Bergwirtschaft Güggel in Aedermannsdorf

This is my second visit and I'm glad that such inns still exist for us hikers. This time I didn't eat anything, but tasted one of the 3 homemade cakes. The price is absolutely adjusted, inflation hasn't reached that point yet :-) All in all, gladly again and keep it up.....

A long way to the Güggelrestaurant. Great view, the food is also great. The service is friendly, including the farm dog and cat. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant itself and must stay outside. The meat is from the farm itself. I forgot the photo of the food.

Had lunch yesterday on the terrace in the sunshine and beautiful views. Very friendly and spetitive service, food at a reasonable price absolutely top. We'll definitely go there again! Highly recommended!

Just stopped for a coffee. The hike through the Wolfsschucht was beautiful.

We were only there for an aperitif, but the first impression from the service to paying was great. That's what it's all about at a restaurant. Just the look from the outside, everything is clean and tidy. And even a converted construction site truck, with seating and food. (Self-service) Simply great!!

Great idea with the self-service construction trailer. Good selection and particularly delicious homemade cakes, flan etc. We were happy a few times on MTB bike tours in cold temperatures to be able to treat ourselves to something good in the warmth.

Currently closed due to Corona. But, there is a big car there. With coffee, cake, mineral water, etc. in it. Very nicely done. Self-service! And then be honest when paying at the Kässli. We'll be back as soon as the Güggel restaurant is allowed to open. Until then, stay healthy

No matter how good the brunch is...a mountain restaurant that bans dogs is a "no go" for me. Where my dog ​​is not welcome, I don't feel comfortable either. It's a shame, I found out too late, otherwise I would have rejected the invitation with all my regrets.

Arrived on a Sunday at 1:00 p.m. There was a lot going on in Güggel at the moment. The service staff was friendly, courteous and prompt, which I would like to highlight as the most positive point of the stay. The boss had a very harsh and dismissive tone towards us. We have interpreted this behavior to mean that in hectic times, you obviously don't want to bother with the e-bikers standing on the road with their batteries, even though they had even phoned in the morning to find out about charging options. They probably just landed at the stupidest time. Unfortunately, the leek soup was served lukewarm at best. I won't be stopping there again in the future.
