Today, Easter Monday, we had an excellent meal in the bee garden. We were 6 people with different menus, all excellent. Kudos to the kitchen. Keep it up, bravo.

Was recommended to me by a friend. Were not particularly happy! Food mediocre, both dishes too salty. You acknowledged it and that was it. Price performance disproportionate - not recommended.

The ambience, service, and food was good. Unfortunately the portions (lunch menu) are very small. Once again, savings are being made in the wrong place! A pity.

End of the year with New Year's Eve menu 2023 in the Bienengarten: The four of us sat at a table that was much too small. This New Year's Eve was a big disappointment for us. The staff was hopelessly overwhelmed. It's a disgrace to accept so many registrations with so little staff! This chalet is unsuitable for serving such expensive New Year's Eve menus. There is also no vestibule at the entrance! (door opens and closes every 2 minutes) Next New Year's Eve we won't be celebrating in the bee garden anymore!! The food and service in the chalet were, simply put, GREAT

Exquisite, served with sympathy and kindness, the menu well presented, I would repeat again.

Cheese fondue moitie moitie eaten in the chalet (4 women). The fondue was amazing, super tasty! Bread and potatoes were served. The service was very friendly, accommodating and attentive. The chalet has a great winter ambience. We then had to order 2 portions of fondue because we were still hungry. In the end the cheese fondue for 4 people cost us 189fr!! cost 😳 ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY NINE 😳 Everything was true, but it's just completely blown out of proportion and it's no longer an option for me to go out to eat.

The food tastes great. Everything is made with love. Despite the large selection of game, there are also very good vegetarian options. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating.

Good food in a cozy atmosphere, especially the garden when the weather is nice. The offer stands for Swiss cuisine and offers calm, clear and fine dishes with charm. Top service rounds off your feeling of well-being as a guest. For us it's always the choice for a nice evening for two or with friends.

We had booked for lunch and I have to say that looking back I'm even more annoyed than before. You can't assume that everyone simply knows that there are lunch menus if nothing is written on it, nothing is mentioned and nothing is included with the usual a la carte menu. You just have to ask about it.... Not everyone is a regular guest and so in retrospect (we had mentioned it) I think it's a rip-off of non-regular guests. Actually, it's a disgrace. At least the coffee could have been offered, at over 200 for 3 people.

Very nice restaurant. Beautiful garden that you can actually enjoy. Unfortunately the service staff is very rude. There was no question about the doneness of an expensive steak and there was no steak knife. Unfortunately I couldn't do anything with the blunt bread knife. The cutlery itself is very old. The dishes only consist of a side dish, which comes across as very “cheeky” considering the prices. Why do you have to choose between vegetables/salad or a filling side dish? Unfortunately not recommended. Price performance is not right here.

You can enjoy and relax in the bee garden. You are warmly welcomed and shown to the table. When the weather is nice, you can sit on the garden terrace under the trees or by the pond. There are also delicious grilled dishes here. The atmosphere in the restaurant is also very nice and cozy. The selection is plentiful and the food is tasty. We really like being in the Dielsdorf bee garden and can recommend it! However, the hotel no longer exists since the renovation, so we can't say anything more about the rooms. Sylvia Schuchardt

Tasty tartar and traditional Swiss cuisine. Not too crowded and traditional decor

Ate in the chalet. Service very good. Eat good . The boss is unfortunately unfriendly and only greets acquaintances, which is not very polite.

We stayed in the chalet on New Year's Eve.The porcini mushroom fondue was excellent and the Chardonnay with it was great.Chalet is very inviting with the facilities and homely.

Local is generally fine. Long waiting times, mediocre service and food and, above all, the (too) high prices do not allow for more than 3 stars. The food was ok so far, even if it was more on the salty side, there were probably some ready-made components and there wasn't exactly a lot of it. The atmosphere is ok, although more could be achieved. Wouldn't necessarily eat there again.

We went here for dinner this summer. It's a shame that cleanliness and order in the garden are no longer taken care of. Otherwise it would be a really cozy garden restaurant. The food was good but we expected more. The meat was overcooked and we had the impression that some of the stuff was from the supermarket. For these prices they should either find another chef or try harder. The service was very nice, but totally overwhelmed and nervous.

Bad service August 23, 2022 Everything went on for too long

We had dinner in the bee garden last night and were absolutely thrilled! The food was amazing, everything was just perfect. The staff was extremely attentive and always looked after us. We definitely weren't there for the last time :). Thank you for the wonderful evening!

Food is really good, it worths its value.

Not recommended at all. The food was totally over salted, that can happen and it's not a bad thing at all. However, when I informed the waitress about this, my comment was noted and over. Neither she nor the boss cared whether the customer was satisfied or not. I wasn't expecting a new menu or demanding anything. Very disinterested restaurant and 0 customer service. Goodbye 👋🏼

When you enter the garden from the sidewalk, you are first led past a garbage dump (plastic bins with empties). Chateaubriand - very small portion of meat, although served in two courses. The vegetables were partially overcooked and the Bernaise sauce that was served with the first course was different. A chef with a bit of professional pride wouldn't have sent these... The second course was a little better after a complaint, but not creamy enough and not an appetizing color. Price performance out of all proportion! The Bienengarten was once a good address with fine cuisine. But that was once..., unfortunately... No longer recommended.

We were here yesterday to celebrate my partner's 60th birthday. It was very warm, so we ordered some ice from the staff to cool the white wine. After 20 minutes and asking 3 times it finally worked. My sole meuniere would definitely have been a little tastier with a little melted butter. Otherwise the food was okay and my friends were also happy with it. The Romanoff coupe should be taken off the map. This was served in a bowl with strawberry ice cream and lots of whipped cream. I returned it with the comment that I was expecting vanilla ice cream with fresh strawberries. Shortly afterwards the waitress, who was very friendly by the way, brought the coupe back to me with the instructions that it had vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries in it and that you just had to mix the contents. I actually found a few strawberry pieces. It was like eating yogurt with strawberry pieces. Far away from the classic Romanoff. Although we initially told the head of service that we were celebrating my partner's 60th birthday, there was no response other than congratulations. With a glass of Prosecco for the woman celebrating her anniversary (a regular guest) and a congratulation from the house, my expectations would have been fulfilled. It still has room for improvement. The food was good and the staff very friendly. But the price/performance….well. For 45.00 Fr. I got 5 shrimps and a leftover vegetable in a small bowl 😞. I can very well understand that the past pandemic and the current food prices are not making business easy for restaurateurs, but at least a little more vegetables and a little whipped cream with the chocolate cake with 1 scoop of ice cream would have made the whole menu more effective. The ambience is very nice. Unfortunately the wouw effect didn't take place at just under 500 for 4 people. Stay tuned ✊🏻✊🏻, the location is great, make something of it! Hello Gabriela

Excellent food. Very attentive and quick service. Very tasty Prosecco, red and white wine... Not cheap but appropriate. But I do better with the spare ribs. Come back.

I hadn't been to the Bienengarten in a good 25 years, not since my in-laws invited us there to celebrate a round birthday. Then, out of the blue, it occurred to me that I liked it back then and wondered if it was still good. So the hubby and I went to visit a distant memory. A lot has changed but the best parts haven't. Back in the day, the Bienengarten was where the upper class of the Zürich Unterland went on special occasions. The main dining room still has that charm with its wood paneled walls, white table cloths, and real silver flatware. But most importantly, the menu is iconicly classic. There are wonderful meat and fish dishes, but also kidneys and milken which you really don't see anymore. Everything is prepared and served to perfection. If you want to feel like nobility, this is the place. However, if you are in the mood for a terrific meal but not a formal evening, the front room serves the same menu in a brightly lit more casual atmosphere. They have also added an event room fit for weddings and there is a lovely garden for good weather dining. All in all, the Bienengarten is a very good reason to take a trip to Dielsdorf.

Fantastic food, nice service, great hosts. If you want to have a really classic (Swiss cuisine) home-style meal, you have to come here. There are also enough parking spaces and the ambience is simply on point. We will definitely come back. We had the saddle of venison and cream Catalan, highly recommended.

Quality is also good for take away. Hopefully we can enjoy it in the Restsurant again soon without certificates...

Good kitchen. Sufficient parking options. Very popular destination. You have to expect slightly longer waiting times, especially around midday when we were there. But otherwise it's just good.

Das Essen war Vorzüglich - ausser Frage. Die Bedienung hat sich jedoch deutlich im Ton vergriffen, was das Abendessen negativ überschattete. Wären nicht sämtliche Alternativen ausgebucht gewesen (Sonntag Abend, Covid), wären wir gleich wieder gegangen.

Wir waren mit Freunden an einem Samstagabend dort. Essen war definitiv früher besser, kleine Portionen, Qualität hat auch nachgelassen. Denke wenn es so weitergeht, kann sich der Bienengarten definitiv verabschieden.

Wir sind oft, fast wöchentlich im "Bieni", doch dieses Mal wurde - zumindest ich - total enttäuscht. Das Mittagsmenu ist normalerweise gut und den Preis definitiv wert! Am letzten Freitag hätte ich nicht mal als Kind genug gehabt. Ein Mini-Rindshuftschnitzel mit wenig Zutaten habe ich serviert bekommen. Zuerst dachte ich, na ja, dann überesse ich mich für einmal nicht, sah aber, dass andere Teller ein mindestens doppelt so grosses Huftschnitzel auf dem Teller hatten. Schade. Auf die Frage der Angestellten ob's gut war, meinte ich, dass ich bestimmt hungrig nach Hause gehe. Keine Reaktion auf diese Aussage.

sehr gutes Restaurant mit einer der schönsten Gartenanlagen. 3 Speisekarten mit abwechslungsreichem Angebot für jeden Geschmack. Weine waren hervorragend. wir kommen gerne wieder.

Früher war alles besser.... möglicherweise auch das Essen im Bienengarten. Der erste Eindruck beim Betreten des Sälis: düster, gedämpfte Atmosphäre. Wir sind aber frohen Mutes und bestellen schon Mal etwas zu Trinken. Die Bedienung begrüsst uns mit einem Amuse Bouche. Ganz klein gehackte Melone mit einem mini Speckstreifen (gebraten). Die Melone lässt uns deutlich wissen, dass ihre Jahreszeit noch etwas weiter entfernt ist. Als Vorspeise bestellen wir eine Oxtail Suppe und Toast Russe mit Mark. Die Suppe ist schon von der Farbe her ungewohnt hell, erweist sich dann auch noch als ziemlich dünn und fad. Der Mark ist ausgezeichnet, wird allerdings viel zu fettig serviert. Die Hauptgänge bestehen aus einem Kalbsmilken Ragoût und einem Cordon Bleu. Leider ist die Milke zu fest (sprich trocken) geraten. Das Cordon Bleu ist etwas angebrannt, der Käse darin ohne wirklichen Geschmack. Dehalb wird auch nicht aufgegessen. Wir bezahlen und verlassen das Lokal, wahrscheinlich für längere Zeit....

Es gibt mittags eine kleine Auswahl von zwei Menus mit Suppe und Salat zu einem moderaten Preis von ca. CHF 20.-. Das Essen ist eine ansprechende Kombination aus Haute Cuisine und bürgerlicher Küche.

Es ist eine grosse Herausforderung, den unterschiedlichsten Gästen gerecht zu werden. Auf ehrliche und professionelle Art mit viel Liebenswürdigkeit gelingt dies dem Team des Bienengartens. Selten wagt sich eine Küche an Innereien, hier kommen sie gekonnt auf den Teller. Das Fleisch wird saignant oder bleu serviert, genauso, wie man es bestellt.Die Gaststube wurde sorgfältig renoviert und es ist ein Vergnügen, sich im traditionellen Bienengarten verwöhnen zu lassen.

Gutes Restaurant mit schönem Ambiente und tollem Garten für laue Sommerabende oder tagsüber ein feines Glacé. Schmackhaftes Essen. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier.

Jubiläumsessen3 verschiedene Vorspeisen, alle gut.3 verschiedene Hauptgänge, alle gut.2x Dessert, sehr gut.Die Offen-Weinauswahl ist vorzüglich.Die Preis – Leistung entspricht leider nicht dem gebotenen.Über die letzten Jahre ist die Qualität leider gesunken und entspricht nicht mehr dem erwartete. Der Service ist sehr gut.Persönlich kenne ich noch den Vorgänger (Herr Peter Gut) und habe niemals nur Durchschnitt im Bienengarten erlebt. Leider ändern sich die Zeiten.

Es gibt sehr viele sehr schöne und gepflegte Räumlichkeiten im Bienengarten (inkl. WCs); die Menükarte enthält eine grosse Auswahl an erlesenen Köstlichkeiten (inkl. den vorgeschlagenen tollen Menüs) und alles bei vernünftigen Preisen; das Essen kommt frisch zubereitet und in der richtigen Temperatur auf den Tisch und schmeckte hervorragend; der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam.

Die Speisekarte ist ausreichend. Das Essen ist sehr gut aber im oberen Preissegment. Die Portionen sind eher klein! Z. B Rindsfilet Stroganoff mit Spätzli (ohne Gemüse) CHF 44.00. Für diesen Preis könnte man schon noch etwas Gemüse erwarten. Schade! Die Bedienung war freundlich.

So durfte ich dieses Restaurant schon zweimal Besuchen sei es zum Menu am Mittag oder zum genussvollen klassischen Nachtessen. Sehr freundlicher Service und was aus der Küche kommt Ist sehr gut und sehr zu empfehlen. Bestimmt gehe ich mal im Sommer wieder vorbei, denn es hat einen ganz schönen einladenden Garten.

War zum Mittagessen da. Einfache Karte mit zwei Menus. Guter Wein, nette Bedienung. Rahmsauce der Rahmnudeln war langweilig aber ok.

Im Sommer besonders schön, ist der tolle Garten. Tische und Stühle stehen direkt auf der Wiese.Ich war nun schon mehrmals zu Gast, mit verschiedenen Personen und das Essen war immer vorzüglich.Auch der Service war jedesmal freundlich und sehr aufmerksam.Hat auch eine tolle Weinkarte.Empfehlenswert.

Der Bienengarten offeriert eine gutbürgerliche schweizerische Küche. Das Essen schmeckt gut. Der Bienengarten ist ein solides Restaurant. Es ist eine gute Möglichkeit geschäftlich oder im Familienrahmen zu essen. Wer kein Gourmet Restaurant erwartet, sondern gut schweizerische gehobene Küche ist am richtigen Ort. Die Preise sind aus meiner Sicht angemessen. Mein persönlicher Favorit ist das "Thunfisch-Carpaccio" als Vorspeise. Das Garten-Restaurant ist sehr schön. An einem schönen Abend dort zu speisen ist zu empfehlen.

Es war wie immer hervorragend!!! Angefangen mit dem Apero im Garten, gefolgt vom einzigartigen Sonntagsmenu und zu guter Letzt wurden wir im Garten mit Dessert und Kaffee verwöhnt😊.

Wir waren zu einem Geburtstagsessen geladen - mehrgängiges Menü - alle Speisen waren perfekt - der Service im grossen und ganzen auch gut bis sehr gut! Freundlich Wenn auch es manchmal mit dem zählen nicht ganz geklappt hat! Über die Kosten können wir nichts sagen - waren ja geladen!

hier gegessen haben sowohl für Mittag- und Abendessen. Das Menü zum Mittagessen ist sehr gut. Das Abendessen ist auch sehr schön. Wenn das Wetter gut ist der Garten ist wunderbar.

Für ein spontanes Abendessen in den Bienengarten. Das Lokal bietet ein angenehmes Ambiente, die Karte eine gute Auswahl und das Personal (und die Küche) gehen auch auf spezielle Wünsche ein und setzen diese in guter Qualität um. Für uns ein gelungener und schmackhafter Abend.

Am 01. April 2017 freuten wir uns auf ein Geburtstagsessen im Bienengarten. (7Personen) Positiv: Ambiente Negativ: Über 90 Minuten auf das Essen gewartet Preis/Leistung Service (Bei einem Restaurant dieser Preisklasse, erwarte ich einen tadellosen Service. Dieser Wurde leider nicht erfüllt) Portionen waren eher klein

^Die Atmosphäre war angenehm ruhig. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, nicht übertrieben genauso wie er sein sollte. Das Essen war sehr gut und schön angerichtet. Das Preissegment befindet sich in der oberen Klasse.

Immer wieder gerne gehen wir über Mittag in den Bienengarten und geniessen - bei schönem Wetter im herrlichen Garten - ein Top Mittagsmenu zu sehr fairen Preisen. W

Preis/Leistung stimmt hier gar nicht. Selten so eine schlechtes Erlebniss gehabt!Restaurant wird als Gourmet-Ort positioniert wird dem aber nur mit den hohen Preisen auf der Menukarte gerecht. Unfreundlicher Empfang, Wartezeit von 60min auf den Hauptgang. Qualität sehr bescheiden, Reis hart, Fleisch trocken. Es gibt Beizen in der Region wo man um einiges besser und billiger isst. Zum Schluss noch das unaufmerksame Servicepersonal, welche trotz zweimaligen Fragen nach der Rechnung, uns keine Beachtung schenkte. Wir mussten aufstehen und an der BarTheke gehen um zahlen zu können. Schade es war das Geburtstagessen zu unserem 40igsten. Werde einen weiten Bogen um diese Lokalität machen.

Ich besuche dieses Restaurant 2-3 mal im Jahr mit Geschäftspartnern. Das Restaurant hat einen schönen Garten um im ruhigen, ungestörten Ambiente zu essen. Innen ist es auch sehr schön. Die Menukarte hat eine sehr gute Auswahl und die Qualität passt. Ich komme wieder.

Es war mit einem Kollegen und verliebte sich in die Atmosphäre. das kann man sehr schön versteckt Garten gesehen werden von der Fassade. Das Essen ist gut aber üblich überall in Zürich's Restaurants. Es ist mehr das Ambiente Grilleinrichtungen sommerliche Wetter, dass gewinnt es alle.

Wir waren mit Freunden zum Lunch. Hatten Tatar und Spaghetti Carbonara. Beides war sehr gut und alles frisch. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Preis-Leistung hat für uns absolut gestimmt.Kleines Minus für die wenigen Sonnenschirme im Garten. An der prallen Sonne wird es dann definitiv zu heiss.

Der Tisch war schön weiss aufgedeckt. Service rundum gut. Vorspeise -Kalamares für Fr.22. 00 und die Eisberg Crevetten (5 Stück) für Fr. 28.00 sind wohl etwas zu teuer ausgefallen. Gemischter Salat war ganz ok. Das Rinds Entrecote (Fr. 39.00) - Fleisch etwas zu hart - aber schön rosa gebraten war ok. Kalbs Cordon Bleu (Fr. 43.00) meiner Meinung nach etwas zu dunkel die Panade.Im Grossen und Ganzen war es ok. Haut einem nicht gerade aus den Socken.

Im Sommer draussen sitzen ist echt toll, bei winterlichen Temperaturen war das natürlich nicht möglich. Grundsätzlich war Service und Essen befriedigend, hatten einen guten 2-er Tisch mit Blick in den Garten. Leider gabs Lüftungsprobleme, zurück im Geschäft konnte man das Essen am Anzug nochmals 'geniessen'.Fazit: Gehobenes Preisniveau bei befriedigendem Essen

Wir kamen um 1720 Uhr und wollten essen. Man gab uns die "kleine" Karte. Auswahl sehr klein. Das Essen war gut aber nicht aussergewöhnlich! Nicht mal eine Garnitur war auf dem Teller angerichtet!! Die Preise liegen im oberen Bereich. Preis-/Leistung nicht erfüllt. Schade, denn der Bienengarten war mal super!!!

Wir hatten heute zum zweiten Mal den einfachen Lunch im Bienengarten - ausgezeichnet und preiswert! Ich freue mich schon heute auf einen FineFoodVisit mit mehr Zeit und Musse !

Wenn Sie ein Fan von gutem Fleisch sind, ist dies der richtige Ort für Sie. Ihr hängeden Fleisch ist von höchster Qualität. Gute Auswahl an Weinen. Nicht billig aber lohnt sich!
