Big Ben Pub in Oberrieden

Everything about this pub is fantastic, cozy atmosphere, great food and amazing service. The bartender was very polite and friendly, recommended nice beers and was very entertaining with his genuine sense of humor. Definitely a place I am planning to return to and recommend all my friends to visit. Definitely a 10/10!

The Big Ben pub is a very cosy bar, with great food for very reasonable prices. The staff is very welcoming, had a lovely time would recommend to anyone around.

Such a lovely little pub nestled in Oberrieden dorf. Food was really delicious such good value for what we had! The staff made us feel very welcome and the atmosphere in the pub was great. Will definitely be back!!

Friendly and well located in Oberrieden. Cider and beer are fine - unfortunately I haven't eaten yet. Have to catch up. Prices are more in the upper segment, for Oberrieden.

What an atmosphere, Paulie is the best jost one would want. Warm up in the winter.... chill out in the summer.... if you are close or just passing by I couldn't recommend it higher.

I recently moved to Oberrieden and just had a quick beer. I was probably the oldest, but I was served in a friendly manner and felt welcome. I will visit this pub more often.

One of the few authentic pubs remaining, nestled by the lake with warm mahogany, high ceilings oozing with past and present characters, plus a little cheeky game of proper darts behind it all. Thank you for a lovely experience and laugh!

Big Ben Pub offers up a warm and familiar atmosphere in which to settle in for a few hours of drinks, good food and football. The proprietors (Martin and Barbara) welcome locals and visitors alike with Archie the dog watching over the bar. Awesome spicy homemade chicken wings and a surprisingly authentic South Carolina pulled pork sandwich. The chicken and mushroom and steak and ale pies were reportedly delicious as well. Enjoyed it so much we came back a second night. Great place to unwind.

Authentic British style pub in a small village along lake Zurich. Classic pub interior with some great classics on tap (great pint of Guinness and Kilkenny's!). Also has a selection of different beers on tap which vary over time, such as a selection of IPAs. Lots of other choices for drinks, too. Food is great. The owner Martin smokes his own wings, pulled pork etc. on site and it's all pretty tasty. Highly recommend the wings and the pies, with a pint of Guinness to go with it, naturally. Martin's super friendly - completing the pub experience with a friendly welcoming landlord. Highly recommended!

Proper little English pub in Oberreiden! Good selection of beers on tap, and the food is fantastic. Can recommend the pulled pork nachos.

This is one ☝️ of the most amazing ‘off piste’ bars in the Zurich area, well worth a visit, always kind hospitality here , Martyn the owner is a great host , and his cuisine is off the scale especially the pulled pork sandwich, and hot dogs ; it’s an ideal venue for Zurich and Zug meetups.. I just love the place, again especially if you come from Zug or Zurich as the S24 train connects both cities within 15 minutes of this awesome bar. This place is well worth a visit 👍🏽

The only pub we really enjoy being in. Clean, very good prices, excellent service, excellent drinks and delicious snacks. We have nothing to complain about. Martyn and the Big Ben Pub are simply fantastic!

Great beer selection and awesome food! Martin is always rotating his beers so you can try new things. The menu is simple and really well done. Amazing wings, pulled pork to die for, and the Hot Dog is a real surprise. Welcoming atmosphere and a great experience all around. Highly recommend!

Love this pub! Great atmosphere and delicious food. I lived in North Carolina (home of BBQ) for a year and this was hands down the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had!

A Home from Home for a Pie and A Pint. This small yet cosy bar caters well with a good selection of beers and Martyn rotates the taps regularly too. Eg. Brewdogs Clockwork Tangerine 👌 . He serves up locally made pies from Adliswil and they are superb.

Really pub-like experience which is rather rare here, and live music. Also even though they currently only have pies, their pies are pretty nice.

This pub is fantastic especially after the overhaul. Martin nailed it. Great selection of beers including ales which many of the local bars don't stock. The pies are brand new too. I've had the Chicken and Mushroom and Beef Bourguignon and both great. Probably one of the best cheap meals in all of CH. Also a great outdoor patio for eating, drinking and a smoke.

Great little pub in Oberrieden Dorf. Very accomodating, put the women's world cup soccer game on for us :-). Great ambiance and atmosphere. Owner was warm friendly and chatty which we enjoyed. LOVED the pies, so pleased it was heated up and not microwaved , nice and hot, flaky pastry and great taste, thank you :-)

The only classic Welch pub on Lake Zürich. Close to all. THE BEST selection of beer on the lake or in Zurich. Keeper!!!! Must hang st this wateringhole. Owner is former Mich Star guy looking for a better life with more fun... and he and the place are fun. Find it...!!!!!
