Bio Fred in Genève

We found our favorite bio cafe! The lady was very kind and nice, welcomed us even we couldn’t speak French. We had charcoal vegetarian latte, soup of the day, meal of the day, chocolate brownie and berry smoothie! some time we feel something is missing or a bit lacking when we eat such healthy bio food. But it never happens at Bio Fred! The flavor has depth and is delicious. couldn’t have been better! Of course you feel very light in your stomach after eating those tasty food. we love Bio Fred so much. Thank you very much. We will definitely come back.

Small haven of peace in the old town. Very few seated beaches, it's more supposed to be take away. The service and food are top notch. What a joy to be able to eat vegan. If it were possible to make the seats inside a little more comfortable that would be just perfect! All good for the future!

A great place tucked away in the side street of old town Geneva. The food was good; the staff very friendly and helpful. It is very tiny, but there are a couple of table outside to sit down. It was a very pleasant atmosphere.

Simple and delicious sandwiches with fresh vegetables and not very sweet and tasty desserts! A very pleasant choice of drinks made in Swiss too. Looking forward to coming back to taste other dishes!

What an amazing place! Vegan is becoming so mainstream now that most places do vegan junk food. This place is all about health though! It’s very tasty yet simple at the same time. I had their plat du jour; it was both flavorful and generous in quantity. Their salad was amazing, and I topped it all off with a great coffee (for you coffee lovers), a brownie and a chia pudding. I also had a green smoothie that was so good. I highly recommend this place to anyone in a quest for a tasty and healthy vegan meal in Geneva. The ambiance is also very chilled. I had a chat with the owners and they are so nice, welcoming and accommodating. I absolutely loved every bit of this place.

Lovely little cafe in the old town of geneva. The tofu toast was delicious and our waitress was very helpful, she even brought us blankets to sit outside on a cold morning and spoke English well.

Loved all the food here!! We got the tofu sandwich and the avocado sandwich both were amazing and also shared an incredibly delicious soup. It was great sitting outside right in the old town. Highly recommend trying this place!!

Excellent vegan, organic and healthy food and beverages

A great restaurant without meat or fish! The recipes eaten were very good (summer rolls, and vegan sushi), particularly the sushi, because I felt a real explosion of flavors, and everything was well presented. The staff are friendly and efficient. Finally, the place is small but the space is well optimized and it is even possible to eat on site, in fact there are two tables available. So remember this address if you plan to eat a meat-free meal in Geneva 😉

Here you will find, in a pretty, cozy and stylish little setting, a cook-yogi passionate about natural health and beautiful exchanges. I have known BioFred for many years and have not been disappointed once. It’s one of the only reasons that makes me go to town at the moment 😀

Lovely little place in the Old Town of Geneva! I really enjoyed my fresh juice, made on the spot, in this tiny gem of a shop. All fresh, plant-based dishes and drinks, plus a few items to shop (herbal teas, grains, nuts, spreads, refrigerated drinks, chocolate, freshly made wraps and salads), sometimes gift items like natural, plant-based products (body lotions etc). It is well hidden but definitely worth a visit! Staff members are very nice and ready to explain anything you may need to know, every time I go the atmosphere is warm, welcoming and vibrant. On my first visit I had a cold-pressed juice and bough some fermented veggies and a freshly-made raw seaweed “tartare”. So good! Many fresh raw foods available - which is not an easy thing to find. Your order is prepared while you wait, and you can sit ouside to eat/drink and enjoy the atmosphere of the Old Town… the silence of the pedestrian area and its history, as the shop is nedested just behind a church and not far from Saint Peter’s cathedral. I highly recommend Bio Fred! ✌️

Good taste, and you will get healthy feeling while eating. However, it's expensive comparing with other restaurants.

Unfriendly atmosphere, a lady in front of me kindly asks if they make or would make einkorn bread which upset this gentlemen baker... the tone rises, I decide to continue on my way lol.

I have been going to bio fred for years. It's organic from organic and it's delicious. You can go there with your eyes closed, especially if you are near the old town. I particularly recommend the heart-shaped sandwiches and the fresh juices as well as its turmeric specialties. There are often new seasonal items. When I go there, I feel good afterwards. Bravo for your work, the new layout of the store and the new decor. See you soon

I have been going to Bio Fred regularly since it opened a few years ago. The sandwiches are delicious, the salads and the juices too. Fred is very welcoming and happily answers all your questions. Its employees are also very friendly.

Best little secret vegan place 🌱 Bio Fred is a lovely place with great food and products

Always delicious for a homemade dish of your choice at lunchtime. I ate a "simple" salad today: the best I've tasted in years. It's really delicious, healthy, the price is reasonable. The service is friendly, human, sometimes calm and I always return with pleasure.

What a gem in Old Town! Bio Fred is a super « crunchy «  organic store with a small but very nice selection of high end organic food and a daily plat du jour, smoothies etc! A bit pricey and definitely hard to find, it’s a nice spot to go after wandering through Tip’s across the street.

An oasis of health and excellent fresh juices!! Made in the minute and customizable!! With seasonal organic vegetables and fruits. You can also find sandwiches with organic, naturally leavened or gluten-free bread. Also several salads. Go for it!! Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. And finally on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
