We stopped off during our walking tour of Bern, what a great place for a drink while exploring the city! The owner is awesome and super personable! very welcoming, I wish this bar was in my hometown!

On my last evening in Bern my partner and I were looking for a place to have a glass of wine and found Blue Cat. It turned out to be a much nicer evening than we expected! The bartender was so friendly and welcoming. We ended up chatting with everyone at the bar and sampling wonderful Swiss wine. It was such a great way to spend our last evening there! I hope to go back again :)

This place was the best experience in Bern for me and my partner. We went there for a glass of beer and stayed way longer. The place is cozy and very friendly, the owner is an amazing and charming person who made us feel like home. Everyone at the bar seemed like one big family and we met a lot of people that night. Tourist scam ! Avoid this place at all costs ! There are no signs that say cash only it is not written on the menu or anywhere. When the employee/owner took our order he did not mention it as well. He waited until we got our food to mention it. We did not eat or touch our food we told him we don’t want it we don’t have cash. He got very hostile saying he will call the cops etc. he forced us to use a atm with crazy high fees. He watched him do the exact same thing to 3 other tourist families. Absolute scam. All tourists avoid this place they just try to rip you off and get hostile.
