Excellent and super-friendly team that focuses on the guests and looks after them excellently. Very good lunch menu at a very fair price-performance ratio.

Incredibly great restaurant run by WABE. The staff is unique. Very attentive, friendly and always well placed. The food is excellent and the prices are more than fair for such high quality food.

Great bistro. You eat well and they make an effort.

A chance find: The small Bistrot Wabene in the middle of the village center of Wald attracted us to sit down spontaneously with its sunny tables and a tempting menu. The daily menu: trout fillets from the forest (Kilometer Zero!) with fresh vegetables and rice, perfectly cooked and deliciously served by chef Patrick Rhyner and his team. As a starter, a hand-cooked tomato soup or a fresh, colorful salad. And crispy bread as if it were homemade. All of this served with a lot of love and at a very reasonable price. The Bistrot Wabe has its very own atmosphere. We learned that the pub belongs to the WABE Foundation - an organization that supports disabled people, offering them living space and individually tailored work opportunities. As a guest customer, we didn't notice anything - except that the staff were particularly friendly and made a special effort. Next time we will take a detour, for example when we go for a walk on the Bachtel.

It's a pleasure. A well-kept place where you feel comfortable. And in the "workshop" you can always find something small as a gift or just like that ;-) Thanks to the whole team for their commitment!
