Since the truffle ravioli was unfortunately out, I got truffle risotto as an alternative, which was so good that I had to control myself not to lick the plate. The gentleman from the service hardly had any kind words and if you get a little hungry you will be insulted as a guest for being “damaging to your business”. When they asked to get the Weisswurst, they waved it in the guests' faces that it was only small instead of offering an alternative and the behavior was ironically apologized for after being spoken to, but there was no explanation and only the word “damaging to business” - which as a guest belongs to getting is very rude. Super friendly service, a great Mittagsmenu and wonderful vibe & ambience to this charming place, it’s garden tucked behind the main highstreet in Uznach. We were even able to order half portions of the Mittagsmenu for our 5 year old. The food was really tasty & really nicely presented (see photos). We didn’t take photos of the mains as we were too keen to tuck in! 😂Sadly as it was a week day we did not get to experience the wine and beer menu but there was a really decent selection on offer! We will be back!
