Rarely have I had such a delicious, crispy pizza. The pasta was fine. Unfortunately the Piccata Milanese was a bit soggy. Dessert again fantastic!

Pizzas on pancake dough, our homemade pizzas are much better. Really very average quality ingredients. Nice setting. Stressful service and it is the industry to provide several services, you should not plan to go to this restaurant to have a nice time. For a pizza at 28 chf we expect better!

The pizza was very thin and dry (the dough). The base was the same as a lahmacun (Turkish dish). I wouldn't recommend eating pizza at this restaurant unless you're craving crackers with ready-made tomato sauce. The price is the same as the other restaurants in Saas Fee. There are several pizzerias in Saas Fee where you can get much better and tastier pizzas for the same money.

the waiter forgets to serve someone and pretends that there are too many people in the restaurant. The forgotten person will only be served at the end of the meal. go your way.

If you don't want to be yelled at for asking something, don't go. Bad service:(

Good value for money, professional and friendly staff

Yesterday there were 5 people including a small child. But the staff was underground on this visit. The only thing that was child-friendly was the high chair provided. We felt unwanted from the first second and we were made to feel that. The fact that the service staff obviously continued to gossip about us was the final straw and caused us to write this recession.

What a pleasant surprise. The staff is SUPER friendly and attentive, which is not always easy to find in Europe. As for the food, we can only speak for the pizza, which was great. Fresh and thin crusted. Will visit again...

We used to go to Boccalino as our farewell dinner at the end of the ski week for many years. Unfortunately over time the food and the service are deteriorating.. so probably will look for another option next time.

Never order pizza here. Ridiculous prices and almost no toppings. They wronged someone’s reservation and Blaimed it on the customer.

I can only wish anyone who greets a guest in an empty restaurant at lunchtime with the remark: “We don’t have room for a stroller (with a sleeping baby) inside” all the best for the future.

The food was enjoyable, but no wow factor. The restaurant tries to maximise revenue by having 2 seatings each night, which doesn’t allow time for appetizer AND dessert. Except this is not mentioned to anyone at arrival. We were offered dessert, we ordered dessert and then were told there was not enough time for us to eat it before “the next reservation would arrive”. Our suggestion to perhaps forewarn diners accordingly fell on deaf ears. We were told that the restaurant had been run like this for 20 years and would not change anything. When in Saas Fee, we highly recommend Zur Mühle or Vieux Chalet. Those are both something special.

We ate a Marguerite pizza there which was good. However, the waitress was not pleasant, in a hurry to clear our table and see us leave. They charge 5 chf for a carafe of water despite the fact that we each had a drink. So, we won't go back there again...

We went to the Boccalino restaurant three times during our long weekend The first time we didn't make a reservation, but an hour later we got a table for two people Very friendly and attentive staff (e.g. on the second visit - with a reservation - we were recognized and brought to the table) Restaurant with typical Italian dishes. From the lasagne to spaghetti Bolognese to the pizza, everything was delicious. Very good price/performance ratio Reservations are also recommended on normal weekdays.

Always good to eat in Saas-Fee. Great pizzas, and also spaghetti and pasta. The prawns Knobli Spaghetti in particular are awesome.

Simple pizzeria in a central location. The atmosphere isn't that special (of the "company canteen" type), but the staff is nice and the pizzas are quite good.

Food was okay. Lots of coarse grains of sea salt on my carpaccio. Such a shame that was the only thing I tasted. Less salt or not at all to taste the flavor of the tasty meat. Lasagna was tasty. My friend had a steak that was okay but not the tastiest he has had. My mother's risotto was delicious. My dad's pork steak was also okay. A lot of salt on the fries, so be a little more gentle with the salt 🙈. All in all it's okay. Food for a fair price! Ice cream is a must!! They know how to serve the dumplings here and they are nice and big!

We 3 adults and 3 children came here on August 28th, 2021 to eat pizza. Pizza very good, fast service. Unfortunately not child-friendly. The friendliness of the service with long blonde hair leaves a lot to be desired. As we left, we praised the food from the boss behind the counter, but also mentioned unfriendliness. Then she became rude and made abusive comments. It's a shame, I can only advise families with children not to enter this pizzeria.

Nice place and well located. For the rest we were quite disappointed. There were 5 of us and we decided to order 2 starters to share. There were 4 bruschettas and 4 garlic breads even though there were 5 of us! Milanese piccata with 3 small pieces of meat. Pizza nothing more. The staff was not very cheerful. In conclusion, very high value for money for the quality served on the plates. Epicurean or gourmet go your way.

We had two pizzas to take away. The dough is dry and thin. The tomato sauce is definitely not homemade and the cheese is an industrial product. Probably the pizza dough too. Not recommendable!!!

I rated 1 star but it doesn’t even deserve it. Spaghetti pesto were served full of water underneath the pasta. The jar of cheese parmesan cointained mould (green stuff). The waitress has been complaining loudly to her colleague in the restaurant that I was wrong and brutally brought back the same jar of cheese. Huge disrespect!!!

Service is kind and attentive. Cannot recommend food though. Ordered a big portion of spaghetti Bolognese and a glas of Barbera. What I received was a small portion, little meat, no tomato, little spaghetti. Other restaurants next door make me smile when I get the Bolognese. This one was sad.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Pizza war vorzüglich! Auch die Spaghetti mit Vongole haben vorzüglich geschmeckt.

Tuvimos aquí nuestra primera cena en Saas Fee, ya que estaba cerca de nuestro hotel. El servicio es amable y jovial. Cuando entramos allí no había mucha gente, pero cuando comenzamos nuestra comida, la gente entró y pronto casi toda la mesa estaba ocupada. Mi cena fueron buenos saltinbocca de cerdo y risotto blanco, mientras que mi esposa tenía los espaguetis con grandes gamberoni. Los precios son razonables para esta estación de esquí.

Nous sommes venu sans réservation et l’employée qui nous a reçu n’avait pas l’air d’avoir envie de nous trouver une table, impression de déranger!La pizza était bonne et la serveuse qui s’est occupée de notre table était sympathique.Par contre le sirop pour un enfant a 3.80CHF c’est du vol!

Nous avons dîné ici mardi soir dernier. Mes saltimbocca de porc étaient tendres et savoureux. Ma femme avait du spaghetty con gamberoni qu'elle a apprécié. Le service était amicale et attentioné. Pendant que nous mangions, le restaurant était plein.

La pizza, la pâte très bonne , le risotto aux gemberonni excellent, avec un Primitivo super ,service accueil souriant, et le dessert un Tiramisu trop bon , et j’oubliais l’apéro un BocaSpritz un découverte . Bonne adresse à Saas Fee .
