BÖHLI AG - Bäckerei Confiserie in Appenzell

I bought goat donuts today. Oh well. Wasn't a hit. The oil in the deep fryer is too hot or too old.

The products themselves deserve a 5/5. But the prices and the surcharge within a very short time disappointed me very much... Prices would only be acceptable in large cities (in my opinion!). Just because of this, stop shopping with you every day. Luckily, there is also a wonderful Beck near me at work who sells them at reasonable prices.

Good selection, nice products. Personally speaking, however, Magenbrot was a bit disappointing.

A dream wedding, a drama cake. The cake took a long time to prepare and in the end it didn't look as we expected. We didn't receive the cake in person, so it was almost a surprise on the day of the party. We responded with laughter, but to be honest, you could have something pretty special for that price. I will never forget for the rest of my life how ugly (yet delicious) this cake was on the best day of my life... In the appendices I added reality vs. inspiration/unfortunately I don't have to explain which is which/. PS: The day before the party they didn't want to show us the cake, so we were surprised on the day of our big day. Please share here a photo of the cake before transport to assess whether it resembles the cake that was the inspiration (let's ignore the damage it suffered during transport).

Brought croissants and they were perfect

After they left, they didn't want to sell anything in the bakery, even though I was very hungry. That's why I only give it a Dtern, because I now have to walk home very disappointed, without any energy from the Böhli. From now on I will only shop at Drei König.

Nice bakery and very friendly staff. Is recommended when visiting Appenzell.
