I was craving a good coffee in Geneva. I looked in Google Maps for the best reviewed coffee shop and found this. With high expectations, I ordered a cappuccino, two espressos and a cold brew. The espresso was so bad that my family members couldn't drink it. The cappuccino wasn't good either. But I must say the cold brew was good, you have to mix it with milk. Fascinating: I wouldn't come here again, I was disappointed after reading all the comments. Maybe it was a bad day for them that I caught it.

The welcome and service is really great. Patrick recommended the fruit Acai bowl to me and it was just delicious. I became a regular, especially thanks to Patrick who is a very friendly and smiling person. The best Boreal in Geneva is the one where I feel the best. A beautiful atmosphere thanks to the team who works there.

Had an aeropress here which not many places in Geneva make, and it was good.

Small coffee shop close to the train station Gare Cornavin. Good milk coffee, muffins and cakes. The almond milk coffee was not so great though. Great service.

They didn’t provide any filter coffee even though it's on the menu. So on Sunday you will be content only coffee on base of espresso blend, pity

Coffee looked very goof but there was only one person working for 10 people in line and also he was working the register and making the coffee. Hire more workers.

If I had to choose where to drink coffee again, I would definitely choose this place.

Delicious flat white! I asked for a double shot flat white in a 2 centileter mug, with about 70% whole milk and 30% heavy cream, and it was perfect!!!

Good welcome. The chai tea is very good and not too sweet. Fast and friendly service. Same prices as Starbucks but more quality.

Amazing coffee beans sourced directly from plantations around the world. Third wave coffee done right, well trained baristas who are friendly as well. Nice place for a quick meet up, great location right next to Gare Cornavin. Great coffee, decent croissants.

Despite a warm welcome and good service, I was disappointed by my last visit. The cinnamon roll was good but too cold. Also, there was too much caramel in my latte, I couldn't taste the coffee.

Nice coffee shop with both outdoor and indoor seating areas. The cappuccino was well made and frothy with a strong espresso shot. The ice coffee wasn't as good though. Somewhat expensive for the sizes.

Cozy space and friendly staff. Their vegan oatmilk does not cost extra for with your coffee, for other plantmilks you might pay extra.

A relatively expensive place, the waitresses were nice but there is no table service and they made a mistake with the order so we got up to them too many times... We ordered things and only when we came to pick them up did we remember that we ran out and had to choose other things that we didn't plan and didn't want... But the food was of good quality and the coffee especially.

Nice place right in the heart of the city. Friendly staff even helped me with my French. Limited but free toilet. Place was clean. Usual cost for Switzerland. Seating inside and out. Good selection of drinks hot and cold.

Boréal Coffee Shop is a great little coffee shop located right next to the exit of the Geneva train station. It's a great place to stop for a coffee or a snack before or after your train journey. The shop is small but cozy, with a few tables inside and a few outside. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the coffee is excellent. I had a mint tea and a cinnamon roll, and both were delicious. The cinnamon roll was so good that I ate it so fast I forgot to take a picture! The prices are reasonable, and the shop is open from early in the morning until late at night, so it's a great place to stop for a quick bite or a coffee at any time of day.

Lots of gluten free snack options and a variety of alternative milks including oat and lactose free.

As a coffee enthusiast, Boréal is a great place to visit. They have tons of options such as matcha and non dairy milks, which can be rare for many places in Europe. Great atmosphere.

Still in my quest for pastries/coffee, I stopped by your place. To shorten it. Croissant and pain au chocolat all stale… were they those from the day before or the day before?? -3pt On the other hand, you took them with pliers and not your hands. +0.5 Espresso good smell, taste ok but nothing more. +0.5 Cappuccino pretty to look at but very average to taste: +0 Price: too expensive, just because you are close to Starbucks doesn't mean you should try to get close to their price. -1

Although the indoor space is smaller here than at other locations (from Bel-air to Plainplais), most people enjoy sitting outside. Anyone who wants to use a laptop must come to Boreal. There is no place where you can use your laptop as comfortably as here.

Amazing coffee, had a choice between three for espresso. Double espresso was the best I had in Geneva, so smooth!

I fell off the chair (and not only because of the prices) -- they could improve the layout and especially do something about that silly step in the middle of the tiny seating area

A pleasant atmosphere in a picturesque place. The latte is pleasant with a slight touch of bitterness. I recommend this place which overlooks a quiet square allowing you to enjoy your drink both outdoors and indoors.

One of the most delicious coffee shops in Geneva

This Boréal is really a lottery, sometimes the service is fast and the coffee is top notch and other times quite the opposite. Obviously, it depends on the staff, many times, we come across baristas who are not super professional, who get upset in front of customers, who take a lot of time to serve the coffee and/or who gets the order wrong. . It’s a shame because the coffee is good quality and the cakes and desserts are really good. The service really needs to be reviewed… It's good if you have time otherwise for a takeaway coffee before the train, it's ruined!

Le Boréal is always an amazing cafe with delicious drinks and snacks. Too bad they lack indoor space, especially in winter 🥲

There are no coffee shops open on Sunday mornings near Geneva Station. I’m glad I found a delicious coffee shop!!

This is a cute little coffee shop on the main shop near the central train station. It is one of the better places to grab a coffee of you are from out of town and worth the walk over from the train station if you are playing the waiting game.

The cafe is nice, a little crowded, but we got a place to sit, the coffee is strong, flat white, great, and the Cinnabon is sweet, and the blackberry is strong, with indoor and outdoor seating, and a seat underneath, and the place is the same.

How to start your day right? Not complicated, I stop at Boréal every morning to get a takeaway cappuccino. In a few moments I get my dose of good music, good atmosphere and caffeine. Thanks for the good vibes!
