There are always films worth seeing on offer. Nice place to stay afterwards.

My friend's fur coat worth 150 euros was stolen in this location and the problem was dealt with so succinctly by an incompetent, blonde employee. I would like an explanation otherwise I will file a criminal complaint. To all! Never leave anything of value unattended in this restaurant. The staff and Securitas failed across the board and made no attempt to solve the problem. My tip, if valuables are important to you, please don't go to this place. You will be dealt with in the most primitive way. Kind regards to the entire staff today, November 19th, 2023... Ps: I will edit the review so that only mine is at the top. I warned you on site and was not taken seriously. Now you get a lesson at its finest. I expect a statement because otherwise I will be forced to publicize further...well, unpleasant events that evening. See Lucerne Animal Clinic, they have already done their part and as you can see with a great response. It's a shame the blonde employee on the first floor didn't take me seriously.

In times when movie theatres compete against home cinemas (VOD, netflix etc) a really uncomfortable warm and stuffy room only with every second chair occupied is just not what I expect to attract people to come to the theatres. Upon request to take care of the temperatures the staff responded with the air conditioning system is at its max because of all the guest. There was not even a light breeze of fresh air.... Sorry, but in that case i stay in my own 4 compfy walls.

Great social gathering place with a good bar. The cinemas are downstairs and are also good. Great place to meet and also to book for a group apero.

Beer was delicious and there was a great atmosphere! I met another great woman. Unfortunately, the spiral staircase to the toilet had too many turns, which made me dizzy. That's why only 4 out of 5 insider tip: there is free beer in the Ibis Hotel fridge next door =)

Great atmosphere where young and old meet! Unfortunately there is no good beer on offer. Eichhof would be the better solution! Probably also in terms of sustainability!

Casual cafe/bar for everyone. Every now and then everything revolves around the former car garage - very surprising and funny, especially for children. Great cinema with many films in the original or outside the mainstream.

New Year's Eve party 2022/2023 Absolute flop, 2 dance floors, 2x the same techo music, wardrobe extremely disorganized. All in all, the year can only get better!

Ideal place to drink a coffee or aperitif in peace. As long as you can tolerate children's noises.

Unfortunately the drinks were made with little passion. The bar is otherwise cozy.

The Bourbaki is simply a great location, the cinema is one of the most beautiful and cozy that I have ever seen. The range of films for children is also great and challenging.

Educational museum on part of our history. Impressive and exciting in the heart of Lucerne

A nice little movie theater in the basement of Bourbaki. They have a good selection of great movies not in from the mainstream Hollywood titles, also in English and other original languages. Great place to have a drink or coffee as well.

Especially cool in summer because it's cool in the basement. Very good films. I really enjoy going there!

Great atmosphere – worth a visit.

Great cultural center in the middle of Lucerne. On top of that is a gigantic circular painting: the Bourbaki Panorama. There is a restaurant on the ground floor, which is in the middle of a huge revolving stage. Anyone who settles there for consumption can sometimes be sent on a tour. In the basement there are four cinemas and the Stattkino. It also has a library and a variety of rooms that can be used for a variety of cultural events.

Very friendly, prompt and good-humored (women's) team behind the counter that evening. The manager of the bar in particular stood out positively because she even happily and easily fulfilled special requests. The location is simply unique. There is good beer and matching music. I'd love to come back soon!

Good place for schleglen. Be careful, some have a strong right hook, so quick ducking should be trained beforehand. Always fun to schlegle here, gladly again.

The cinema in Lucerne, great selection, good sound and of course a unique ambience, the crowning glory of course is the Bourbaki Bar, before and/or after the cinema. Update: And once again, delicious food before the film, then a nice film and finally to the bar. That's how cinema works.

A good cinema in a trifle lovely building conveniently situated centrally with good local parking. Well recommended with a good selection of English options.

Waited 40 minutes for 4 drinks Vodka Orange was served with Sauser because there was no cranberry juice?? Vodka ORANGE?! The other cocktails are not recognizable either! Not recommended!!! Addendum: The toilet was as bad as the service

GTA 6 and use it before you have a drink over the bar.

Super bad service. They said you had to queue at the bar for cinema tickets, then suddenly the cinema box office opened (5 minutes before the film started) and you had to queue at the back, even though it was already your turn at the bar. When people pointed out that they had already gotten in line, people made fun of it. Never again!

Finally the cinema again. Good protection concept with one free seat each, mask requirement, etc. The cinema is as good as ever, wonderful sound and great picture. It's nice that the films are always shown with original sound. The staff in the cinema and in the restaurant are always super friendly, cheerful and cheerful. Thank you, we'll keep coming back!

It's always great to have a drink here. Cool bar, relaxed atmosphere, for all ages, nice staff, cinema in the basement, sometimes they let the guest area rotate (revolving restaurant type), recommended!

A great program is shown here... no blood/guns/action/Hollywood kitsch, but stories of people and life. Definitely my favorite cinema.

The Bourbaki has a great cinema without a break, there are always great films that are not shown elsewhere. The bistro is worth seeing and has a large selection.

Pleasant cinema with a large selection of alternative film art. The bar also has a large selection of alternative drinks. Edibles are also available on a small scale. With a lot of space, even outside in summer.

80s Party, cooler Sound. Schade nur, dass die Garderoben überfüllt sind. Nicht zum ersten Mal. Für 18.— Eintritt sollten (Winter) ausreichend Garderobenständer bereitgestellt werden. Kunden müssen Mäntel und Jacken auf einen Berg von Kleider oder am Boden deponieren. Die gesamte Einrichtung ist provisorisch und etwas lieblos. Da die Party mehrmals im Jahr stattfindet, könnte man sich wirklich etwas mehr bemühen.
