Bowling West in Schlieren

I've visited this bowling center with a bunch of friends. The spot isn't mind-blowing but decent enough for a good time. What bothered me was how crowded it was; we could hardly hear each other. Overall, a solid bowling center worth recommending.

My visit to this location as a team event was a true revelation! From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted by a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The food I enjoyed was not only delicious, but downright sensational. Every bite was a flavor explosion! But the highlight was undoubtedly the warm and attentive service. The staff was always willing to accommodate my needs and made me feel truly welcome. I can fully recommend this location to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. I have rarely experienced a place that offers so much joy and enjoyment.

Cool disco bowling with the good-humoured Domenico, always opportunities to get shots. From 5 p.m. free parking spaces behind the house (even if they are marked as company parking spaces). Other activities include billiards, darts and table football.

The railways are no longer the most modern. The food with a table grill was something different and very good.

We went bowling here with the company. Various drink bottles were served for the aperitif during bowling, but if they were empty they were not brought back. When it was time to eat, the game was abruptly stopped, which didn't go down well with the teams. Spaghetti fun was buffet style, so help yourself, no problem. But after a few drinks that were carelessly and seemingly randomly slammed onto the table, we weren't asked again throughout the evening whether or what we would like to drink. That's what I call catering with zero effort, respect! This concept didn't convince me.

A little outdated facility. Sympathetically managed. The burger chat in particular is a real hit - simply recommended.

Food tasty but expensive. Bowling is fun. Billing as a group is difficult due to complicated personnel. Staff unmotivated.

Premises are good, nice decoration and interior. However, the staff was incompetent and indecent. You forget an order of 2 drinks in 3 seconds. Unfortunately, that's why I can't give a better rating.

My heart belongs to Bowling West, I'm a fan! We have been regular guests at this bowling center for almost 15 years and are always served quickly and competently, even when the house is full. Many thanks to the absolutely great staff!

The girl on the phone is really aggressive and seems that she jokes about when someone doesn’t speak perfectly German ( I’m a C1 but whatever). I called 2 times and both she was not nice

I find it a disgrace that after a reservation at 8 p.m. (everyone started bowling at around 8:15 p.m. and stopped at 9:40 p.m.) two hours are booked. The bowling pin machine often had technical problems, which can of course happen, but of course that also takes time. If you also consumed drinks worth around 150CHF, that's at the limit of goodwill. Reply to the owner's comment: This review was written a year ago, and the technical problems occurred about every 10 minutes (so the new ropes don't affect me). I also had a reservation for 8 p.m., but definitely not for 2 hours, because I even mentioned that we would play 1-2 rounds. So 8 p.m. to 9:40 p.m. still doesn't add up to 2 hours.

VIP lanes are ideal for a team event

I've come here several times with a man in a wheelchair. The staff is always very friendly and helps wherever they can. So far, all of our wishes have been taken into account and implemented. For example, we once needed a different track because it wasn't suitable for us in terms of space

Expensive, unbelievably terrible staff, rude. Over 90 CHF for a frozen pizza and (based on their counter) 1 hour and a half of bowling. They don t let you know when the hour ticks, so be careful. As if the huge bill wasn t enough, they told us to put the balls back on the rack. Should paying customers be in charge of that??

Staff not very friendly and not very motivated. There was hardly any drink service in the VIP room, we had to take care of it ourselves.

The trains are good, as is the ambience, but they are generally a bit noisy when they are at full capacity. The resti/bar is very good. Kudos to the employees; very friendly and have a speed that deserves applause.

A pity! Yesterday we discussed for 15 minutes and agreed that I would pay the full price (7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.) and the children could start 15 minutes earlier. In the evening my son tells me that they had to leave the train at 8:36 p.m. Although the train was reserved until 9 p.m. and there were no new visitors waiting. Why? Agreement not kept. A good review wasted...unnecessary & a shame 😔

We did our team meal there and I highly recommend the place! Great service, good trains and the food with the table grill is simply a dream!!!! I will definitely go bowling and eating there again!!!!! Thank you to the Bowling west team for the lovely evening!!!

Bowling everything was fine. Pizza is underground. It's not a pizzeria, but for 22 francs you can expect something reasonable.

The Bowling West is very decoratively furnished, has several lanes where you can play, and at the same time it is also a restaurant where you can eat very well. I can only recommend.

We held a relaxed company event at Bowling West with almost 40 people. From the organization to the implementation, everything went smoothly. The center employees are very friendly, courteous and flexible and gave us a very pleasant evening. The end with a spaghetti chat was very tasty - highly recommended. Thank you for this successful evening!

Basically everything was good. The only thing that was a little negatively surprising was that we were charged for 9 people at the spaghetti chat (all you can eat), even though there were only 7 of us. We were specifically told upon arrival (2 hours before dinner) that two of them were unfortunately ill and couldn't come. It was then only served for 7. Unfortunately, we don't know whether it was a mistake or not, as we only noticed it later and the waitress seemed a bit stressed at times - it was also busy. But always friendly. Otherwise the food was good and of course the bowling was fun.

last Friday April 14th 5 hours Played bowling. With the Spontacts groups by Stefan (No.1 Original:-) It was great fun. The employees are very friendly and competent.

Absolutely packed! But good vibe. Fun. Does exactly what it’s supposed to. Lovely staff, working incredibly hard considering the high number of people coming through the door. Great place to have a kids party.

Bowling West is a great address for cool and exciting bowling events. Staff always friendly and helpful. I have been to many events and have always come out happy. Today was again very casual. Thank you very much for this good service.

Very disappointing welcome. The employee at the counter didn't take the time to explain to us. The game begins and the employee doesn't offer us the shoes. Finally discussion closed and no questioning from the staff. Despite a good time, human contact remains very disappointing.

Our game was started without even warning us. We were therefore billed for 20 minutes extra while we drank a beer. The saleswoman doesn't try to question herself and gets embarrassed when I say that it's her responsibility to notify us when she starts the game. Very bad staff. Especially lady with pink hair.

We would have gone bowling with the school today, but no one came and we had to leave again. We came to Schlieren especially for bowling just to leave again. Extremely bad service!!!!!!!! We didn't even get a message. I'll never come again Addendum: we went a second time because we were invited and there were a few incidents the first time. But then it was quite ok

Recession of overpriced is an understatement! The price for the table grill was never justified for 2 such towers where there was only meat at the bottom. Far too little meat for the price I won't even get started on the quality of the meat. And asking 40.00 for a dessert platter like this is completely excessive. For the fact that it was half made up of the Lidl. (Yes, I know exactly these mini donuts) I'm not saying anything about the drinks that were reordered, that's the only thing that was justified. After calculating 5 times, the cost of playing bowling still didn't add up; +/-10.- was charged too much.

A nice place in the northwest of zurich to go bowling especially during the daytime when most other bowling centers are closed. The service is quick and kind and it is suitable for grown-ups, childreb, birthdays, groups or just a duel for two. Definitely recommendable.

The table grill smoke (guests having dinner) is pungent and disturbs when bowling...but pizza is good and atmosphere too!

Rude staff. We were visiting Zurich and decided to go bowling. They didn’t have any lanes, so we decided to sit and make other plans. They had a problem with us sitting on a couple of unused chairs for 5 min to look up a place, because we didn’t have the table reserved Edit: Of course we weren’t preventing anyone from sitting at their table. It was empty, and we were sitting facing away from the table. If the party had arrived of course we’d have moved. The problem was the person kicking us off rudely when we said we’re leaving in a couple minutes anyway

Very enjoyable place for a group meal and bowling. Nice atmosphere

The tracks are running more or less well. It is very loud and narrow, with more than 5 people per lane it gets tight (max. 6 people allowed per lane). There isn't much negative to say about the price. It's a busy Friday evening so there's no chance of extending your booked time, the next ones are already waiting for your train.

We wanted to reserve for 8 people. Only 6 people should play. It is not permitted for a player who is watching to throw. You should then reserve two lanes. Very inflexible, I don't know that from other bowling alleys like Universum!

Great team are always ready and always with a cheeky saying. Good lanes and a nice VIP lounge with separate lanes. Recommended!

There was extreme smoke in the building because the restaurant offers table grills. We were bowling and our eyes were burning! And afterwards you smelled like a table grill... I also find it annoying that reservations have to be canceled 24 hours in advance. If you are rushed like that, a short-term cancellation shouldn't be a problem, one would think. It's not necessarily recommended. Some of the staff were very friendly and the bowling slope is great..
