The worst ribs i ever had. After i said this to the server, she apologized and asked if we would like some coffee or a dessert (thought that was nice). I asked for an espresso, got charged for it. Not worth even to go for a beer. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was very disappointing, even though I didn't even have the opportunity to be a proper guest. The manager was extremely arrogant and unfriendly, which was anything but welcoming. I sincerely hope it was just a bad day because that's no way to attract guests. The location itself is impressive. The atmosphere at the campsite was wonderful and the other locations were friendly and welcoming.

To flee! I was looking forward to eating Ribs... The worst Ribs of my entire life, very dry and without the taste of any marinade! All for 35chf. I pointed this out to the waitress but unfortunately she did nothing :-( What a shame!

The food there is at the lowest level. Pasta was overcooked, cream sauce was just cream without spices, etc. The whole thing for a price of 17CHf. Something needs to be changed in the kitchen. Service was quick and professional

Cool restaurant in an old Sulzer building. Food ok. But it's not the top burner. Ambiance in winter is a bit cool, but cool look. Service fits. Sauces weren't really useful for my taste...

Edit Jan. 2024: It's very noticeable that all bad reviews contain a text/reason and all the good ones (almost all 5 stars) don't and come from accounts that only gave 2 - 8 reviews. Then all new ones come from the same period. A rogue who thinks that reviews were bought here. Review of my visits in mid-2023: I was there for the first time about 7 weeks ago. Apparently the Munich waiter hadn't been there long and didn't really know how to take the order (it took a long time, made mistakes and he couldn't find the items). This should be forgiven if someone is new (but they could have memorized the articles and asked a colleague for help). The last time I visited about 3 weeks ago (around a month later) the same thing: it takes a long time and he types wrong articles - but the bad software is to blame (I'll leave that alone). My beer came wrong (lager instead of wheat) and rather late. The food is ok, but too expensive. At least the taco salad is massively overpriced. Industrial iceberg lettuce, probably store-bought dressing and also the tacos are the ones we know from Coop and Migros. Only the salsa with the tofu is probably homemade (and so far good). But you can't charge 27.- for that when the burger costs 28.-. Quantity was good as a main course. By the way, we were also able to observe the other waiters who were looking for the correct tables or then taking back the wrong drink (so the software?!). The waitress who cleared our table left three plates and then took orders from other guests and forgot the rest of the dishes. All in all, far too bad for the rather higher prices. It's a shame: the beer selection is great and the ambience (especially inside) would be really great. Has been beautifully re-designed. I give the store a maximum of 1 year.

Everything was cold - the price wasn't right

We visited on New Year's Eve and had the New Year's Eve menu. It was excellent. Not only was the food very good, but the service was also extremely attentive and courteous (Fanny). I can highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for the great evening and hope the team continues to have good success!

Visited at lunchtime (lunch menu): It's cold in the restaurant and there's a draft. Food was still moderately lukewarm, vegetables were cold and meat was tough. I ate other than meat because I was hungry and didn't have time to order something new. At least my companion's payment was waived; it wasn't edible for them. Prices are rather high, so you can expect something. Too bad we won't come back...

The Brewhouse in Winterthur impresses with its exceptionally friendly staff and excellent food. The atmosphere is cozy. Highly Recommended!

Top food, very motivated staff!

The location always reminds me of the old days (Villa madness), which was the only positive point. The food was cold and bland, even the French fries weren't really edible.

As a starter I ordered the Chilli Cheese Nachos. The nachos were cold, also de cheese, which was sparsely distributed over the nachos in the form of a bland cheese sauce. Half of the portion went back into the kitchen. For my main course I ordered the Cordon Blue with fries. The Cordon Bleu was quite good, but very small for the price. The fries were an absolute disaster. They went back to the kitchen, bland and limp. This visit was the second to the Brewhouse and the first visit (opening) was already a disappointment. There will be no further visit.

The food served was lukewarm. Service not very chatty, there was no interaction between guest and service. All in all, I didn't really like it.

The food was lukewarm and the portion was so small that after the main course you were still just as hungry as before. Oliver Marco's Cordon Bleue was completely raw in the middle and no new portion was delivered even 30 minutes after it was returned. I would definitely not come back here!!!

Great food, the atmosphere is awesome and the staff are so friendly and attentive. The best thing is they are pet friendly. We came in for lunch one day, then dinner the next day. We'll be visiting here in Switzerland for a month and will definitely be back before we head home to Texas

Very bad service, waited a long time, received the wrong wine and was then accused by the waiter of having ordered it, glasses were dirty. All in all: very bad.

The burgers are rather small - I wouldn't order pasta. Despite ordering al dente, it wasn't al dente and the portion was small. Rather high in price. Service very nice. There are better burger shops in Winterthur - not recommended for vegetarians. 290.- chf for 3 burgers, a vegi burger and a pasta, two beers and two squirts, two cola and a water

We had a great BBQ chicken salad and a great pork knuckle. Large, filling portions, very friendly service.

For this poorly prepared and bland dish, the price-performance ratio is far too expensive. Above all, my friends and I were brought to the table twice with the wrongly ordered food. Simply outrageous!

Service was humorous. Food came quickly, but the price-performance ratio wasn't right. For a green salad with parmesan and 2 small fried feta pieces and salad dressing from the package 25 CHF I think it's clearly overkill. Likewise, a small portion of French fries that are totally over-seasoned and lab rig for 7 CHF is not possible. A carton of beer costs 5 CHF. I won't come back and won't recommend it to others.

I was in this restaurant for the first time. The ambience is exactly what you want on a warm summer evening. The service was extremely friendly, despite communication problems. The food came quickly. It was a shame that the tartare didn't ask if you liked it spicy. But I didn't say anything...my water mole salad was served with gigantic pieces and not much feta. Did I reveal the greens to be spinach? Rather boring, mint or basil would certainly be tastier. The burgers we ordered were very tasty and the portion size was optimal to large. The beer selection is gigantic, but so are the prices. I find it almost cheeky to charge a whopping 11.00 for a non-alcoholic elderberry beer. Conclusion: nice location, good selection of drinks, food selection manageable. Prices very high. Ideal for an aperitif. Thank you.

We were excited to see what the new restaurant was like and had dinner there. Unfortunately it didn't quite suit our taste. For us the food was not convincing. However, due to the location and the friendly service, we will happily come back for an aperitif.

BEEF burger for over 30 chf and don't ask if it's medium or something, fries is an idea, but these fries are the worst thing you can do. That was the second choice, but then I saw the Cordon Bl. which looked even more like a frozen corn dog. Think about eating, no more there

Friendly staff, great location. But the food was disappointing. Burgers around 30 francs are already steep. So we relied on beer spent grain sausage. The 2 pork sausages were (normally) good. The potato salad we ordered didn't deserve the name salad. It lacked any acid. A type of white sauce also lacked seasoning. Boring. It is of course a matter of taste whether you want the bratwursts to be served on a grid with a paper base. The espresso was very good. The predominantly young audience seems to accept this type of gastronomy. For me it's a "no go".

Hello, I suffered a lot Disappointed on my first and last visit to Bewhouse. We ordered 2x nachos with extra cheddar and extra chicken as well as a Corson Bleu. We asked for avocado because the portion of nachos was very puny and didn't contain any cheese. We received a half-cut avocado that wasn't ripe enough, so we couldn't cut it or eat it. Nadine asked for our feedback, to which we honestly said that the food wasn't worth the price (nachos 20.-), whereupon she scolded us and told us that it was her second day and that we were difficult customers . We should rather pay and leave. She tried to make up for it with a tiramisu but when we said that the tiramisu had neither biscuit nor mascarpone, we were called annoying customers. The location is super nice, but the service and cuisine are not worth the price. Nadine insulted and insulted us extremely and I have never been treated like that, even though I worked in the catering industry myself.

- Food was mediocre, it was okay but didn't knock your socks off. - What is a disgrace, however, are the prices. CHF 29.- for a small hamburger, 3/4 of the plate covered with unsalted and limp fries. CHF 33.- for a Cordonbleu, where the finished product in Migros / Coop is larger. We also reported this to the staff but there was nothing more than a shrug of the shoulders. - Beer selection is wide-ranging, you have to leave that behind. But here too, CHF 7.50-11 for a 0.33 bottled beer is just too much. - Service staff tried hard and were also very friendly, but two employees for the (full) restaurant is massively not enough. The beer order was forgotten (Chef du Service also apologized, a big compliment to him) and we had to wait 30 minutes for the bill. The bottom line is that I recommend everyone to spend (a lot of) money at a local burger restaurant. You get significantly better quality/portions. For these beer prices I'd rather go to an Irish pub, where you pay the same but at least they pour the beer themselves.

Very good food and friendly and attentive service. The selection of different beers is made easier by the presence of a master brewer from the chopfab brewery.

Friendly service, still a nice location. But unfortunately the food is not good. The menu is nice and short, which is usually a good sign. But if a burger for 30.00 comes with industrial meat from the freezer, then I'd rather go somewhere else in the future.

Yesterday I was a guest at the Brewhouse again for a long time and I was extremely disappointed. The food was a complete disaster and the prices were disproportionate to the quality. The fries were just cheap, the cordon bleu was puny and I didn't like it to a certain extent, the chicken wings tasted disappointing. The service, however, was first class and the ambience was good as always. The menu is far too small, there are hardly any alternative options and very little vegetarian options. The prices are far too high for the quality offered.

Perhaps the worst quality/price ratio of my life. I am 44 years old and 24 years of traveling in Europe. A burger and a beer for 41 CHF is a shame. The place is beautiful and the service is attentive but do customers have to pay that much to receive absolutely normal things? Spongy, uninspiring and expensive pretzel.

Were there for the first time yesterday and were very enthusiastic about the food, very delicious, the price-performance ratio was right, only the service was a bit too quick with the service. One would have liked to have had a few minutes' breaks between the individual dishes. But I'm excited to see what other dishes will be on the menu.

Visit: March 2023 (dinner) Staff 5/5: The staff was incredibly friendly and very attentive. Food, Drink 5/5: The food (burgers and fries) was very tasty and prepared quickly. The Brewhouse offers a large selection of drinks and especially different beers from different countries. That's really hard to beat. Depending on the beer, the prices are high, but considering that they have to be imported, they are definitely justified. Space 5/5: The restaurant is very nicely decorated and also has a bar. It is also very large (2 floors) and offers a homely, feel-good atmosphere. Conclusion: We felt completely comfortable and well looked after here. We'd love to come back there.

We were there for the Brewhouse launch and had a lovely evening. The food was prepared quickly and the beer selection is great. From the reservation to dessert, everything was quick and easy. Gladly again!

Stopped in spontaneously to try a fine tiramisu. Delicious 😋 and recommended. The beer selection is large and super tasty. The atmosphere is good, this facility makes you feel comfortable and you like to stay or come back. Next time we'll eat here

We visited the Brewhouse spontaneously in the evening without a reservation. The large restaurant was already quite busy, but we had no problem getting a good seat. The service was very friendly and regularly asked about our needs. The selection of beer is huge! Many dishes have a connection to beer or are even prepared with it. The menu offers a manageable selection of different dishes. The quality of the food was good. There is also a bar and drinks. The prices are ok - the portions are generous 👍
