Brezelkönig in Baden

I asked for a butter pretzel. I was shouted at if I could read because there was no butter pretzel written on it. So totally unfriendly service.

The saleswoman seemed annoyed and a voucher in the app for a free pretzel here couldn't be accepted either

Opening times say open from 5, but only offering pretzels from 5:30. The employee seemed rather annoyed. Stupid if you rely on the information and don't have anything for breakfast.

Several times I haven't been able to order a vegan hot dog "unless I wait 20 minutes" (said the lady at the counter) and that at lunchtime! Vegan sandwiches are always not declared correctly or are not available at all. In my opinion the worst pretzel king in Switzerland.

Good pretzels in themselves BUT baked, far-dry pretzels are always sold at full price. Simply unprofessional, it can't be that every 3-4 times you get a pretzel that you can only eat with a liter of liquid. In addition, the staff is sometimes quite unfriendly. EDIT 2022/08/05: Thank you for the detailed answer (+1). To the question: We usually use pretzels with sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds or poppy seeds. We've had this problem with every species over the years, at regular intervals - that's why I wanted to make this known. In these cases, I'm not sure whether the pretzels were in the oven for too long or whether they were baked or baked a second time. In any case, they will be much drier than normal. As you can read in other reviews, we're not the only ones who notice this (see "Cheddar" review). I will happily set the rating to 5 if this doesn't happen again in the future. Kind regards, S. Very unfriendly staff. I had also bought a “To Good To Go” worth CHF 15.00 and they wanted to fob me off with goods worth 12.60.

During Covid-19, not wearing the mask properly and not wearing gloves when preparing food is not possible!! In addition, my hot dog was punctured twice and so all the sauce was spread out in the paper bag.

Actually a good location, only during the CORONA pandemic should the employees wear the mask STRICTLY and not pull it up briefly in front of the customer... PLUS wipe their nose briefly beforehand, then prepare sandwiches with these hands... disgusting. Has anyone observed this too? Please thumbs up. May 3, 2021

I really like this business. I especially like the hot dog

Although the location is good right next to the train station, there are a lot of people walking through there, which sometimes conflicts a bit with the queue in front of the Brezelkönig. But the food is, as always, very good! It's great for buying something to eat just before the train

I love the Brezelkönig products, unfortunately my favorite Cheddar Bretzel has been very burnt lately and is no longer as appetizing. I noticed this in many branches and therefore took something else.

Please adjust opening times in Baden! Was there now and it is closed!

Hardly any selection left an hour before closing time. The last pretzel was bone dry.

For me, Brezelkönig's hot dogs are among the best ever. Some of the employees could be a little friendlier, otherwise everything is good.

Some of the employees don't really speak German well, which can certainly be annoying.

If a Bretzelkönig Location has a well Trained Employee, well then you can go there, i know this Location since 2014, and thier Staff changes almost on a monthly Basis, shure they are poorly paid, and i can imagine that standing at a Railway Station must be pretty stressfull, thats why. Bretzelkönig is a Franchise Chain, so thier offered products are allways the same, regardless of the location. Sometimes the Employees are not able to Speak English, so be aware of that, but you can allways point at what you want, and you see the Prices, so no worries here. Would i recommend this location, yes absolutley, thier Hot Dogs are very tasty and with 5,50,- CHF they are not overpriced.
