Bretzel Koenig being who they are and a train station store, yes, their items are quite pricey for what they are. But, the bretzels themselves are rather good overall, and I absolutely do not understand the negative reviews about the staff, I've been there plenty of times and they are really nice! An alternative I'd recommend if you're on a budget is to reserve surprise bags there via the Too Good To Go app, you get plenty of food for a very affordable price, still delicious! Here's an overview of what I've tested and a few recommendations to try out 🙂 - Planted curry baguette: Absolutely delicious, very filling sandwich with plenty of flavor and a variety of ingredients. - Tomato mozzarella baguette: delicious too, crispy and very textured. - Avocado sislerli and sislerlis in general: Pretty good, tasty! - Cheese bretzel (sandwich): good but nothing exceptional for the price - Normal bretzels: obviously good but not quite the most affordable ones - Hot dogs (not sure if they have them in fribourg but they do at other places): Delicious, give it a try! (note: I highly recommend taking it without any sauce, it would mask the taste of the bretzel!) - Rösti bretzel: Nice to try for the fun of it but not that enjoyable as it is cold. - Sweet chocolate bretzel: Not worth it, too sweet and not quite different from a pain au chocolat taste wise. Go for something salty if you want to go there

As a loyal customer and customer of Too Good To Go, today, while collecting a TGTG basket, I unfortunately forgot my phone in a friend's car. Unable to validate my order, I tried to chat with the manager using the employee's phone to find a solution. Unfortunately, the response was that I had to validate the order or it could not be delivered, and she hung up on me. I didn't even get a chance to say a word. It is shameful. I hope that a change of manager will be considered, otherwise I no longer plan to frequent this establishment.

I regularly buy pretzels which are very good at Geneva and Lausanne stations. Big disappointment in Fribourg. The inside of two sandwiches was dry with wilted vegetables

I really don't understand the bad reviews on this Google page. I've been going there for a year at least twice a week and I'm never disappointed: crispy pretzels, delicious and always fresh. And always cool staff I suspect the people who give bad ratings are competitors who are afraid of Brezelkoenig's success. Regardless, I highly recommend this place!! 😇

04.14.2022 I bought a too good to go basket. Pick up time was 7:30 p.m. But when I arrived the saleswoman told me that the time was wrong and that I had to come back at 8:30 p.m. Because on the eve of a public holiday, it is open until 9 p.m. and it must sell as much as possible. The saleswoman had to call her manager who did not want to listen to us and kept cutting us off. There were 4 of us who left empty-handed. I find the customer service to be poor. If you make a contract with this house, and you make a mistake on the time, it is up to you to assume responsibility and not the customers!! I don't recommend going there at all. Even if the Brezels are good. Better to enjoy it elsewhere!

Is normally a great food solution but this location regularly has problems taking card or TWINT.

Nothing beats a freshly made Brezel from no other than the king of Prezels - Brezelkönig. This one at the Fribourg train station can be ”difficult” to find as it’s hidden inside the bus terminal occupying a tiny spot but this doesn’t mean inferior products... Highly recommendable in deed.
