Wonderful atmosphere and great food! Service was not on the level of what we would have experienced in the American South - to be honest: it was far from it. Paying three CHF for tap water is just silly. When you order cocktails for CHF 20 you just don't want to pay for tap water. In fact, it properly annoyed us.

Yesterday we were there as a larger group with our friends and kids. What is strikingly positive is the friendliness of the staff, who really put in a lot of effort to look after the kids. The atmosphere of the brisket is harmonious and inviting. Food-wise, we absolutely love the beef brisket and the pork belly (a must have). Portions are very generous for the price (so we would rather skip starters next time). We'd love to come back.

Was here for the second time now. We had the large platter Grand Slam for three people. The Pult Pork and Pult Chicken were good, but the highlight was the brisket. Next time I visit I would only order one portion. The ambience is nice, the service is very nice, but the noise level is very high.

I’ve never been to a proper southern bbq but this one was really good! The food was really tasty and it was quite soft the meat! I would have moved a bit more Smokey taste! Also service and atmosphere really good overall so I would for sure recommend it! It is something different! Overall happy!

I was hoping for too much. The brisket was good, the rest was pretty tasteless and the ribs were far dry. The 3 sauces were also a joke. I won't even start with the price...it's just Zurich. Overall = okay, but nothing worth going back for now. Unfortunately. It was also extremely loud, the old school hip hop didn't really fit the setup/ambience and the service was a little overwhelmed.

Portions absolutely excessive, complete waste. It's also a shame that you can't order a platter for three people. It seems to me that greed for profit has won

Food was OK and very filling. You will definitely be full. Unfortunately, some things on the plate came to the table already cold. Actually a “no go”. Unfortunately, the seating is very tight and the music is so loud that normal conversation is exhausting. The staff makes an effort, but it is clear that they are not trained service personnel. A pity.

Great ambience and incredibly tasty food rounded off with delicious sauces. The friendly staff completes the excellent culinary experience. Again any time!

The barbecue pit in Zurich of course should never be compared with some of the finer South Carolina barbecue. But it must be said, if this restaurant were located anywhere in the deep south, it would come up with a strong three star, rather than the four star we have chosen to give it. The service was prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere looks the part. When you walk through the door, the smell of hickory in the air makes you feel right at home. We ordered the Texas platter, which allegedly would contain 600 g of Three types of barbecue meat. The highlight was definitely the pulled pork which had good flavor and juices. However, the brisket was quite dry, with at least 50% fat vs. meat. The ribs were completely without flavor, and again at least 50% fat. We ate them last and cold. They were actually quite unpleasant. This is partially due to the fact that the platter is served on an aluminum tray rather than cast-iron, which would hold the heat of the food. We felt Fr.100 was a bit much for what was on offer. We also would’ve appreciated a nice craft beer on tap, but that also was not to be found. Essentially, what you have here is a yuppie barbecue inspired restaurant. Not much authenticity, at a premium price.

Excellent meat quality, friendly service but constantly stressed - hardly any time for us. Bread baked too much today, side dishes great. Way too loud!! Poor staff - exposed to noise for hours.

Great BBQ, great service, nice restaurant! For all these points we would come again. However, the music is WAY too loud and bad. The portions and side dishes were also quite small. A bit stingy for the price asked.

It was superb! We all shared the “Grand Slam” platter. We were 5 but we ordered for 4 people and it was way too much. The restaurant has a bit of a bar vibe as they also serve really good cocktails; hence, you can just chill and enjoy some beer as well. I’ll come again. Service overall was OK. Once more people came, we did not feel they had time for us anymore (for more drinks, the bill, etc.)

The food was absolutely incredible and we will come back again ! The brisket, ribs and pulled pork simply melts in your mouth and just explodes in flavours. I highly recommend checking this place out. The place is beautifully decorated and you really do feel this Southern American barbecue atmosphere. My only small remark is that the waiting times were quite long, especially when waiting for the check to arrive.

It‘s not Franklins but tasty! Def recommend! The old fash is good for a restaurant. They could country up the music playlist a little. I’m not expecting George Strait but playing some mainstream country wouldn’t hurt.

We have visited this place yesterday with a table reservation and were promptly seated by the host upon arrival. However, we then experienced a 15-minute wait without any interaction from the staff—no inquiries, no drink orders, nothing. Despite numerous staff members, including the host, passing by and acknowledging our presence, we received no service. The restaurant was far from busy, with many tables vacant and the staff appearing unoccupied. There was no indication of any unconventional ordering system, such as placing orders exclusively at the bar. After waiting for what we felt was a sufficient amount of time for the establishment to attend to new guests, we decided to leave.

Brisket is probably one of the best pieces of meat I've ever eaten. Smoked, served with style, generally great food and well timed service as well as homemade ice tea - fantastic. Also great for business lunches.

Delicious American barbecue food, loved it, really

The food is a clear 10/10. They not only have the flagship “meat” under control but also the side dishes and drinks. I've also heard from colleagues that the prices are too expensive. Yes, it's not cheap. However, for the quality you get, the price is reasonable. Service is super friendly, but you sometimes had to wait a long time until you got the attention of the staff, could order or the table was cleared. Felt slightly understaffed. It's also a shame that you can't pay with Twint. Of course that's not a must, but it's still a shame... The rustic look in this old industrial building somehow fits the theme of BBQ. Only the music was really too loud. This is not an individual opinion, but also from several people at the table who hardly understood a word. If you have enough time and don't let the slower service stress you out and don't have a problem with high volume, I can only recommend a visit. We won't be there for the last time either.

Despite making a reservation early, we were seated at a small table for two next to a few. The food was okay but still overpriced. The furnishings are certainly unique and therefore the ambience is also special. Our service was very friendly and accommodating. She was constantly smiling and did a top job. Musik too loud, everything else fantastic

General atmosphere is actually great. But the music was MUCH too loud to have a decent conversation which was a real shame in such a place and over dinner.

About my fourth visit to Brisket and I always enjoy coming back. This time I came with my mom and it was her birthday. A few days before, an employee called me and asked if we would like a small Geburi brownie. Which I found very accommodating. The food was great as always and the service was also very nice. However, there is always a draft near the entrances, which is a bit of a shame, but they try to counteract this with thick curtains. I always enjoy coming to Brisket

The meat is good, juicy and comes from the smoker. The chilli fries as a side dish were generous and very good. The portions of the meat platters (for two people or more) should be a bit more generous and fuller given the price point. The place gets very busy in the evenings, reservations are highly recommended. As an owner you can like hip-hop, no problem. It doesn't quite correspond to the Texas BBQ atmosphere that I know. However, for a BBQ restaurant you can turn down the volume significantly, you almost have to shout at each other to have a conversation. Plus point: Contrary to the menu being in English, the staff spoke Swiss German.

We were running late due to trafic and were glad the Restaurant called us to confirm to hold our reservation. We were a bit sisapointed to share a table with another pair of guests but our waitress was very friendly and nice. The food was okay but expensive.

Not recommended at all! Overpriced and overcooked meat. It wasn't satisfactory. The woman who served us was very incompetent and also rude and unreasonable. No more!

It was way too loud for us. The two of us went to Brisket to celebrate a birthday, but the music was so loud that we had to shout at each other and at some point it was so tiring that we couldn't talk anymore. The food came on metal trays, so the food got cold extremely quickly. The mac 'n cheese came in a gratin dish, but was not baked in it, it was just for decoration. So it got cold so quickly, which was extremely unfortunate.

Best BBQ in Zurich, from an American! Big space, great for big parties. Extensive cocktail menu. Food menu allows you to try a lot of different meats. Service is great, and just an awesome ambiance. Highly recommend 😊

Music cool but way too loud. The service ladies need to be better trained. When she poured the cola into my glass, 50% of the carbon dioxide was already gone. Food was ok so far, only the spare ribs were too dry. We found 9.50fr for a bottle of mineral water to be a bit overpriced. In total I had 400g of meat, which didn't really fill me up

Food was really great. Service is particularly in need of improvement because of the male service employee. There wasn't even a question about new drinks or whether everything was okay.

Had the platter for two and was not disappointed. It is a bit on the pricier side and oftentimes very crowded, but the food is generally worth it!

Because we had eaten typical food for lunch, in the evening we decided to come and eat meat. We take a grand slam, which is a minimum for 2 and costs 54 francs each for a kg of meat, and we get brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, pork ribs and pork belly, with bread, gherkins, coleslaw and chips with chilli. So overall the meat is very good but I must say that the brisket had a lot of fat, and the pulled chicken as well as the pulled pork were good but a little dry at times, the ribs however were very good and with barbecue sauce and pork belly I must say my favorites, as well as the chili con carne chips which were phenomenal. Fast and professional service and the cost I must say is a little high for me but not living here it could be average for Swiss salaries. I would happily go back for the pork belly and those incredible chips

Anyone who likes meat will love this place! The food is fantastic and you'll be full. The service is good, but they are a bit stressed during rush hour. The ambience is good, but it is a bit noisy when the house is full.

If the waitress says 'you can work that out yourself', I don't think that's okay. We wanted to split the bill for drinks and food - but the waitress' answer was that I could work it out myself.

Always a fan of brisket. After yesterday's meal for two, I have to attest that the price/performance ratio has become massively worse due to the increased prices. “Manageable” portion sizes at hefty prices. Quality of the food was OK. Service too. But the prices are very “Zurich”.

First we had a very tasty cocktail. Afterwards we decided on the largest sample platter. I can highly recommend the record, so you can try everything. Finally there was a warm apple cake with ice cream, simply delicious! Since I am a big BBQ fan and smoke a lot at home myself, I was given an insight into the kitchen. The smokehouses were impressive. We can't wait to go again.

How can it be that burgers are no longer made at 10 p.m. when the store closes 1.5 hours later, i.e. 11:30 p.m.? How is that possible? Very unfriendly staff, first of all we waited at the entrance for 10 minutes, even though there were enough free tables that we could see from the entrance. The older waitress with black hair was very unsympathetic and almost cheeky. We paid 50 francs per person for meat which was okay, nothing special at all. Price-performance ratio in this restaurant is by far one of the worst I have ever seen. The bill was given to us "incorrectly" for 4 people. Overall, very unprofessional staff and food that is not worth it at all for the price. I would prefer not to give a star at all, not even that is deserved. First and last time.

The food was served in a metal tray as if we were there Jail. I was most looking forward to the mac n cheese. Unfortunately, it tasted like it had been cooked for a long time and had been quickly warmed up in the microwave shortly before it was served. Really lousy! The atmosphere was very pleasant.

I can't understand why the already very high prices were increased again. 27 Fr for a burger without any side dishes is bordering on exorbitant.

Honestly, disappointed with the service. We went for Thanksgiving... Tables were free, yet we waited 30 minutes to order a drink, asked for bread for the 2 year old we were with... Twice. When asked where the changing tables were, the hostess pointed behind the coat rack and everyones backpacks and said behind there and left us... So we moved all the coats and climbed over the bags. My friends took everything as take away as the service just took too long. Brisket is very much a hit or miss... This was definitely a miss and I am sad to say I don't think we will be back. I promise I am not much of a complainer... I know this happen and things get busy, but this was really awful. I hope you take the feedback well.

Service was very cold. Hospitable is something else. Food had 2 pieces of metal in it. One of them was in my teeth. We were offered the 3 colas in return. Wasn't proportionate. Food is usually pretty good, but this time no.
