Super delicious cappuccino and cake, whether with oat milk or lactose-free. Some patience. You get a work of art. You can also watch an exhibition or read a nice book.

We made our lunch stop on the MTB Tour 307 at BSINTI. Here you can get everything your heart desires. The BSINTI team was very friendly and attentive. We ordered BSINTI snack platter and a tarte flambée. The snack platter was very nicely presented and the bread was wonderful, the tarte flambée was super delicious. We enjoyed the whole thing in the beautiful garden. If we hadn't had to drive any further, we would have liked to have stayed longer. We really enjoyed our time at BSINTI.

Such great coffee and even nicer people :) It was such a nice experience as we were warmly welcomed by the whole group. Soooo great. Highly recommended, very fine homemade iced tea and fresh, fine pastries and cakes.

Best coffee spot of Braunwald for sure. Cozy interior, friendly staff, good vibes. But keep in mind: Swiss prices, so not cheap.

Nicely located and actually a nice concept, with an interesting photo exhibition, magazines and newspapers and delicious cake. However, overpriced and the service was unfriendly. Real hikers don't seem to be welcome, hence only two stars.

After a rainy morning in Braunwald we enjoyed a warm soup at BSINTI. We were warmly welcomed and the food tasted very tasty. The cappuccino was lovingly made.

This cultural café offers almost everything that combines culture and cuisine and makes it a recipe for success: an exciting selection of drinks, homemade delicacies, reading material to read and buy, as well as an exciting ambience of modernity and Brockenstube flair. There is also a pretty outdoor area and a tidy children's corner. The raclette you can make yourself at the table is definitely recommended. However, what we noticed a bit negatively again on our second visit were the hostesses who were rather “guest-shy”. From the lack of a welcome greeting, to the minimal dialogue and disinterested eye contact, to the hesitant making recommendations and asking questions. Unfortunately, we also had to make these observations when serving other guests. A little more warmth and genuine hospitality would perhaps be good. And maybe you should also reconsider the self-service option, which somehow doesn't work for me in this place..?

Very comfortable, like in a living room, you can read there, books and magazines are available, there is always a picture exhibition, the furniture is very individual, good selection of patisserie, large selection of tea and coffee, a place to linger and feel good

Sehr gemütliche Terrasse mit Schaffellbesetzten Stühlen. Lädt eine in der Sonnen zu verweilen mit einem guten Buch, das auch noch im Café ausgelehnt werden kann. Sollte das Buch nicht ganz so spannend sein – geniesse doch die traumhafte Aussicht in die Glarner Alpen.

Viele gmüetliche Stunden durften wir hier schon verbringen. Bei Galerien mit wunderschönen Bildern, tollen Abend-Anlässen oder en Adler-Pfiff wenn wir das Bähndli gerade verpasst haben. Vielen Dank liebe Barbara!

Gemütliches Café mit einer Auswahl an Snacks, leckerem Gebäck und viel Lesestoff. Empfehlenswert sind auch die speziellen Tees. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich.

Good selection of cold drinks for after a warm hike. Several of my companions had various different cakes, which they were very happy with. Nice outdoor terrace for when it is sunny with a very pleasant indoor space when it is not. Great place to go especially if you have to wait for the funicular.

Ja das Bsinti ist alles und macht dabei einen sehr guten Eindruck. Gemütlich sitzen, die immer wieder spannenden Ausstellungen geniessen, was feines essen und trinken. Am Abend dann noch ein Konzert oder eine Lesung hören, ist alles hoch über dem Linthal möglich. Wäre es nicht so weit, ich wäre sicher ein Stammgast.

Is it a coffee shop, an event location or more of a concert hall? Yes, the Bsinti is everything and makes a very good impression. Sit comfortably, enjoy the always exciting exhibitions, eat and drink something delicious. In the evening you can listen to a concert or a reading, anything is possible high above the Linthal. If it weren't for that, I'd definitely be a regular.

You'll be surprised to find such a high niveau of cultural events offered in this tiny village high up in the swiss alps. Here a former store was transformed into a cozy cafe with familiar atmosphere, where literature, music & fotography meet and interesting people of all classes mingle with the locals.

Interesting little place with local food on offer, including beer and wine. Coffee is decent and staff are friendly. Is family and children friendly with an area for children to play. Sells an interesting variety of mountain books (in German). Basic German language is recommended, but some of the staff do speak a little English. A nice cozy hangout in Braunwald.

If you're looking forward to a fattening but probably the best cake and want to enjoy a coffee in a cozy atmosphere, you've come to the right place. In addition, there is not a small selection of books that you can read. I can only recommend it because of the extremely friendly staff. We waited for the train and were able to stay warm until it came. Definitely deserves 5/5 stars⭐.

A wonderful reading café, no better place to kill time

Very pleasant place to have a drink with something sweet or savory. Very nice: there is a modest library, beautiful (photo) books for sale and always friendly staff. When I'm in Braunwald, I like to come here!

Wir sind nach einer Wanderung um Braunwald bei diesem Lesecafe vorbei und haben uns sofort in ihn verliebt. So ein charmantes Cafe 'mit warmer, schöner Umgebung und Ambiente mit diversen Büchersammlungen. Sie haben einen tollen Kaffee und Sandwiches serviert. Liebe es!

Wir wollten kurz etwas trinken da wir auf die Bahn ins Tal warten muusten und hatten nur 25 Minunten Zeit. Das Bsinti war als einziges offen in der nähe der Bahnstation. Die Bar ein Selbstbedienungskonzept was ich sehr schade und nicht ganz passend fand. Die Dame hinter der Bar nahm sich dann auch sehr viel Zeit. Vor uns wahren "nur" noch 2 weitere Gäste an der Reihe. Dennoch haben wir fast 10 min. Gewartet. Absolut schön. Bis wir dann unser ersten schluck genommen haben war dann auch klar dass wir eine Bahn spähter nehmen müssen. Das wahr aber nicht so schlimm denn die Sommerterrasse ist ein absolutes Highligt des Kaffees welche zum verweilen einlädt. Leider hatte die Dame hinter der Bar dann keine Zeit uns eine Rückantort auf unsere Verabschiedung zu geben da Sie gerade mit Singen beschäftigt war. Fazit: Bedingt freundlich, träge Bedienung spezielles Ambiente, tolle Terasse und sehr teuer.

Wir waren schon einige Male dort mit der Familie zu Besuch. Bei der Ankunft fühlt man sich nicht so willkommen. Die Bedienung hinter dem Tresen hält sich zurück mit Freundlichkeit. Ansonsten ein tiptop Café.

An einem frühlingshaften Samstag zum Zvieri eingefunden. Beim Bestellen sagte uns die Bedienung, dass wir schnell entscheiden müssen, das Sie am Kochen sei... Also gaben wir unser bestes. Einiges wurde vergessen, dass uns dann etwas borstig nachgereicht wurde. Am Schluss wurden die nachgereichten Konsumationen nachverrechnet. Kontrollieren konnten wir deren Richtigkeit nicht, da offenbar in diesem Restaurant keine Quittungen ausgestellt werden. Schade um das Lokal. und die Gäste.

Sehr gemuetliches Lokal mit verschiedenen Sitzgruppen oder Couches. Grosse Auswahl an Zeitungen und viele Buecher zum Lesen oder auch zum Kaufen. Auch die Kuchen sind gut.

Perfect to hang out for a while, and on occasion, play a board game with the kids. I've also enjoyed evening presentations and movies there (in German).

Sehr schöne Austellung, angenehme Atmosphäre. Nette Bdienung beim gut sortierten Buffet mit regionalen Produkten. Ich komme wieder!

Nice café with pasteries and a few small dishes. it is a culture cafe with a library. Just go there when your around!

Wir waren an einem schönen Augusttag in Braunwald auf Wanderschaft. Zum Abschluss haben wir Freunde getroffen, die Ferien in Braunwald verbrachten. Im Lesecafé und der Kulturbar "BSINTHI" haben wir uns zum Nachmittagsapero getroffen. Ein kreativ eingerichtetes Café mit viel Charme und Witz. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, konnten kleine Häppchen mit einem guten Glas Wein so richtig geniessen. Vor allem ist die Fotoausstellung zum Thema Alpine Fotographie, verteilt im ganzen Café, eine ganz gute Idee. Aber auch die Sonnenterasse lädt zum verweilen ein. Und nicht zuletzt, Gratis-WLAN funktionierte ausgezeichnet.

Im Rahmen der Gourmetwanderung wird für den Nachtisch das Café Bsinti besucht. Der Bsinti-Kuchen (Schokolade) war ausgezeichnet und die Kaffeespezialitäten sind köstlich. Die Idee eines Lesecafés und Kulturbar ist super.
