Excellent welcome. Fabulous meat. Excellent service. Value for money 10/10. Take the time to come and eat at least once. My only regret, but it's personal, is the industrial mayos that deserve to be homemade, but really a detail and in no way detracts from the quality. I highly recommend.

It would be great if there were "slates" with smaller pieces of meat. A small format (100-120g for example) and a larger format for big eaters...

Very simple place, but the welcome is cordial, even with a lot of customers, everything goes wonderfully. We look forward to returning there to discover and taste other dishes from the beautiful menu.

If you want to have a good time in the company of warm people, go eat at the Buffet du Funicular. The meat cooked on slate is a delight and the mussels are generous and delicious. Simple dishes but made with the heart. The small salad buffet contributes to the conviviality and the bill for 3 people is very reasonable. Add fast service and the good Italian humor of the owner. Relaxed atmosphere induced by Mrs. and Mr. Bosses. The mussel season is so succulent to experience, the slates and their meats are perfect, salad buffet perfect and well stocked and all with impeccable homemade sauces. A must!

I had ordered a fillet of beef on a slate and when the dish arrived I found meat that had been tenderized, confirmed by the boss. Too bad and they made me pay.

4.5 stars A friendly, committed host couple shows how honest gastronomy works, home-style and authentic. Be friendly and attentive. The menu is extensive and the hottest item seems to be the hottest item. Anyway, the meat was delicious! Gladly again. 👍

I finally wanted to eat a horse steak and what could be further than doing it at Funiculaire. As you would expect, it was truly fantastic. When I asked what kind of horses they were, Enrico explained to me that they were exclusively Australian and Canadian horses that were only bred for meat production. And therefore should not be confused with our riding horses.

I chose the beef steak on the hot stone and I have to say it was the best and most tender beef steak I have ever eaten. The service was great and the boss served the steak on the platter himself. It won't be the last time I eat in this very good atmosphere.

The star is awarded because there are places available to customers, otherwise no reception. Reservation for 6:15 p.m., opening hours 6:00 p.m., the waitress who saw us leaves you outside in good weather and the boss opens the door at 6:15 p.m. supposedly for private reasons. We preferred to cancel our reservation! Avoid for non-commercial reception!

Very nice bosses. The slates were great! Very delicious and good quantity. We had a great time. Salad from the buffet was a nice accompaniment with them.

Dish of the day OK, quantity of side dishes low, but the salad at the buffet (only fresh) and the soup were a very appreciated addition. Plus the meat was really good. The negative point is the children's dish. It would be nice to add a little vegetable with this. In addition, a child under 3 years old ate everything and took a little bit from my plate. So, slightly small portion, if you come with older children.

It's always a pleasure to eat at the Buffet du Funicular! For more than 25 years, the welcome has not changed nor the quality of what we eat. The bosses are warm and sometimes teasing with us, which brings a family feel while maintaining great professionalism in their actions. Always concerned about the comfort of their customers, they ensure that everything goes well throughout the meal! Never in all these years have I been disappointed with what I have eaten, whether it was meat, fish or dessert! A big thank you and congratulations to the bosses for your kindness and perseverance!

Friendly staff, pleasant terrace, no waiting for dishes. Decorated plates (too much?). Perch fillets (dish of the day) correct. Boletus tagliatelle completely failed: without salt and overcooked, they broke while we rolled them with the fork. I left them, despite them being among my favorite dishes. Decent smoothies and ice cream. Very disappointing the lack of interest in my comments (which I made following the question asked to me "didn't that suit you?"). Overall, the message was, that’s how it is with us, and that’s it. Of course, no commercial gesture to apologize, not even a coffee.
