Burger King in Basel

Ordered food from the machine. Payment at checkout selected. After 15 minutes, out of interest, I ask what it looks like. Then the cashier remembered that I had to pay and only from then on was my food prepared, which took another 10 minutes. Waited a total of 25 minutes... Completely incompetent. Fast food works differently. The last time I ate here...

Unfortunately, this is the second time within a week that my order has been issued incorrectly. When I said that I had ordered something else, I was told that this was not on the receipt, even though it was there. Sorry that the staff doesn't understand German is also an unreasonable expectation. They are also unfriendly and disorganized.

The waitress forced me to leave a 5 star rating, she even almost took my phone in her hand. I was really embarrassed. I'll never do your food again.

This branch doesn't deserve the name Burger King. Staff and service below average, always, unfortunately always, wrong side dishes in the burger. Also not very friendly and lack of language skills. Most of the time the place is dirty and untidy. It gives the impression that there is a lack of staff and staff with catering experience. Of course it's not a restaurant, but for 20.- something can be expected for a mediocre menu. The ordering process is just as catastrophic because the ordering machine has a lack of options, often does not work and is absolutely unsuitable for older people. It's a shame, I've been a regular for over ten years and it used to be delicious and cozy here.

I would like to do something there, I actually NEVER go to Burger King but today I thought I would go there for once (Basel SBB) I regret it!!!! I've never seen anything so disgusting. I ordered a burger but it was all but no Birger!!!! Why the hell does the meat have such disgusting stuff in it like there are intestines or holes in it disgusting!!! I informed the manager, he didn't understand me, he spoke French, I told him that I wanted my money back, but he gave me a new burger. I then told him again that I wanted my money back!! Ert the 2nd time he gave it to me!!! I've been working at McDonsald for years and I know exactly what's behind the kitchen (hygiene, standards, quality) but that has nothing to do with quality!!! Nobody was upstairs in the restaurant and all the garbage bins upstairs were completely full so it was really disgusting!! Since I work in the fast food chain myself, I should do a round at least every 30 minutes to check and clean everything!!

Was at BK Basel and placed my order. After 20 minutes I still hadn't received anything, so I asked the manager. I have to get on the train. He explained to me in French that my order would be prepared soon. When I said I had to get on the train he said it was my problem and I wouldn't get my money back. Conclusion...no food received and 30 chf gone. Pure rip off!!!

This Burger King ALWAYS has problems. I've never seen anything go as normal. Card device not working. The machine's printer doesn't print receipts, half of the machines are unusable. Something new every time. Disastrous, management should really get this under control. The poor employees always have to deal with the horrible temporary solutions.

We gave a different order than what was ordered

That was the last time for a long time. Unfriendly staff with unfortunately only minimal knowledge of German. I would have thought that if you had a job in Switzerland with customer contact, you had to know at least a little German. From what I read, this wasn't just a problem for me. With my poor French I was somehow able to describe my problems to the “boss”. The food was also more than below average. It's a shame, more would probably be possible.

I will never eat there again. Staff very unfriendly. I've eaten there 2-3 times and ordered without bacon and it always came with bacon. Afterwards I was blamed for not mentioning it or some other excuse.

Intrusively encourages customers to give 5 star reviews. Comes with a QR code that asks you to scan it without saying what it is. As soon as it was scanned, the employee pressed my phone without asking to give it a 5-star review. She then promised a free drink or ice cream, which no one received. The card payment at the order machine was declined. I then paid at the cash register. The toilet code that is on the Z It said “Order slip” and repeatedly didn’t work. French fries were super tasty with all the sauces that you can order. The Whopper with bacon was also delicious and definitely better than the Mc's competition

Of 12 order machines, half of them work...! Ordering is only possible via these robots! It's lunchtime and the BK is full & everyone is waiting angrily for their food, as you now have to wait 15 minutes for your food even at fast food chains..! I wanted to point out to the underpaid employees that the machines are broken, but they don't even speak broken German... I missed my connecting train, I'm extremely annoyed and I was also sorry to eat! I was in the BK for the last time!!!

Today, February 7, I visited the Burger King in Basel, Bahnof and I must say that my experience was exceptional! As soon as I entered, I was greeted by a smiling and helpful team. The cleanliness of the restaurant was spotless, which immediately put me at ease.

After a long time, Burger King again at the SBB Basel train station. We could have saved it too. In our opinion, quality has declined rapidly. Period of approximately 1 to 2 years. No idea why! Burger lukewarm, rather dry, upper part of the bun dissolved during eating. Fries were the best and warm too. However, we are disappointed with the rest.

We often eat there, our daughter had to pee and they wouldn't let us use the toilets. Really bad customer service! That was the last time in BK!

VERY BAD SERVICE, DON'T EAT IN THIS BK! The staff was unfriendly and "forgot" to put the wrap in the (damaged!) paper bag. When I turned back to complain, the other staff just put the wrap in the damaged bag without any excuse! I refused and asked for a FULL NEW serving or to be refunded! They accepted but they disppointed me a lot : it seemed that they "forgot" the wrap on purpose for ripping me off!!! Besides, I noticed that all the staff are French Arabic from nearby Alsace (St-Louis) and that they have no enthusiasm in working. We ordered 4 double chicken burgers and 1 beef double burger with chicken wings and a big capucchino and 4 cups of what macdonalds call Frape. I didn't enjoy my burger, it just wasn't ok for me and there was nothing special about the drinks. It was also too unnecessarily expensive . I use crutches but still had to go upstairs for a seat. It wasn't convenient at all. It's not worth the trouble, definitely not coming back.

In 2019 I gave it four stars. Now, in 2023, the quality of the Veggi Whopper seems significantly worse to me, with a chemical aftertaste. The cleanliness on a Saturday late in the evening is more than poor and even some of those "great" order displays don't work. Hardly any staff available. Overall poor performance! My occasional visits to BK are probably over. The other providers in the area can be happy.

Placed an order shortly before 10 p.m. 1 x milk coffee and an MC Chicken together FR. 1:30 p.m. take away. So when I was sitting on the train I drank the coffee.
