Aberrant! Extremely expensive price even for snacks supposedly offered by the boss. A simpleton catch like you rarely see. Absolutely avoid!

Really great welcome with a very good atmosphere. This time, we went after a day of walking for a little snack because its setting is magnificent and very peaceful. The menu is small but everything is very good and homemade with love. I really like this cabin in winter and summer. ☺️ You can choose to privatize the restaurant and/or the cabin for an evening with friends and even stay there to sleep. In summer, you can access it by walking, and in winter by sealskin, snowshoe or ask them to come pick me up on a snowmobile. ⛄️Then, after a good meal, you can even go sledding back down. 😍 I highly recommend this place.

No visible price, at the customer's expense. False presentation of the dish of the day. Lower quality of food. Invoice for things presented as offered.... Very disappointing and expensive.

We slept in half board and we were alone at the Cabane de la Tieche. Mauro took great care of us, thanks to him. The site is magnificent with a superb valley, a beautiful waterfall and a Bisse nearby. We had a great time.

Superb place accessible with a short walk of about an hour, the result is splendid! Simple Valais meal, but the service is exceptionally friendly. We will definitely come back !

Avoid: the welcome is cold, the bill is charged to the customer and the quality of the food varies with the mood of the boss.

Una Estrella es masiado para una lugar where you roban el dinero. Y no te dan un buen plato. One star is too much for a place where they steal your money. And they don't give you a good dish. Never again😡

It's a complete steal... 😡 I paid for a dish that they didn't deliver complete, nothing was priced. We paid 25.— for a sausage and a quarter! tomato

Never set foot in this cabin again! Much too expensive, the menus are not displayed. For a normal veal sausage and a quarter of a tomato (we were told there were no more potatoes?), we paid 25.- per plate! very bad for tourism! Never again, to be absolutely removed from Tripadvisor and Google

This October 14, 2021 we thought it would be good to go up to the Tièche cabin under this beautiful autumn sun at the strategic crossroads, large signs announced to us super welcome, free aperitif, warm welcome open all day, and upon our arrival we found door closed with a piece of paper stuck on the door "closed" period, we will therefore no longer go!

We were a group of eight, our first visit was positive. All of us understand that the logistics of running a restaurant in such a remote location requires tolerance for a limited menu and to make a profit, one can't expect it to be cheap. The spectacular view is a great attraction and the food and service was ok though in itself not necessarily a reason for a return visit. Given our previous experience and the limited options, we decided to give the restaurant a second chance. I was the first of our group to arrive, at around 12:30. While the owner chatted with another guest, he totally ignored me. After around 10 minutes, he finally gave me the "ok" to sit at a table. He then informed us that the only option left for lunch was a buffet salad. There was no menu listed with costs as had I seen that I would need to pay Fr. 25 (approx.) for the worst salad I have ever seen in a restaurant, I would have skipped lunch. We all felt cheated and poorly served. We will not visit this restaurant again nor recommend it to anyone else. We were a group of eight people, our first visit was positive. Después de subir desde Colombire, siguiendo el Bisse du Tsittoretit, valió la pena los últimos 8 minutos de subida bastante empinada para llegar al encantador restaurante chalet. El propietario nos recibió con una copa de vino fresco. Las ensaladas y la meseta Valasiane (carnes y quesos) todos locales y deliciosos. Definitivamente volveré con otros visitantes.

The worst cabin experience of my life... I couldn't believe it, the prices are exorbitant and the quality is more than mediocre, you will be charged 5.- for a tea, 15.- for a salad buffet, 25. - for röstis, and more than 50 for a bottle of gamay! And the cabin is accessible by car!! Authorized theft.

5 francs for tea with small half-filled cups for a cabin accessible by car: it's excessive. Very mixed welcome, a certain feeling of being disturbed before hearing that we should be grateful that the cabin can accommodate us in the rain; we were 7 mountain guides who will probably not return to this cabin anytime soon, and even less with clients if it is to offer them this type of experience. Too bad, exceptional place.

En week end entre amis avec enfants, après une marche dans un décor incroyable, arrivée à la cabane avec un accueil minimum. A peine installé qu’on est pressé à passer à table(18.10 pm). La serveuse, blessée, doit descendre en plaine pour se faire soigner, et une dispute violente chargée d’insultes et de coups nous pousse à faire appel à la police et à quitter les lieux à 19.30 et trouver à se reloger. Tarif demandé : ahurissant, nous n’avons rien laisser. N’y aller sous aucun prétexte!

Lamentable! À éviter à tous prix!Service très lent, cuisine et vin de piètre qualité, et plutôt pas bon marché... Et en plus, on paie en liquide et sans facture... Cerise sur le gâteau, si on tombe un jour où le patron reçoit des copains, c’est foutu...Ne pas monter exprès, mais le paysage vaut le détour.

Écrin enchanteur sur un alpage en bordure de forêt! Le charme s’arrête à l’extérieur. Nous n’avons pas eu droit à l’accueil du patron, mais celui d’une serveuse stressée et semblant presque agacée de voir du monde encore arriver. Vu l’heure tardive de 1430, il nous a été proposé de profiter du buffet. Formule à 30CHF où vous pouvez vous servir à discrétion. A première vue le bon plan, mais à mieux y regarder une arnaque. Certes vous pouvez vous goinfrer de salades vertes, d’haricots ou de patates, mais la viande séchée et le fromage sont approvisionnés au compte-gouttes. Et 5 CHF les minérales et la bière. Donc 2 eaux minérales et 2 buffets, 70CHF! Dommage, parce que l’endroit pourrait être magique.

Strongly not recommended unless you like sleeping in the kitchen because of the loud snoring and other very annoying noises coming from the manager's room (separated from the common dormitory by a simple wooden board!). I will never set foot there again. Plus, the prices are outrageously high!

Amazing view but unfortunately very rude staff. On the day of our visit they obviously had all forgotten their courtesy, hospitality as well as their smiles somewhere down in the valley. After trying to get hold of a waiter for 15min, we chased them to finally understand that they did not have food anymore and so we left. Very unfortunate given the location

This place is magnificent only because of its view and its exceptional location....as for the rest....it deserves nothing.....high prices for mediocre quality....both in terms of food and buffets ...not to mention the boss's welcome....very rude when we point out to him that the bill is not fair.....in short, a nightmare....a place to avoid in the future....

Seltsames Berggasthaus, sehr chaotisch, überall liegen und stehen leere Flaschen. Es wirkt sehr unordentlich, dreckiges Geschirr türmt sich, Chef sitzt nur und trinkt, Servicepersonal auch. Angebot sehr klein und überteuert.Wer auf der Wanderung nett einkehren will, soll besser in die nahe gelegenen und sehr gut geführten Alpage de scex oder ins Le relais de colombire.

Called to make a reservation, said he would send confirmation back via email, never did. I called him other 2 times to remind him to send confirmation, he repied both times "yes of course will send it tonight." never did. Speach less...

De prime abord le patron paraissait sympa, mais une fois son verre de bienvenue servi, il s’est montré détestable, stressé, à la limite de la politesse. Les salades étaient majoritairement sorties des boîtes, l’assiette valaisanne frugale pour 25.-, alors passez votre chemin.

Lovely place with some nice mountain food! You can also come here for a nice dinner at night or a fondue.

A little expensive but very nice

Lors d'une randonnée de 5 jours, nous avions planifiée de rester 1 nuit à la cabane de la tièche. Arrivé sur place un mardi vers 16h, le serveur nous a gentiment accueilli et nous a montré le dortoir. Vers 17h, le patron vient nous voir sur la terrasse pour nous dire que nous serons seul ce soir et qu'il nous laisse les clés de la cabane. Dans notre forfait nuitée nous avions droit à un repas du soir et un petit déj. De ce fait nous lui demandons comment se passe les repas. Il nous demande ce que nous voulons manger. Au vu que nous devons faire nous même nous demandons une fondue. Il nous demande 20.- de supplément vu que nous ne prenons pas le menu du soir.......qui de toute façon ne sera pas servi vu qu'on est seul et qu'il y a pas de cuisiner. pour le petit déj nous avons dû nous débrouiller tout seul, aller en cuisine, sortir les choses,etc.......l'hygiène de la cuisine est vraiment déplorable, l'accueil, la façon de faire, bref tout est un véritable scandale, une honte pour le tourisme de montagne.

Wir wollten uns während der Wanderung in der Cabane verpflegen, haben 1 Cola und 1 Mineral bestellt. Ich bin mit einer 20er-Note bezahlen gegangen, die mir der Patron aus der Hand gezogen hat und mir dafür 10.- zurück gegeben hat. Ich finde 5.- pro Flasche grundsätzlich nicht extrem zu viel, v.a. bei einer Cabane, aber alles andere hätte noch viel mehr gekostet. Eine Quittung erhielt ich nachher aber nicht, das finde ich frech.

Jacky is to die of laughter! Welcome more than friendly. Good moments of relaxation before starting again. The food is excellent !

I shall Point here my version of this place and why did I found it excellent.... for a mountain cabane.1.The way here îs amazing, the views over the Mountains, the silence, the snow, the fact that you can feel you all alone în The universe. Actually i came here to make peace with myself.2.Food îs good, as good as it can get în a mountain cabane. The fondue was too much for me and the small plateau valaisane was enough to stop my hunger until i was served the Main course.3. Service, well here you have two options, you either like the owner or you dislike him. There îs no middle way. I liked mr Jacky, as some how he reminded me of myself. Same story:either you like me, either you don t. I read the previous comments, and, i must say from my stand Point it would be better to ASK FOR A MENU before you order, this way there îs no way you feel tricked. I ve made everybody a service, by posting the menu of foids and drinks, or at least i hope so. 4.For me the Journey was more important than the destination, and i just thought that Because of a small missunderstanding like the '' menu story'' the whole Day can be ruined.... both sides.5.For the first Time în my life i had a free Coffee în Switzerland and the plateau valaisanne, which they did not charge as it took some Time till the kitchen opened and till all the food for 4 persons (at the other table there were 3 more guest, as hungry as I was) was prepared.And i got to learn from mr jacky that în valais they break the bread into pieces, instead of cutting it with a knife. 6.The owner îs a valaisanne, he made some small jokes, but i was fine with it, i laughed about them and tried to behave like i was a guest îs someone s home. If you are looking for perfection în The heart of the Mountains, or if you cannot cope with some jokes, it s better to avoid this place. ME, i was fine, and i would be a lier to say other story here, after for 3 or 4 Times i ve answered to the owner that all îs ok.To end my comment, i ll post a song, you can listen to it while watching my pictures, and undestand that i ve came to this place to make peace with myself:Hans Zimmer& Jivan Gasparian-Duduk of the North,or you can just forget my comment, anyhow sometimes i think i was born backwards. Magnificent stay, the real mountain. The raclette was exceptional!

chaleureux acceuil, apéro "offert", café "sur la maison". On a consommé une grande assiette valaisanne (25 CHF) une petite bouteille (37.5) de Fendant Coline de la Planzette, et un digestiv maison à base de myrtilles, prix du toal 83CHF! Pas de quittance imprimée.....

Un service lent et amateur (on nous annonce après 20' qu'ils n'ont pas de quoi faire une assiette valaisanne !!!), une "grande salade mêlée" ridiculement petite et fade, le patron qui nous agresse pour aller aux toilettes ("Vous êtes assis où ?")... Lamentable

Accueil agréable de la jeune femme qui assure le service, contact chaleureux avec le patron qui vous fait goûter son rosé de pays et entretient généreusement la conversation, carte simple mais efficace, que demander de plus à cette halte sympathique au sommet du bisse du Tsittoret ? Un site à couper le souffle ? Justement, il est là, savourez !

Die Preise sind nirgends angezeigt.Der Besitzer ist sehr aufdringlich und gibt vor, Ihnen ein Glas Wein und Aufschnitt Platte anzubieten, die Sie bei zweimaliger Bestellung sowieso bezahlen müssen.Kein Beleg, nur Barzahlung, Gesamtkosten sind auf einem skizzenhaften Stück Papier geschrieben.Das Essen scheint nicht frisch, einfach aus dem Gefrierschrank genommen und aufgeheizt.Leider ist es die einzige Option auf der Route.

Nous avons tenté deux fois d'effectuer l'expériecnce de la canbane de la Tièche. Pour cause de mauvais temps cela n'a pas pu êtrer possible la premiere fois mais le propriétaire ne nous a pas prévenu. Au lieu de cela il nous a fait uniquement diner dans un vieux restasurant en bas des remontées. Seconde fois il ne s'est même pas présenté. Conseil: ne rien payer avant d'avopir effectuer l'expérience. Faire très attention à Jackly a little crook!

Wir haben auf unserer Wanderung Zwischenhalt gemacht und ein feinstes Teller mit Fleisch, Wurst und Käse genossen. Dazu etwas Weisswein in schönster Bergwelt. Was will man mehr?

Reservation vergessen, Unterkunft sehr dürftig und schmutzig, nichts entspricht den Bildern auf der Home-page, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis schlecht. Schade, das Tal ist wunderschön, aber wir machen fortan einen Bogen um die cabane de la Tièche.
