Café Bar Maihölzli in Hünenberg

Cozy cafe, very nicely and spaciously decorated. If a new wind comes through the village, I have the feeling with the café. Great espresso and delicious homemade things👍 The service is always friendly and very accommodating☺️

Great coffee, nice staff. If you need to eat gluten-free, you won't find anything on the menu, unfortunately.

Very nice restaurant, cozy atmosphere, delicious snacks and good coffee, child-friendly. Unfortunately, service is often not attentive, an older lady is forgetful and scatterbrained (takes orders incorrectly, brings the wrong things, asks x times) - but always friendly. Desirable: opening hours are longer on weekend evenings.

Please respect the glue on my mailbox and stop polluting the environment with flyers.

Super nice service and very tasty sandwiches & the best cappuccino

Last week I visited Café Maihölzli for the first time. The ambience of the café impresses not only with the stylish furnishings, but also with the warm and charming staff. We were served quickly and courteously by a young lady (Svenja). The food was extremely excellent and the coffees were prepared with a lot of love and decoratively. We were absolutely satisfied with our experience at Maihölzli and can only warmly recommend a visit.

Cool interior vibe, authentic cappuccino and ultra fresh breakfast items including sinfully delicious caramel cheesecake. Very friendly and attentive service. This place definitely won us over.

This industrial-style, chic and cozy café & bar is a wonderful place to linger. The cappuccino, the latte macchiato, the cinnamon rolls and the cheesecake with mango, everything was delicious. But there are also alcoholic drinks and salty foods, including vegan ones. The homepage reveals more. It's something special to have a restaurant like this here centrally in Hünenberg. It is always open except Tuesdays. The service was very friendly during our visit, tried very hard and was a bit forgetful twice, but it wasn't that wild, as it was also very friendly. For my personal taste, the seating should consist less of wooden tables and wooden chairs. But there are two more corners with a sofa and an armchair. The small children's play table has such a seating area. We definitely come here regularly. Top.

As an old Hünenberger, I am pleased to see that such an enchanting café has opened here. It's sensational that vegetarian and vegan palates are also pampered. The cappuccino is authentic and delicious, the vegan muffin is wonderfully airy and wholesome. If the origin of the food is now declared as hopefully regional, fair and sustainable, I would be happy to give away the whole starry sky. Either way, the little detour is worth taking. The bar is new in Hünenberg, but very nice. Atmosphere and service are great. Central location with outside seating. Limited food options, like sandwiches, croissants, cakes and usually something additional during lunchtime. Small play area for kids is available inside with a kids' table with toys.

Very nice and child-friendly coffee. Even has vegan alternatives which I think is great!

Very nice restaurant. Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. What do they do when the place is full? The work processes are a catastrophe and the speed, a snail travels faster. You can tell you have no idea about the hospitality industry.

LOVE it! Fantastic coffee, kind people, welcoming atmosphere and the cinnamon pastries will blow your mind. Will definitely be back soon :-)

Went there for lunch and a café and loved the concept! The food was very tasty, there are fresh and regional bowls every lunchtime during the week, which impressed us not only visually but also in terms of taste. Staff super friendly and attentive and the coffee is also excellent. A recommendation to everyone for an inexpensive, fresh and healthy lunch in Hünenberg with fine drinks, TOP :)
