Cold border staff and bartender stare at us without smiling. Expensive food and in very small quantities. In addition, I had a food allergy even though I gave them my list of allergens. Their fries are brown and dry, too toasted. The small piece of fish is poorly cooked...a little taste of rotten egg. We are really disappointed. Too bad the place in the forest is quite nice. Not recommended :(

We chose this café to organize a drink. We appreciated the decor of the place, the old bistro tables, etc...the food was quality, as were the drinks. The warm welcome and friendly service.

There was a lot going on that day. Absolutely understandable. There was a family and loving atmosphere there. A reason to take a break with a hot coffee. I spontaneously decided on a crêpe with chocolate and was amazed at how great it could taste without sugar. Why? Everything was homemade with a selected dark chocolate that enchanted the mouth with a tasty cocoa content. The service was very flexible and friendly. It is worth it .. Much joy! ☺️

Magnificent place, very friendly welcome, adorable service staff... The children were served before, we appreciated this attention. However, the dishes are tasteless and overpriced, the salad with fish is very poor (3 breadings chasing each other with a sparse salad) for 26.-!!! Fortunately the desserts were very successful. I recommend this beautiful place only for coffee, desserts and children's dishes. Don't take any adult food, it's very expensive and tasteless (tasteless pesto, tasteless anchovy sauce, how is that possible?).

Pleasant setting to take a break, drink a coffee or have lunch. The smiling regulars, accompanied by their dogs, make the place friendly.

Avoid at all costs the salad from Café de la Tour with very dry crispy chicken, a braised salad, 5 olives, 1 cherry tomato and 5 rings of red onion. The staff still listens to criticism but really what we look for in a salad is freshness!

I ate well there but I found the prices of the dishes offered on the menu a little exaggerated. A flank steak cost 30chf with some vegetables and fries?!

Rediscovery of the place without reservation after three years and the change of owner. While many tables were reserved, we were seated and served quickly. The service is courteous and efficient. The menu (with only local products) makes you want to come back. The crispy chicken and fresh fries went down well. The tip top crumble. Overall excellent experience on this naturally shaded terrace that we share with the local birds. Perfect for families. Certainly one of our best addresses in Geneva. Well done to the team.

Pleasant service. As for the food, it's a different story: the beef was very average and the butter was not homemade (or didn't seem to be, taste and appearance wise). The vegetables on the plate consisted of one and only one grilled (and overly grilled) eggplant. Dessert, a chocolate tart which was not homemade, too bad. I came there, I saw it, I won't come back unless the cuisine improves because the setting is nice and authentic.

Lots of waiting, very unpleasant waiters, especially the one who I think is the boss who sends us off and when there is an error on the order, no excuses. Except, the young man who was very friendly and very polite, a real welcome, thanks to him for saving the trouble. Going to a restaurant is supposed to be a pleasant experience, if you're not happy running a restaurant that's not our problem

Catastrophic experience, the waitresses were friendly but the kitchen, with only one choice, a mixture of grilled meats, was poorly cooked, sausages almost raw and lukewarm inside, not great for pork. Almost uncooked beef skewers… we sent the dish back to ask for additional cooking, then a second time or the cook simply refused…. We found that really disrespectful. Accompanied by potatoes which were also not great. Salad with nothing particularly good. All this for an exaggerated price considering the quality. To avoid.

the wine is much too expensive, 35.- for a local red of 50 cl so 70.- a liter of local red is the price of a vintage Burgundy...... excessive!

Arrived by chance during a Sunday walk in the Bois de la Batée, delicious dish of the day (croziflette and small endive salad), quick and pleasant service. Warm environment. We had a great time, thank you.

Very good cuisine at a reasonable price, in Switzerland, and close to the animal parc La Batie and a huge playground.

We visited last Sunday and I have only but good things to say.Service impeccable, really good fondue and beautiful surroundings.

After a funeral, received like children, completely incompetent staff, we had to change tables twice!

At 1 p.m. no more specials of the day....while the terrace was only half full. A la carte, aiguillette with fries and vegetables...good, but nothing extraordinary! With a bottle of sparkling water = more than 41chf.... As for the service, two waiters, one of whom, probably the boss, in order, the third bordering on arrogance... I came, I saw and will never come back.

Bad service, the boss was unpleasant, rude and disrespectful. she made us understand at 12.40 that the table must be free before 2.30, because she was expecting a group!! We are very disappointed and outraged by this type of behavior. 4 service employees (Students or summer jobs) gradually asked us what dishes we wanted, one employee did not know how to give us an answer for the daily specials, mixing up the answers!! Basic dish... no taste... And service to be desired... 15 minutes after ordering, on a cold plate our perch fillets were served, not very cooked, most of the fillets (9) were bland plus they were there had leftover fat!!!! The fries were frozen (half soft, half dry) and as an accompaniment 1 half tomato, really not good, no visual research, for 26 francs a plate…. Quite normal for this type of restaurant when the kitchen team (cook and kitchen help) takes the time to smoke a puff of cigarette during service... In addition you have to pay for the small pot of tartar sauce, not included in the dish!! Too expensive for wine in a 50 cl pot…..32 Frs Too bad because a pretty bistro with a pleasant shaded terrace, the setting is really very nice.

Very (too?) friendly and not very efficient welcome. I was a bit bothered by certain remarks from the service staff (I ordered a “lemonade beer”, I was told “they say mixed”). Otherwise the setting is great, the dishes are good and well served. And the prices are correct.

We spent a weekend in Geneva, we were looking for a nice little place to let our dogs run around and we came across the tower café, the setting is idyllic, in the shade and cool. We sat on the very beautiful terrace after a walk on the esplanade, firstly for a drink and then we stayed for lunch. The staff is very welcoming, friendly throughout the service and smiling. We repeated the experience the next evening and it was just as pleasant, both for the taste buds and for the serenity of the place. We will come back if we are in the area! We highly recommend the tower café!

Excellent welcome in this pretty inn in a very friendly bucolic tavern-style setting. We ate the evening grill accompanied by delicious small vegetables browned in port as well as tender new potatoes. Very good place for a simple family meal on the terrace! THANKS!

Impossible to eat outside, the terrace was made for drinking, it's hot and we have to eat inside, lousy I don't advise you to say go.

Invited for a sad occasion obviously, I didn't have the opportunity to try the menu but the place and the staff are so friendly that we want to go back. (so, another experience to come)

We placed an order which never arrived. When we asked about it the person who had taken the order had apparently gone home. We placed the order again and eventually when it arrived one thing was not correct so had to go again and ask for the right thing. Not sure if the lady I spoke to was the owner or manageress but was not helpful and impolite. Hopefully they were just having a one off bad day

Best enjoyed with a coffee and croissant on the foresty terrace! The service is always good and swift, but I haven’t tried much of the food menu.
