Café du Marché in La Chaux-de-Fonds

Really nice neighborhood café, tastefully decorated

One of the oldest cafés in Chaux de Fonds dating from 1884. The latter has kept all its soul. We enjoy cheesecake while drinking an aperitif and various wonderful fondues and planchettes.

One of the rare neighborhood bistros that has developed over time. There has recently been an annex which is a small restaurant called "La Gommeuse" and which specializes in cheese-based dishes. In the morning from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., you can count on Pierrot's good humor.

Friendly cafe; especially on Wednesdays and Saturday mornings, because of the fruit and vegetable market, as well as different arisants. Otherwise, bistro in the old town frequented by regulars.
