It was once my best colleague and my favorite restaurant. She wanted to have/plan a big party with you in the summer and wanted an offer. Since January, despite calling to ask what the offer looks like, nothing has been heard... Very disappointing...

One of my favorite restaurants! Very great, attentive and lovely service staff! The boss is always present and personally wishes the guests a good appetite. Great selection of dishes, simple but sensational home cooking. You can tell that everything is freshly cooked, from the warm fried bacon on the salad to the delicious freshly pounded cordon bleu. The price-performance ratio is very fair! The large dessert menu is also almost unbeatable! I just find the ambience to be nice and homely in an older style. It has a large outdoor area for eating outside in the summer and even a separate smoking dining area for smokers. I can only recommend it to everyone!

We were here for lunch. Fast conditions, food was good and the price for the lunch menu was very fair. There is a parking space in front of the restaurant.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Unfortunately, the food is standard and nothing outstanding. Map looks like it's from the 80s/90s. The best thing to come here are the ice cream coupes. Like the food, the ambience has remained “standing”. Even gentle renovation can't help much.

It was posted on the internet on December 31st. Open until 10pm but at 3.45pm we were told it closed at 4pm. It was a bit of a shame. But we still got a cup.

The food here is simply delicious! I really can highly recommend it. There are so many fantastic dishes to choose from and a huge variety of ice cream menus. Honestly, I can't get enough of it. So if you are looking for good food then you definitely have to stop by here!

We had to wait 45 minutes before we could pay.

Were there this Sunday at around 30 degrees to celebrate my birthday with 12 people. Service was completely overloaded, sometimes even rude. My chocolate cake was bland and noticeably warmed up in the microwave. Coffee was ok, but nothing overwhelming. The Schöggeli are also the cheapest from the CC. The menu advertises strawberries and vermicelle, but does not mention from when to when these will be available. I was only told that this was available seasonally and this is certainly not the case now. In the most unfriendly way. The employee never knew who had ordered what, which in my opinion would have been possible in a simple way when taking the order. If you don't want to eat what you can eat everywhere else, you're in good hands here, but unfortunately it's not right for me.

A real insider tip Super delicious food, good, honest and seasonal home cooking. Very friendly staff who fulfill every wish. Price/performance ratio is right. Large portions at fair prices. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but unfortunately the toilets are not, you have to go down the stairs, so one star is deducted for the ambience. Otherwise the ambience is good, bourgeois and cozy, there is also a smoker. We would be happy to come back any time :-)

The food at Max & Moritz is very good. The service is very friendly and even special requests that are not on the menu are fulfilled. There have always been very good coupes here. You can tell that the restaurant is older. A visual upgrade, especially in the toilet area (in the basement, access only via stairs) would be appropriate.

IMPORTANT: I ​​just noticed that I made a mistake here. The rating goes: Wurst and Moritz at Escherwyssplatz in Zurich. For my palate, Wurst & Moritz serves the best currywurst in Zurich. However, a few days ago I tested the bratwurst with onion sauce. And that was nothing. The plate was cold, the sausage and sauce were lukewarm at most and the fries were oversalted. In terms of price it was absolutely ok, but what good is that if it's not delicious?

We were there one afternoon for coffee and ice cream, the restaurant was well attended. Unfortunately, when we entered we were not greeted by any of the four service ladies present. We looked past the somewhat sticky table because we were looking forward to something sweet. The large selection of coupes seems to be the restaurant's specialty, which would also be fun if the ice cream wasn't of inferior quality. Chocolate sauce for Denmark from the squeeze bottle, what a shame.
