Café Perroquet Vert in Biel/Bienne

So, we made a little discovery yesterday. The setting is really very beautiful. There is no menu in English but that is part of its charm. The staff is really attentive (to every little detail) 👌👌 top So we had the scallop carpaccio and the entrecôte (medium) The food is really of very good quality 🤤 and of course calvinus beer, not from Biel but it's still Swiss (Geneva craft beer)

You can experience absolute madness in Café Perroquet Vert in Biel. The restaurant, which looked rather inconspicuous from the outside, turned out to be a true delicacy oasis. From food to wine to dessert it was perfect from A-Z! We weren't here for the last time. I also really enjoy the cigar lounge on the upper floor. As well as the liqueur that specializes in the restaurant. Medium to high price range

Superbly decorated and warm Parisian café restaurant. The waiters are not only friendly but also competent. From the appetizer to the dessert and the tartare, everything was perfect. Recommended in Bienne after a visit to the superb Swatch-Omega museum. Catendo

We ate an ice cream in this café and were very satisfied. I've never had anything so exquisite. We tried rose ice cream and violet ice cream and it was wonderful. The waiters are very accommodating. The furnishings from 1860 are something very special. We will come back.

Nice welcome even though we had not booked. Excellent food and the young waiter was impeccably kind and smiling. The boss comes to greet the tables and comes regularly to see if everything is going well. The prices are a little high, but every now and then it's worth it!

Very nice atmosphere and super friendly and courteous service. The quiet, rear garden terrace, shaded by large trees, was wheelchair accessible and ideal for enjoying the delicious food - amuse bouche included. 😋 The “Green Parrot” is highly recommended.

Superb experience. A “Parisian” café in the city of Bienne. The menu is small which for me is a guarantee of freshness and authenticity.

Delicious food but a huge wait time. We arrived at 7:15 p.m., the starter was served at 8 p.m. and the main course at 9:15 p.m.…. Before having dessert we asked if the waiting time was also very long... and it was. Apparently it's a personnel problem (not enough employees...). So we left without dessert even though we really wanted it. It's still surprising to fill the restaurant to capacity if it doesn't follow me in the kitchen. Especially since we still pay a certain price for the dishes. It was better to fill the restaurant than half full in order to ensure service. All the tables next to me also complained. Restaurant not suitable for babies. There isn't even a changing table... Food: 4 stars Service: 2 stars Customer experience: 1 star

Excellent for coffee in the morning, unfortunately disastrous for the meal this Saturday evening. Massive delay, neglected service and very limited prices for entries. Too bad because it was well cooked otherwise. It was exceptional, we were told. I will go back there to convince myself.

The food was good but not great for the price/performance ratio. I ordered my meat medium rare and I got segnon. Unfortunately, the staff only speaks French and no German or English, which unfortunately made communication difficult when choosing the menu. The restaurant itself is really cute and rustic and has a great charm.

Sophisticated...reminiscent of the colonial era, for me it was a simple breakfast with a cup of cappuccino and a croissant...The male waiter's outfit corresponds to the ambience and the 5-star requirements. The boss (presumably) was rather casual...

Eat like God in France - only better :-). If I could give this 6 stars, I would without hesitation. Interior and service fantastic. All high quality ingredients, fresh, fait maison down to the sauce. Best service in Biel. Nowhere in Biel can you eat entrecôtes better than here. Without the Corona Schwurbler poster at the entrance I would even give it 5 stars.

Absolute highlight – I have rarely eaten such good French dishes in Switzerland. Lots of attention to detail in the interior, on the plate and in the service. This is also extra class! If you want to go on vacation for a short time, you can spend an evening here and you will find what you are looking for: à bientôt!

Excellent food but one star less for the setting. If the brasserie area on the ground floor is very welcoming (currently closed!?) the pink lounge upstairs where we ate is sorely lacking in charm. Harsh lighting, outdated tapestry and tiny leaning table.

The bistro is very pretty but the room upstairs is as awkward as it is beautiful, 60s style, a maid's room from the Eastern Bloc. Top-notch food and service more sparse than efficient, count on 75.- per person.
