Cafe Restaurant Seeblick in Münsterlingen

Restaurant which belongs to the Münsterlingen Clinic. The ambience is appropriate but it is enough for good food during a hike or bike ride. Lake view. Wheelchair and stroller accessible. There is also plenty of seating outside. Only open from midday on Saturday.

As an employee, I was a regular customer there for many years. The food is good and healthy, the view is great. Price is ok. Unfortunately, I have to say that I have currently cut back on my visits there. The portion size no longer appeals to me. I can understand that the main course is rationed, but I have been disappointed several times by a measly side dish. I can't understand why there isn't a little more rice or potatoes even when asked. I think the other costs are more important than the bare supplements. Unfortunately, I've often left the cafe hungry recently.

It's canteen-style, is located on the hospital grounds and is used by staff and patients. But it has a large outdoor area. Self-service, but you can choose different menus, and a salad buffet. But the food is very good.

There are bizarre Covid flowers there; I was visiting a patient on the premises, there was one person next to us in the entire cafe and I was then graciously allowed to have my coffee inside. However, a certificate check was not required. It's also very strange when one side of the tables is taped with a no parking sign. You don't have a distance of 1.5m at the table either and it seems a bit awkward, like other measures that I have already experienced in the Wil Clinic, for example. The main thing is that you can claim that you have taken action. Sense or nonsense, it's not that important... The coffee was good, the atmosphere was more like the entrance hall of a school building. It's okay to stay for a short time, if you're allowed.

Fresh and cheap. Service was friendly and polite.
