Café Restaurant Wyden in Winterthur

I'm a regular at Cafe Wyden. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the food is beautifully prepared and tastes delicious. A menu package is offered every day, and there are also special menus to choose from. And on Wednesdays there is always homemade cordon bleu. 👍

It's a shame that you always have to make a reservation to eat, so it's almost impossible to eat spontaneously. And it's not open on Saturday.

Nice cafe! Good homemade tea and, according to my companion, very good lunch! Unfortunately the chairs are a bit narrow. Not so good for overweight people. The armrests cut into your thighs. Otherwise very pleasant there. Nice people good atmosphere! Unfortunately it is not possible to eat there in the evening. The kitchen closes at 5 p.m. This is not good for people who are only looking for something in the evening. But the lunch portion is big enough. You can choose between the daily menu and a few other dishes. E.g. if you prefer to eat vegetarian. There is no menu like in a normal restaurant, it is the Brühlgut Foundation. A building for older and disabled people where they can live but non-residents can also eat lunch. Prices are ok.
