Cafè Schleppun in Scuol

Very nice café, very friendly service and the cake is great!

We visited Cafe Schleppun on a sunny day in September so we could enjoy sitting out on the pretty terrace with magnificent views from the castle hill to the valley and surrounding mountains. The menu is a simple selection of snacks and drinks, but our sandwiches were beautifully presented and tasted great, made with fresh local ingredients. Service was very friendly, helpful and efficient, and the whole atmosphere of the cafe was very welcoming. If you are visiting the castle (also highly recommended), or if you are just passing through Tarasp on a hike through the beautiful countryside, make sure you stop off here for a light snack and a cool drink to help you on your way.

The restaurant is located below the castle. Great to reach with a great all-round view, it's also worth taking a look at the neighboring garden. Cakes and sandwiches with cheese were very good. The cheesecake was one of the best I've had so far. The price is completely reasonable, the service is totally respectful and quick.

Simple coffee with a nice terrace. Good for a short break before or after visiting the castle. Fine homemade cakes, but overall not a large selection.
