The only brand where I could (finally) find a type of coffee that was round in the mouth. No bitterness and no acidity, like in a restaurant! Thanks to the good settings of my Delonghi Primadonna soul, coffee No 7 (70% arabica and 30% robusta) gives a very surprising result from a bar filter holder machine. Thank you café Trottet! And above all, don’t change the recipe for this No 7 coffee!

Amazing coffee, express delivery and great customer service

I purchased a Baratza coffee grinder from Trottet about 10 months ago. Unfortunately, the grinder broke down a few weeks ago while still under warranty. Seeking assistance, I initially contacted Trottet through their website's contact form, but received no response for a week. After phoning the store directly, I was given an email address to contact. To my surprise, Trottet's first response was a rude accusation, suggesting that the issue was caused by low-quality coffee beans containing stones, despite not having any evidence. I assured them that I use high-quality beans, and they continued to redirect me to another company called Belco for after-sales service. However, Belco informed me that service is actually provided directly by Baratza. Since opening a ticket with Baratza it has been over a week without any response, leaving me uncertain about when or if my grinder will be fixed. Mind you, according to Trottet’s FAQ page on their website they claim they directly provide service for Baratza machines which might be a mistake but I find it misleading and far from the reality I experienced. This lack of transparency and the subsequent passing of responsibility have been highly disappointing, making me reconsider future purchases from Trottet.

Beware of the scam: they sold me a used professional Jura machine which died after 3 months. I am sending it back for repair. After 1 month they sent me back a machine in a thousand pieces claiming that that's how it arrived at their house. I explain to them that if this were the case, it is up to the person who receives a package to take steps with the post office for repairs. Since then, radio silence. Customer service hangs up on me and it's impossible to get a refund for the machine. I directly informed the Director François Trottet who visibly endorses this attitude. Company to avoid at all costs. When calling the post office, they indicate that they often have problems with this company. I don't think it's for nothing that Jura stopped working with them. Look at the many 1* reviews with the same experiences.

compatible Lavazza Espresso Point ®* capsules were supposed to be much better than Nespresso compatible capsules (larger weight and more hygienic). Result: since we have the right to make "Nespresso" capsules we have tried (without saying it) to discourage customers from using the "old" capsules: no more automatic machines. Trottet went from family-owned to commercial in no time.

I am thinking of one of my suppliers located in Ticino, who, if I order before 5 p.m., delivers to me the next day. Trottet Meyrin-Nyon it takes 3 days. So far nothing exceptional, but Trottet knows how to differentiate itself on one very specific point. An after-sales service which deserves the medal of mediocrity, but which is undoubtedly only a reflection of the values ​​of its society. I would like to point out that I have been a customer for around fifteen years during which I bought 3 machines and coffee of course. I admit that I didn't really like the answers given after the breakdown of the first machine, which occurred a month and a half after the end of the warranty. “It’s a punctured hose. We do not repair this type of breakdown, you must buy a new machine and you owe us 45.- for the quote. » This time it is a machine purchased in February 2021. We drop it off on a Monday at the shop. On Tuesday we receive an email. “A spring operating the percolator is broken. Quote: 35.- for the part + 160.- for 1 hour of labor, this breakdown is certainly repairable, but the price of the repair is worth more than that of a new machine. Please confirm with us if the repair needs to be carried out. » Worth more???!!!! And when is the warranty???? Machine purchased in February for 69.-, repair cost 240.- (inc. quote). Not wanting to waste time, and convinced that a good direct explanation will allow us to find a reasonable agreement, I telephone the after-sales service. I quickly go over the answers of the employee who says she doesn't follow the rules, and doesn't have managers "on hand" but recognizes that in my place she would be angry too. She undertakes to discuss my file with Mr Trottet. When the news did not arrive, I had to call back 4 times in 8 days to finally get an answer. Proposal for a “commercial gesture” 2 possibilities: 1- You come and collect your machine as is against payment of the quote, 45.- 2- We sort the machine and it costs you nothing. I deduce from this that Maison Trottet does not need to take care of its customers, it just wants their money. What do you think I could have decided?

I have ordered for many months from this site and was very satisfied. However, one day I received 2 kilos of probably poorly roasted coffee (very bad with a strong burnt smell). So I contacted customer service via the site but never got a response. So I contacted after-sales service by phone. The person I had first told me that it was impossible that it was poorly roasted, after insisting for a long time, I was offered to send it back so that he could taste it but at my expense ! So I didn't follow up so as not to pay more in shipping costs than the coffee itself. I find this unacceptable, especially when you are a regular customer and do not recommend this site because in the event of a problem there is no one left.
