Perfectly tempered cappuccino, friendly service and a great start to the day

I've only been there once and it's very comfortable

Schade was actually almost always satisfied with the service, but unfortunately I and a few other people stood in front of closed doors at 7:15 p.m. on November 20th, 2023, even though there was a sticker on the door with the opening times until 8 p.m. We even met a gentleman from the SBB who didn't approve of this either. It would be nice if this was the case in this cold weather so that you could warm up until the public transport arrives. Best regards M. Oberthaler

I drink a matcha latte or a cafe latte here every week before work and sometimes I have a crema (croissant with créme patissier filling). The people are all very nice and you feel welcome.

Had very nice service on Monday. Coffee is the best around. Since the café is right next to the train station, it's a great place to pass the time or meet up. Enough space available. Everything from sweet to salty is included.

A very pleasant station cafe. The cafe is right next to the first platform. The cafe also has a gift shop. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and smiling. It is definitely worth your visit when you are at Solothurn station.

There is also a Café Banhof, a clean and nice place, there is also cake, a place where you can sit while you wait for your train. We bought cheese in Gipfali, I would expect it to warm up a bit , the cheese that came out was dried, it tasted good but😔

Ordered a package from "Too Good to Go", looked forward to it and rode the bike an extra 20 minutes to Solothurn. When I got there I was told that they had forgotten that it was a holiday and that they had nothing ready. I was sent home empty-handed. And on top of that, I had to take care of the refund myself. Very frustrating, it's not really customer friendly!

At Caffe' Spettacolo in Solothurn, the guest is more than just a king. The service is very nice and friendly and Feli always has a very nice smile for the guests and she is always very nice to everyone. There is very fine coffee, sandwiches, delicious snacks and croissants - just about everything your heart desires.

It used to be great and a display every morning. But since the new managing director took over, the employees have become much less motivated and unfriendly. In addition, the probability of getting a disgustingly bitter coffee is now 7:10. I have no idea what the new management is doing with their people, it definitely doesn't reflect particularly well on the outside to the customers. After being a regular customer at the Spettaccolo Solothurn for several years, I now go and get my coffee from the Brezelkönig in the underpass. It belongs to the same s****** company Valora and the coffee now tastes better from the machine than the one from the piston machine above.

Have a nice and courteous staff. Things can get a bit hectic during commute times, but they handle it admirably. Also ideal for tea drinkers as there is a nice selection of delicious teas.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience on Friday June 14th. for 5dl. We paid 42.50 for white wine. Never again !

Despite loyal customers and several visits a week, you are turned away if you want to go to the toilet for a moment. Comment: If you have a drink, you can. The unfairness behind it: Some train station commuters are still allowed to request the code on some days. Furthermore: Prices far too high for run-of-the-mill coffee. Can do without it and therefore advise others to avoid such places that do not want to achieve customer satisfaction.

Everything at the usual high Spettacolo level. Excellent coffee - friendly, charming service! First class, "fluffy" croissants, good Italian style sandwiches. Takeaway coffee - not cheap but very good!

The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Always very happy and cheerful. The boss is actually friendly, but he always tries to force something on you. If you say, for example: a small dark to take away, it comes with croissant, sandwich. If you say no thanks, that's it, he still tries to sell gugelhopf or doesn't know what to sell. So I almost can't accept it if you "just" want a coffee. The biggest negative point: NO CHANGING TABLE. So I don't even have the opportunity to change my child's diaper when I'm there with my baby and want to enjoy 1-2 coffees. You are sent to an unhygienic toilet and you have to change your diaper on this dirty floor! The men's toilet is far too small and the women's toilet doesn't even have a toilet seat! There is no blanket and nothing, at most a stupid saying like: The child has to learn that not everything is clean, the bacteria don't harm us either (but a toddler who doesn't have an immune system yet does!). A child's hand quickly touches the floor and everyone knows that a toddler has their hand in their mouth faster than anyone can react. My question: Would an adult do the same thing by running their hand over a toilet floor and putting it in their mouth? As I said, you can choose between the narrow men's toilet with a urinal or the more spacious women's toilet WITHOUT a toilet lid. Alternatively, you are sent to the flower shop opposite and there on the SALES COUNTER you should do the wrapping, but I don't think it's fair to the lady who wants to sell her flowers there to do the wrapping on this counter (And this flower shop doesn't even belong to Valora !). I'm not even talking about the exorbitant prices. I recommend that all families go to McCafe next door, have a cheaper coffee price and a more hygienic toilet WITH a changing table. There is a free syrup for a child, but you have to pay CHF 1.50 for half a cup of hot water to warm up the bottle, which I don't think is fair (syrup, a glass for washing up or a cup that is thrown away is not free either; the sink is interested but it doesn't matter whether there is a cup more or less in it). There are only 2 stars for the very friendly women who serve you (otherwise there would have to be minus stars!) Edit 7/23/17 It was over 3 weeks ago when I wrote the above or received a response. Has the meeting already been held? What happened to our need for a changing table? It's not just about us, but also about many other mothers and fathers with small children.

There were 30 people waiting for the train. Our daughter, who was 8 months pregnant, had to get up from her chair at the staff's request because she hadn't had anything to drink. A beer carton that we would have thrown away before we left was thrown at my husband's feet without prior notice. (So ​​much for hospitality) Unfortunately there wasn't enough time to order something from the staff because, as I said, there were 30 of us. Sorry, but something like that doesn't work. We will definitely not consider these restaurants.
