For beeing that expensive by beeing that far away from the city i found it quite unpleasant and rude to find out that i paid more than i have should bcs i was by foot and not by car and therefore a biker tent would have been cheaper… then also not to give me the one day free ticket for the whole ticino wich i should get by booking a place and the 10Fr. voucher for migros even after spending that much in the bar/restaurant... also forgetting a soulbottle and an organic soap due to lyme disease who where worth 75fr. they said it was not found like somebody took it… Here you have it - youre welcome too!

Tip top. Unfortunately it's shady very, very early in the fall (not in the summer!) but otherwise everything is fine. Simply but practically furnished

Nice campsite a little out of the way. The pitches are sufficiently large and some are shady. Every pitch has water & electricity. Showers and sanitary facilities are exemplary clean. Our own restaurant invites you to enjoy a cozy drink, perhaps even by the fire.

Very nicely located campsite on the Melezza. If you're looking for nature, you've come to the right place. The campsite is kept very clean, as are the sanitary facilities. There is always something better, but the complaining would be at a high level. The operators are very friendly and helpful. If you are mobile, you can go shopping in Locarno or Ascona in just a few minutes; you can find the most necessary things in the campsite's own shop. I still deduct half a point because the food in the restaurant could be improved a lot. According to festival campers, it used to be very good. The second half of the point that you should get under control is, depending on the wind direction, an enormous odor nuisance, either from the disposal point or the camper's emptying point. I haven't figured out where it comes from yet. It's great with the dogs, you can walk for miles. Otherwise everything seems very uncomplicated, thank you, it was a nice stay.

Great campsite with everything you need. Including restaurant with delicious pizza. The sanitary facilities are neat and clean. There is even a dog hair dryer. Unfortunately it wasn't enough for five stars because the street noise was clearly noticeable. Still a recommended campsite.

Very clean toilets and showers, pleasant pitches with lots of trees, the rapid flow of the river is very pleasant. The staff is very straightforward and nice. I can really recommend it, even with a dog :-)

Very nice campsite, we stayed there for 2 days in a tent, location that we can choose ourselves! Camping right next to the river, really great if you have a dog. Very clean and welcoming campsite, a little expensive for us 50f Swiss per day without taxes and the dog (it's our fault, we didn't ask..) otherwise I highly recommend super clean WC and showers, sauna, swimming pool, jacuzzi ideal for children!

Nice place, with good plots. Sanitary very clean. Unfortunately quite expensive, I think €72 for one night with a dog is too much. Two pizzas for €32 with canned mushrooms was absolutely over the top.

Nice welcome, there were still a few places left from which we could choose. Sanitary facilities top and clean, power supply worthless, for more than €60 per night with camper (!!) At the first shower, no more power, after reporting on departure, only "o" could be removed and it was not calculated. All in all, an expensive place, but a reasonable campsite.

Overall, a great campsite to recommend. The place does everything it promises on the website, cleanliness is also fine and very friendly and personable staff. Located directly on the Maggia (river). A great, straight path runs along the Maggia to Ascona on the lake. On foot in partial shade in 50 minutes or by bike in 20 minutes. There are great swimming opportunities along the river - one right next to the campsite and others somewhat hidden, which you can then enjoy all by yourself. The place is generally extremely dog-friendly and so is the location! There were hardly any campers without a dog. On the way to Ascona there is even a dog park and dog beach exclusively for four-legged friends. We'll still deduct one star from the rating, but it's really just small things: 1. We were able to organize ourselves, but only 4 power connections for 6-7 parking spaces were not enough in our area. 2. There is “only” one toilet facility and you have to walk a bit depending on where you are. 3. The lawn could be a bit more cared for or cut more. The facility itself is otherwise well maintained. 4. We couldn't make a reservation (early). 5. The shop at the campsite offers the bare essentials, but only the absolute bare essentials - a little more selection would be great. These are almost just small things, but several that come together and with the rather high price it's a bit of a shame. We're happy if this is improved again or the price is reduced and then it's suitable for 5 stars. By the way, we were on the far left of the square, below H1. We can highly recommend this, as you have a lot more to yourself here on the outskirts and are very close to the path to the Maggia - great with the dog. We didn't experience any annoying traffic noise at all throughout the day and we were close to the road! We heard more helicopters than vehicles or at most motorcycles, which had to turn up to full speed.

I can confirm many things that were previously mentioned as very positive. Friendliness top, facility in very good condition, cleanliness 1a, free public transport, connected by bike via bike paths to Locarno and Ascona in 20 minutes, etc... But I haven't heard much about the incredible street noise. I sleep in the VW bus upstairs (tent). It felt like I could have laid down on the street, at over 50 SFr a night, the cheaper option. But everything else was very good.

Great CP, ideal for dog owners. Lots of walking opportunities, along the river you can reach Losone, Ascona and Locarno. Public transport is free as a guest. Sanitary facilities very clean. Restaurant invites you to enjoy fine food. Very friendly staff. Thanks to the operator, I'd be happy to do it again.

Very nice campsite, pleasant atmosphere in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended to have a delicious meal there, where they really cook for you with passion in a super cozy environment. Top campsite!!

The restaurant is very simple but also very authentic. There are still real Ticino specialties such as rabbit with polenta (also from local production). I hope this dish stays on the menu.

Actually a nice campsite if it wasn't for this street right in front of the square Unfortunately, this is unmistakable, which makes recovery difficult, Great and clean sanitary facilities and washing up areas. Parking spaces are sufficiently large, although they are more reminiscent of a motorhome port. Ideal for trips to Arcona or Locarno as well as hikes. Registration unproblematic. Staff nice. We left early because of the noise but it was OK for a transit

In itself a nice place for trips to Locano & Ascona or hikes in the surrounding area. Reception and registration nice and uncomplicated. Now unfortunately the disadvantages: The showers were clean but unfortunately the faucet doesn't even let water through for 2 seconds and there are shower curtains available, whether with 4 star ACSI Is compatible? WiFi is only sufficient in the front area. And now the reason for our earlier departure is the street that runs directly past the square Which is probably used as a small race track due to its nature, especially uphill/downhill. Even though we were out and about almost the whole day, it wasn't possible for us to relax It's a shame, otherwise I would have liked to stay. This is our own opinion You are welcome to have your own experience. What we are unfortunately noticing more and more is that no one asks whether or how you liked it. As the operator, I would be interested in the opinions or suggestions of the guests. The main thing is that you pay and it's good. Well, you can't change anything on the road, but a few small changes will make your stay more pleasant. Good luck!!!!!

Spent a great weekend there. Perfect for dogs and groups. Food in the restaurant was great and so was the price. But I deduct half a star for the breakfast, price performance could be better. Otherwise TOP, we'll definitely be back.

Great campsite! Very good value for money, 47CHF per night (high season) for a pitch for 2 people and 1 dog. Super welcoming bar-restaurant, attentive staff, very pleasant service and the food is good. Very clean sanitary facilities and full of services available (swimming pool/hot tub/sauna, etc.) I recommend

Very very clean, top services with available staff, river to swim in when the pool is occupied by children's games, a road that is a little heard but it is unavoidable around the lake, so attractive. Loan of bike to explore the surroundings. Indeed, this campsite must be quieter than those on the banks of the lake, and it remains close to tourist attractions.

Very clean facility with wonderfully friendly staff and the boss tries to create an unforgettable experience for all guests. The sanitary facilities are all clean at all times of the day and the pool is also well maintained. The space is not very big, which makes it very comfortable. The POD houses have enough space for 2 people and everything is in close proximity (restaurant, bathrooms, reception and pool). The food in the restaurant is very tasty, highly recommended. You can also order fresh bread every day or have breakfast on site. Locarno is also only 10 minutes away. We will definitely be back :) What else needs to be said is that the river is not easy to reach as you have to go downhill. Depending on your physical condition, it is not possible to swim there. Nevertheless, there is a sandy beach there. But the campsite can't do anything about this. I just wanted to mention it.

It was our second visit and certainly not the last. The location is great, after a short drive you can get to Leone or Brissago. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The space and the sanitary facilities were always clean. The pool was also kept clean. The path to the river "Melezza" was short and the river was clean and refreshing. Nice sandy beach. Disliked · There are a few deck chairs and unfortunately they don't have umbrellas. The shared kitchen could be a little cleaner. WiFi could be better, even in the Pood area.

Very nice campsite. The sanitary facilities are very clean and there are plenty of sinks, sinks and toilets/showers. The children's playground is really well done and the pool is perfect for cooling off after a day trip. The staff is very friendly. I would have liked the camping shop to have some fresh food, but the bread every morning was very good. We were camping for 10 days and enjoyed every day.

Organized and developed campsite with a stream at the side. Small pool but fine for children. Clean bathrooms. Nice and mini bungalows with air conditioning.

Now that my great vacation has unfortunately come to an end, I would like to try something great for you. We had booked a pod house at the Melezza campsite in Losone. It's a great campsite with everything you need on vacation. The facility is in great condition and the sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly. You could go swimming in the pool, which was very well maintained, but there was also the opportunity to eat and drink. There was a playground for the little ones. All I can say is that next year I will go there again for a few days to relax and unwind. Kind regards to the great and nice staff, keep it up...Of course I shouldn't forget, my dog ​​🐕 was also very welcome.

Gorgeous place, friendly staff and excellent cuisine.

Camping is ok, accessible by public transport (sometimes only a bus every 2 hours), staff friendly, especially the nice lady at check-in, sanitary facilities are very clean, unfortunately the breakfast is a bit meager and the staff there is not organized efficiently.

Nice campsite with a cozy atmosphere. We went to Moon and Stars in Locarno and the bus connections are OK.

Very nice campsite. Staff very friendly and multi lingual. Restaurant is basic and not expensive by Swiss standards. The cycle route into city is from behind the site but the first 1-2 km is a sandy and gravel track best suited to a mountain or crossover bike. The only fault I have is that the fresh water supply for the side of the site we were on is in the same place as the chemical toilet dump. You can’t trust people not to use that hose for rinsing the chemical toilet.

We had booked 2 PODs, we loved it, perfect swimming pool with small shop right opposite, great restaurant, lovely staff at reception at the shop and restaurant, beautiful little river nearby, clean sanitary facilities, this campsite is a marvel, a little corner of paradise

Excellent campsite with excellent sanitary facilities, but that is also possible for 50 euros per night. The showers could stay warm a little longer. Now you have to push the button every 10 seconds, very annoying. Many places are small, so you have to walk around a bit. When you walk into the campsite, there is the permanent part on the right. Quite unpleasant and looks somewhat neglected. The left part is definitely better. Located about 8 kilometers from Ascona. Nice city ! Sandwich service. A woman at the reception (a bit older) was very nice. One younger female less.

A beautiful CP. Right on the river with access from the square. Sanitary was super clean! Breakfast - if you want it - was delicious and plentiful. Staff and boss very nice and helpful! Will definitely come back...
