Everything was perfect : the food is as close as it gets to what you can eat in China, the service was great and Anna the owner will do everything to make your experience amazing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone coming around Leukerbad

The fine food saved everything. A nice aubergine for 30.- Without rice. Sad. The service was very unsympathetic, prices were overpriced, vegetarian dishes were more expensive than meat, incomprehensible... but the kitchen does really fine things, hence a second star

+ the kung pao chicken was very good; chicken with satay sauce was good, but I thought kung pao was way better + they serve tap water. Switzerland has incredible water quality so it really doesn’t make sense to pay 5-6 chf extra for a bottle of water - the rice portions are a bit too small - it is quite expensive compared to other restaurants in Switzerland. Note: the place is quite big, but it was full when we came. Better to make a reservation.

Very busy asian restaurant, with a good variety of chineese food. Broad selection from Menu. It is a must to place the booking in advance. I appreciate the efforts to accept us without the proper booking, it is very much appreciated. The meals are somewhat vague in taste, especially the sauces. The curry sauce had a strong taste of mustard, which is not typical to chinese cuisine. I believe the lack of taste may come from smaller selection of spices in Europe compared to China. Anyway, they use quite a lot of glutamate to strengthen the taste as in China. It feels a lot of stress among the workers - perhaps they need more waiters or the boss is very strict for turnover ;) i think a bit of friendly smile and warm check up if all is Ok would just be the cure. Overall, i would still suggest to visit the place, just for variety between the swiss fondue and Rössti meals.

Very good food, fair price, but unfortunately the waiters are much too oppressive, they continue to serve as quickly as possible and do two services in one evening, and unfortunately it spoils the meal to have a waiter who is almost standing next to the table waiting for you to finish a plate to quickly clear it and move on… too bad

Good but expensive to take away and no service and glass for drinks

A spontaneous visit. It was nice to see that a restaurant could be so busy, it's not a given these days. Despite the rush, the food came in a reasonable time. Portion and taste were okay. Unfortunately it is quite far from our home, otherwise we would certainly be regulars here.

The food is excellent. The staff is friendly. The only thing, they start clearing out while not everyone has finished eating. That's the only downside.

One of the best chonese restaurant in switzerland.

The service is warm and welcoming. The dishes are a disaster. I ordered black pepper beef and red curry duck, but the two dishes were exactly the same. It doesn't meet the taste requirements of authentic Chinese food, even if it is an imitation of Chinese dishes, the taste doesn't really convince me. Takeaway is slightly cheaper per dish, but the rice is purchased separately, which is understandable. But it was too inedible. Merry Christmas.

Good restaurant, Good food and well presented. Prices for some dishes are too high. A negative note is the attitude of the waiters, kind and helpful in front but behind a disaster, they remain still and stare at you while you eat, and they often make fun of customers. I don't speak Chinese, but the behavior and attitude is very obvious and annoying.

The ordered meal has no taste. The chicken and the vegetables not cooked with an awful taste ruined the night. Despite the gesture on the bill, I won't return to this establishment ever.

A treat for the taste buds and the eyes

Thank you very much. I would not expect to find good Chinese restorant in middle of Swiss Alps. And here it is. We had probably the best shrimps dumplings in a long time. The eggplant with the sweet souce and Pekin ducks were very tasty. The service is fast and helpful, speaking many languages. If you like the Chinese food - Highly recommend it. Thanks again.

The food is delicious, tastes good, everything is right, the service is good, fast and looks clean. The shop has a well decorated interior. Equipment that uses plates and bowls can be used to set up tables and seats for customers very well. The space is not cramped.​ I recommend that if you come to eat at the restaurant, they will always take care of you and come in to ask about the food. Very good.

Reservation for 6:30 p.m. arrived at 6:15 p.m. Order placed at 6:25 p.m. currently it is 7:30 p.m. still not served, too bad it looked appetizing, following my complaint a lady apologized and promised to be served in the next 10 minutes. I ask for a counterpart, Promise kept, invoice with an error, but then corrects it, good food, 3 stars but could easily have more

Looking for a place to eat in a small place like Leukerbad and do not want to eat Rösti or cheese? Do not look anymore. This Asian place has a great variety of dishes. The staff was very friendly and nice. Food came out fast and most importantly it tasted very good. Will go back next time we are in Leukerbad.

Good Chinese with pleasant and efficient service.

A world record, the dishes served before the aperitif! 5 minutes after ordering, for 6. They explain to us that they are expecting people and that they cannot return the dishes. The Spritzes arrive 2 minutes after the hot dishes, it's a joke, sorry for the efficiency we are told! The dishes are good and considering the prices we save the evening. If the cooking is good, the know-how is lacking. Already when ordering the server was urgent. We will return if we have to eat in 20 minutes.

When you enter Canaan, you feel like you've been teleported from Leukerbad to Beijing. The restaurant is vast and beautifully decorated! On the counter, there is even a mechanical cat that waves its paw in greeting. The menu offers multiple and delicious Chinese dishes. We tried the Plaisir menu with spring rolls, steamed pork ravioli, Sichuan beef, chicken with cashew nuts and apple fritters for dessert, an unrivaled treat! The staff is smiling and very friendly. Canaan, a pearl of the Far East nestled in the heart of the Valais mountains!

The service attitude is good and the food is delicious. We stayed here for two nights and ate there both nights. If there is a chance, we would like to come back to try other food.

Hodgepodge salad, Super peasant maccaroni, fabulous torta della nonna (Anna), makes caffé (homemade grappa) turn your head. Absolutely recommended. We are definitely going to go back there. It’s a truly magnificent restaurant, it’s super good
