Went there yesterday for a Sunday lunch with my friends. The food is delicious. They put the best ingredients together to serve you tasty typical meals. Very generous portions and a quick and professional service. If you want to dine with fondue chinoise, you need to let them know when you reserve your table.

We ate the saddle of venison. Included in the price is a small appetizer plate and then the saddle. Compared to other restaurants they don't present you with the tray with saddle, side dishes and everything else but only the saddle. The saddle is served in 2 parts and the side dishes are decidedly delicious. To conclude we asked for eggnog out of paper and they were really kind to accommodate us. Digestive offered which never hurts 😉

Wohne hier ca 5 Minuten entfernt und mochte den Grill und die Speisen sehr gerne. Nach dem 9. Mal hier als Gast gewesen erlebte ich nach mehreren Mankos vorher schon einen total Reinfall - in der Schweiz ist mir NOCH NIE etwas passiert, was ich von vor 20 Jahren in deutschen Grosstädten oder aus schlimmsten TV Formaten über fallierte Restaurants kenne, auf die Vorspeise warteten wir 45, auf Hauptspeise nochmal 60 min. Wein kam immer ordentlich nach- die Wartezeit war also durchaus umsatzfördernd. Das Essen ist gut aber nicht unbedingt den Preis wert, fahren sie nochmal 10 Minuten weiter nach Cureglia oder Tesserete, dort ist der Geschmack und der Service besser! Genauso das Angebot auf einen Entschuldigungs-Limoncello (schon vor der Rechnung)... machen sie das nicht, es ist nichts peinlicher als auf den angebotenen Schnaps zu warten und sich nicht zu trauen, die Rechnung anzufordern- also nochmal 30 Minuten auf Kaffee und Schnaps gewartet- kam nicht. Ich habe seeeehr viel Verständnis vor allen für Restaurants weil ich gerne hingehe und ich das Leben liebe- zur Ehrenrettung sei der Hinweis erlaubt, dass an unserem Abend viele viele Touristen aus der Deutschschweiz hier waren, mitunter auch recht schwierige, aber das ist kein Grind das ortsansässige Publikum zu beleidigen und zu vernachlässigen.

Cena con sella di capriolo ieri sera, tutto ottimo e abbondante, peccato per il servizio, il cameriere si é permesso di criticare la scelta del vino da abbinare alla sella, e non contento della figuraccia ha rincarato la dose dicendo che ero il primo della stagione che scegliava quella tipologia di uvaggio. Se il vino me lo avesse regalato forse avrebbe potuto anche dire la sua , che nessuno gli ha chiesto, ma penso di essere libero di fare gli accostamenti che piu aggradano alla tavolata.
