Great restaurant, friendly and attentive staff, very fine food. It looks inconspicuous from the outside, but the walk in was definitely worth it! One or two vegetarian dishes would be great. But still highly recommended!

Traditional place and cuisine. Small downside on the meat which was a little tough despite being cooked rare.

Succulent pizzas, with soft homemade dough. We love. Bold hamburger with very good meat which comes from the gourmet Salavaux farm. A nice choice of wines. The foie gras is also very good, as are the salads. Efficient service.

Too bad that the table next door, confusing a restaurant with a daycare, let their young children (flat on their stomachs on the floor) make all the noise and uproar due to their age, with their games, like in a child care center. For a business dinner I've had better.

We were there twice in a short time and the food was excellent, the pizzas are recommended, as well as the burgers and tatakis as well as the Caesar salad. We were thrilled. The service was very good and everyone was extremely friendly. Gladly again.

Too greasy menu and average service

We celebrated our little one's baptism in the charming restaurant room. Excellent attentive service, more than fair price quality, very understandable with children. I recommend 100%. We would like to quibble, we couldn't.

Great warm place, the dishes tasted are of sketch quality, the welcome from the staff is very warm and attentive. We had a great time, we will definitely come back. Just a small point the boss passed without leaving a good day a bit of a shame.

Reopened since the resumption in August 2021, very good food and well served. The negative points are always the ambient noise in the rooms and the service a little too expeditious.

It’s a shame the cordon bleu is good but the sweet brown sauce spoils everything not everyone likes sweetness maybe put this sauce on the side 😔and the gratin dauphinois is not cooked enough 😣

Opinion which will be constructive and not to belittle: Good food, however I took the Fribourgeois burger (way too many potatoes) if you want to make it with two patties, don't put fries but salad or vegetables. Because we don't enjoy the fries which have the same flavor as the pancakes. Likewise, it should perhaps be clarified that there is no bread in this burger and only potato buns (yes it is not noted buns like on the other burgers but we expect to have some). In addition, I was asked for cooking but not respected for the burger (better not to ask, that way there will be no disappointment). The person with me took the perch fillets, no complaints! Very good and good quantity.

Reopening of the restaurant. We want to go for a drink, we sit on the terrace, I go to ring the bell to call the service, no one comes, we wait a few minutes. Some customers come out of the restaurant and ask us if we are being served. I replied that no A person comes to the restaurant to tell them that there are people on the terrace. Afterwards we decide to have another drink I ring two children present at the entrance and say that there are no people there. I tell them that it's me who rang the bell and the guy asks me why I rang the bell. I tell him that I would like someone to serve us. unfortunately no reaction. we decide to leave without forgetting to take the trash that I had left for the first tour disappointed disappointed

Establishment that is worth the detour! “Classy” meals and service... We ask for more and we come back.

Landgasthof mit mehreren Speiseräumen die auch für örtliche Veranstaltungen genutzt werden. Freundlicher Service und solide Küchenleistung vor allem bei den Fleischgerichten wie Pferdesteak. Die Eglifilets konnten allerdings nicht überzeugen, der Fisch war schon einwenig zu trocken und die Zitronen-Weinsauce zu sehr eingedickt.

Nous avons pris le civet de cerf, vraiment super bon. Rien à redire ! Viande, sauce, accompagnements succulents. Nous avons eu un peu d'attente mais il y avait beaucoup de monde ce samedi soir. Nous comptons bien revenir y manger très bientôt !

Nous avons réservé avec le passeport gourmand 5 jours avant d’aller y manger, nous nous sommes rendus samedi 13 octobre en arrivant la personne qui nous a installé à notre table nous dit qu’avec le passeport gourmand nous ne pouvions pas commander les médaillons de chevreuil ni de la biche , là nous lui précisons que rien n’est écrit dans le passeport et qu’ on ne nous a rien dit lors de la réservation , elle nous répond oui effectivement c’est nouveau depuis quelques jours des clients ont pris ces plats et n’ont bu que du coka,,,, pas notre problème nous étions 4 et avons bu apéro,vin dessert ,en plus nous avons attendu longtemps avant d’être servi bien après des personnes arrivées après nous donc nous sommes très déçus car nous avions déjà été mangé là-bas et avions apprécié, du plus il est vrai que le personnel laisse à désirer.

Nous y avons passé un vendredi soir récemment. La nourriture y était bonne, sans y être exceptionnelle. La décoration très jolie! Le service par contre, zéro pointé! Une serveuse d’une antipathie jamais vue auparavant, un manque de respect ahurissant! Au prix que nous avons payé il y a mille autres endroits bien plus accueillant.

Encore une fois, c'était délicieux . Ils ont 10 jours de vacances bien méritées ,mais dès que possible j'y retourne. Bravo, bravo, bravo 🤗🤗🤗👌.

Viande sur ardoise excellente !

Le fondue chinoise était bien. Mais le service n'a pas été du tout top.

Situé sur les hauts de Saint Aubin, grand restaurant avec une salle à manger qui est en fait une salle de théâtre/communale. Carte très variée viandes poissons röschtis pâtes et toutes les fondues dont certaines sur commandes. Cuisine familiales goûteuse et généreuse, présentation soignée. Les desserts sont top. Service, peut mieux faire!

Restauration de qualité, personnel très sympa

Un endroit à ne pas manquer pour manger la chasse mais pas seulement !!! Nous avons eu l’immense joie de réaliser notre repas de mariage en 05.2014. Depuis nous nous y rendons 3-4x/an. Une cuisine savoureuse où tout le monde trouvera son bonheur (je suis polyallergique et la patronne est toujours aux petits soins pour que je me régale en toute sécurité).

J'Y vais quelques fois par année. Que cela soit pour la fondu chinoise ou pour la chasse... jamais déçu .. la quantité est suffisante et tout à du goût. Très bon restaurant villageois

Ambiance cafe de village , tables et.chaises en bois et déco de saison , service rapide et staff très sympathique mais le plus important est ce qu'il y a dans l'assiette et la ce fut une belle surprise , Les plats sont très bien assaisonnés et les portions généreuses ! La présentation des mets est soignée et les différentes saveurs étaient au rendez vous , merci pour ce bon repas ..

Je mets deux étoile pour le service, vraiment nul arrivé en premier on as été servis en derniers, presque un peu plus d’une heure d’attente vraiment décevant. La nourriture rien à dire c’est bon et bien présenté. Décor de la salle durant la chasse très jolie avec ces beaux fusils et ce treillis au plafond, vraiment sympathique.

Je connaissais déjà ce restaurant car j'ai de la famille qui vit dans un village pas loin et jusqu'aujourdhui j'ai toujours profité d'aller manger leur fameuse fondue chinoise pendant mes vacances. Cette fois avec ma famille on est restés vraiment déçu de la façon dont laquelle on nous a traités. On est arrivé un vendredi d'octobre vers 12:30 et vue qu'on n'avait pas réservé on a demandé si c était possible de manger quatre chinoise et on nous a repondu qu'il n'y avait aucun problème! Donc on les a commandées. Avec la première assiette de viande et la portion de frites on a pu apprécier leur fameuse qualité. Mais, après une deuxieme assiette que nous, on a du demander car personne nous a considéré, à la question d' en avoir une troisieme (car nous etions quatre adultes), on a reçu la reponse par la patronne que la cuisine etait fermée! (14h, pas difficile de couper en peu plus de viande avant et pas compliqué de laisser la friteuse allumée!) et que la deuxième assiette etait déjà un supplément!! On ajute que la viande était coupée assez fine donc le pois n'était absolument pas suffisant pour nourrire 4 adultes. En principe, comme le menu souligne, on n'aurai pas du avoir limite au doses. Pour conclure: service sans sourir (on dirai que notre presence n'etait plus aimé depuis environ 13:30!!!); patronne pas sympa dans la façon de nous repondre; sortis avec la faim et ...Addition? 4 fondues, 1 bouteille de rouge, une d eau minerale, deux cafés= 189 chf. Pas mal considéré que pour se remplir un peu, avant le café, on a du demander de boire le bouillon de la fondue!! C'est triste que ça s'est passé le jour où j'ai voulu offrir le dîner à ma famille pour une occasion spécial. Une dernière chose: nous n'avons pas apprécié le fait que le staff du resto s'est mis tranquillement à manger en nous ignorant. Cela explique aussi pourquoi on n'a reçu que deux assiettes de viande et frites pendant l'heure et demi q'on a étés assis à la table. Un conseil pour la patronne: je fais vôtre même travail et MOI, je ne me permettrais jamais de traiter de cette façon ma clientèle!!!

Conduits dans une charmante salle décorée pour la saison, nous avons débuté un succulent repas par une salade de Rampon avec tranches fines de chevreuil cru sous une poêlée de chanterelles un délice.Une carte met en appétit nos papilles et le résultat est super. Un régal dans un établissement de campagne à ne rater sous aucun prétexte!

Mets apprêtés avec sérieux, rigueur et finesse! La chasse de même que certaines spécialités fribourgeoises y sont réunies. On peut se laisser tenter les yeux fermés! Bravo Isabelle

Bel accueil d'un groupe de 170 Seniors dans une salle très spacieuse de ce restaurant. On relève l'effort fait pour décorer tout spécialement cette salle durant la saison de la chasse. On se croirait en forêt (taillis, animaux,...)!Le repas servi durant cette réunion était simple mais bon (jambon et pommes de terre). Le service a été rapide et efficace. Bravo!Je reviendrai en couple pour goûter la chasse...

Très franchement l'accueil de la serveuse est assez brut de décoffrage. Le menu du jour était vraiment pas terrible. Pâtes beaucoup trop cuites, aucune saveur dans le plat. Très déçue. Le service n'a pas non plus été au rendez-vous. Dommage on se réjouissait d'y aller avec mes collègues...

En période d'été au menu le mercredi, il y a grillade à gogo. Personnel sympathique
