Casa Dufour in Zürich

Best Rösti in Switzerland & enlightening conversations. I noticed Casa Dufour in the “Places to visit in Switzerland” and when I visited Zurich it was clear that a visit would be an absolute must. And I was not disappointed. One of my highlights here, hopefully Casa Dufour will soon be in Hamburg too!

The location is simply fantastic! I was able to celebrate my 28th birthday at Casa Dufour. I was particularly impressed by the host's openness and spontaneity. He was extremely accommodating and seemed to fulfill every wish - an unforgettable evening! A big thank you to the great team. Until next year!

So I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The natural spring spa surpasses every comparable spa in Switzerland. Alejandro's infusion show was a once in the livetime experience. I was spoiled in every way. Gladly again.

I spent my Thursday evening in this cozy quarters. First I went to a completely overpriced bar called BIERlab (12 francs per beer!!!) before stumbling into this particularly charming and very inexpensive establishment. The very spontaneous and open hosts like to sit at the table with the regular guests and let the summer evening end together.

Great service ! Very friendly staff. They even offer typical Swiss clothing like hats and cow belts. One of the hosts made a bowl for us after which they took us to Chinatown to enjoy the fireworks!

Highly recommend a visit. High quality offering and professional service with a personal touch (was greeted at the door by the owner!) Ample parking spaces available are also a plus!

Best place to buy your snus from. Big variety and the shopkeeper, Monsieur Alain, is the most experienced snuser in town. 5/5 would recommend

Where should I start? The experience at Casa Dufour is simply a must do! It starts with the excellent welcome by the hosts and the circle closes when leaving this temple. Excellent service coupled with an exceptional location in the heart of Zurich. An insider tip from me: Try the homemade barley soup this is great! The host was awarded the "Soup Prize" in 2016. All in all, Casa Dufour is a must for anyone who feels hospitality coupled with excellent location and culinary excursions. I will certainly come again!

I have been to casa dufour last weekend to experience host alejandro’s musical artistry. As everybody who is familiar with zurichs underground music scene knows, alejandro is a wizzard in his metier. Their antique rolling stones vinyl records collection is one of a kind in switzerland. Looking forward to more groovy nights in casa dufour!!!

Best dog stylist in town. My two Labradoodles, Olga & Lee, have been getting their hair cut at Alessandro for a long time. So far everything has always been perfect. The price-performance ratio is sensational and so is Alessandro's service. Very courteous and kind gentleman. My dogs love getting their hair cut at Alessandro's. Thank you🐶🐶🐶

Best Sunday Brunch in town - The avocado toast was out of this world - Plus free mimosas 😍. Service was also superb - 10/10

I go to Dufour, or “Düfi” as we say, at least once a month. The sushi and sashimi are always freshly prepared in front of the customer with great attention to detail. À la minute Japanese style🇯🇵 also recommended is the “Bavaria Thursday”, pork knuckle and Leberkäs until you drop...just like in grandmother's times.

Highly recommend trivia night every tuesday! The host is amazing and the free shots after midnight are something you have to experience yourself!

Never been there, but its reputation precedes the infamous establishment! I can't wait to be invited onto the guest list! I've heard the homemade Gruyère is the finest. The Condomeria has a large selection.

As a long-time aquarist, I was excited about what was supposedly the best aquarium shop in the Limmat city. Great professional advice, great selection of fish and also some invertebrates. In addition, innovative and never-before-seen suggestions for setting up the aquarium - simply fantastic! 🐠 And best of all: when I visited, Wayde King from the aquarium professionals was in the shop - a living legend of the underwater world! Viva con Aquarium

Culturally alternating niche music and varied food and drink offerings. The range of towels has also now been perfected. The hosts have a sixth sense for the needs of their guests. Casa Dufour is simply non plus ultra. I'd be happy to come back at any time.
