Casa Grande in Wilen (TG)

We called for ice cream for two people, he said on the phone that it was okay, we could come, there was still a place available. >>When we were there one of the people said there was no room, we had to go to the bar. At the bar they were shocked that we only took an ice tea that was from a bottle and not homemade 6.50Fr. costs. We got the ice cream menu and after 15 minutes and no one asked for our order. When we said we wanted to pay for the ice tea, they said <<ah they don't want to order ice cream.>> The worst thing about the whole thing is that we are still young, around 20, and there were older guests older than us and said to the employees, <<We're sorry, we haven't made a reservation, but can we eat something.>> The same person who sent us to the bar said that there were still seats available and pointed out where there were has space. At the end we left angry but thanked and tipped and said goodbye and nothing came back. So that doesn't work at all.

We as a family were thrilled in the evening by the attention and courteous greeting, service, food and farewell. Landlords who put in such effort more than deserve to make it big. Great, see you next time.

As invited guests, we were once again at Casagrande, which left a very good impression under new management. The food was really very good, the service was very attentive and the atmosphere in the courtyard was ok. You could update the football shirts!! On the whole we felt very comfortable and can only recommend it to everyone 👍🏻👏🏻

First of all, the positive, the service was very friendly and super attentive, tiptop. The dishes (pizza, pasta al mare, pasta ai spinaci) leave a lot to be desired: Pizza: Taste good, but dough not at all crispy, like a "wet rag". Pasta: so far good, just not very hot! ...on all menus the plates were not hot enough, luke warm!!! At the current status (food, price) I cannot recommend Casa Grande!

Today we were completely satisfied again (green salad, small portion of fine Paesana pizza, plum sorbet, wine, coffee, but also the service and the ambience were good).

A great Italian restaurant in Wil: Super friendly and courteous staff. The menu is really extensive, leaves nothing to be desired and our food was delicious. The atmosphere is really nice, you walk in - you're greeted and you immediately feel at home! Now at Christmas time the restaurant is almost completely decorated with fairy lights - successful and beautifully done! Based on our experience, we can really recommend Casa Grande 👌🏻!

The food was very tasty and you immediately felt welcome in the restaurant. We treated ourselves to salad, soup, pizza and pasta. Quality impeccable! Compliments to the kitchen. Particularly noteworthy are the extremely tasty, homemade salad dressing and the homemade garlic paste, which you can spread on the pizza to your own taste. We would be happy to come back if we get the chance.

The Italian restaurant in Wilen near Wil. Tasty pizzas and more. If you're craving pizza, you've come to the right place and the service is also impressive.

My wife and I have eaten here several times. We really like the food and love the outdoor terrace. On this visit the food and environment were great as always, but the waiter could use a little coaching on his manners. My wife had an allergic reaction to the food. She couldn't eat it. We wanted to find out the cause so we could continue to enjoy eating at Casa Grande. The waiter didn't care about her health or help us find out the cause. His only interest was to emphasize that he had done nothing wrong. I wanted to order my wife something else to eat, but due to the inconvenience of her allergy and the waiter's bad attitude, she chose to go home hungry. We will try again because our previous experiences were much better. We hope that the owner of the restaurant reads this review and guides his staff to treat guests better.

It doesn't actually deserve a star because when we made the reservation we were asked whether there were "too many women with headscarves"!

In the Wil area, Casa Grande is perhaps one of the best Italian restaurants. The staff is very accommodating and always greets guests with a smile or a quick saying.

Unpleasant, long waiting times, waiter was way too crazy. Food was ok but nothing special for the price. Too many fancy people but nothing behind it.

It's definitely not a bad restaurant, but it didn't suit my taste, the waiting time was relatively long (but it was also full). The salad was ok, the pizza, well, I've had better ones but also worse ones, it was too soft in the middle for me, I liked the ham Not very tasty either, size was completely ok. All in all not in my top ten.

Business meal with a client, we ate very well there. The menu is varied with the possibility of opting for daily menus at a lower cost. Good wine list also. The service was good but crowded between noon and 1 p.m.! Apparently the cook and the chef of the establishment are the same as the Laghetto who close when the other is open. The car park has around twenty spaces.

The Casa Grande is a very comfortably furnished restaurant. Especially now in summer you can sit wonderfully either on the terrace or in the directly adjacent garden. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. We had a pizza that was quite big and tasted good too. In terms of price, I would consider it to be on the higher end but not overpriced. Can be recommended without hesitation.

We always feel comfortable here. The garden is pleasantly shaded by umbrella trees. The quality of the food (especially the pizza) and the service met our expectations - so the price/performance ratio was right for us.

The restaurant and ambience is very nice. A warm welcome from the boss himself and the staff are also very friendly. The food was good to very good. Bruschetta was great. Pizza was good to very good 👍 Only the Frutti Di Mare pizza had far too little seafood on it. (seafood has been minced) There should be more seafood on it without it being chopped up. Highly recommend a cozy dinner.
