Ambiance very nice and cozy, super friendly service! Very tasty pizza with a thin, crispy base! Salad, penne...all very good. If you love really hot coffee, Casa Mattoni has it too! (You won't find any dessert options on the menu...) Toilets were clean and in perfect working order even later in the evening. All in all, it was so great that we would like to come back soon. Thanks!

Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Service very polite. Food was received cleanly. Prepared quickly and was very tasty. I would order salad, pizza and tiramisu again immediately. The prices are also super fair.

Nice restaurant, just a little bit outside of Frauenfeld. The food was delicious. Maybe a touch too much towards well done (beef). The grilled oven veggies are a great choice as as side.. Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to get the Bruschetta without onion and garlic (I know it's maybe weird but I am having issues digesting raw onion and garlic) as aparently, the toping is premade. Not a major issue but it would be nice to have it made from scratch. Service was attentive yet not disrupting. The overall atmoshere is modern and clean. Maybe not reminding one at an Italian restaurant at first sight. Some tables (like ours) near the entrance catch some draught when the door is opening or closing, so if you're sensitive to that you might want to request a table elsewhere. Prices are mid - higher end in Frauenfeld but mostly justifiable for the qualify of food. Parking is readily available, just next to the entrance. Overall, a nice experience and a recommendation.

The price/performance ratio is unbeatable! My pizza was very good, the service was very friendly and the price was more than fair! I'd love to come back.

My parents invited me to Casa Mattoni on a Wednesday evening a few weeks ago and we were thrilled: + Restaurant very nicely designed and maintained inside and out - Beautiful plastic and leather chairs should have nice, thin upholstery; otherwise the guests will sweat in summer + Very attentive, error-free service + The quality of the food, including the pizza, was very high + Good house wines + An extra, even though we had already created a lot of work for the kitchen and the service staff with our cross-country search through the menu All in all: Please keep it up!

The three of us ate there yesterday, but we weren't happy, we ordered 3 Hugos, we had to wait at least 20 minutes for them, but we only had 2 guests at the time, the starter didn't correspond to an adjusted price/performance ratio, the dessert for 5.50. - it wasn't even a whole scoop of ice cream but half a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a small glass! The host preferred to sit with a lady who was most likely the boss, but didn't think it was necessary to greet us even though she was at our table several times came by at 9:00 p.m. himself at a pizza place in a corner where he didn't even see us anymore instead of clearing the table after we had already finished eating half an hour. Our empty aperitif glasses were still on the table until the end, as were our other glasses that had long since been empty. We saw absolutely nothing about gastronomic skills, so we had to hand our empty plates across the table ourselves to have them cleared away. We also had to accept the starter ourselves because it was simply served across the table. If the gentleman hadn't treated himself to a pizza during service that evening and then ignored us for three quarters of an hour, we wouldn't have been left dry the whole time sat and ordered something to drink. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant and we do not understand why people take on something like this these days without having any experience that the guest can absolutely feel. The atmosphere is really nice, the pizza was ok and the price was right, the boss was friendly... It's clear to us that we won't be eating there again and it didn't surprise us that there were almost no guests on a Wednesday evening shortly after the reopening.
