Nice but quite expensive. Offer: Rice with 4 different cheeses was 26 francs. There was only rice on the plate. You didn't see any of the various types of cheese. Salad dry, almost no sauce.

We stopped by on a business trip to Germany. Interesting place where in addition to eating there is the possibility of buying a vast selection of cheeses they produce. However, be careful that the shop is open until 8pm, then it is no longer possible to purchase them.

The best Fondue in Ticino! I usually go 2-3 times a year and every time I am fascinated by the structure and the atmosphere. Great service, they also have options for celiacs.

The Gottardo dairy is both a cheese shop and a restaurant serving typical Swiss dishes. The dishes prepared are simple but the quality of the raw materials is excellent. The service is quite fast and the prices are in line with the quality and quantity. At the shop you can find excellent regional cheeses and yoghurts, as well as some dry products such as polenta flour.

Restaurant: excellent cuisine and service, welcoming and friendly staff. Shop: many local products especially cheeses, yogurt etc. produced directly in the dairy located under the restaurant. Very close to the Airolo motorway exit, a stone's throw from the Valbianca SA ski lifts. Wheelchair accessible with parking in front of the door.

I went to dinner with my father, it was spectacular, the fondue was very, very good. We had a fantastic waitress, super kind and above all very nice, I thank her again for the part of the evening she gave us. I will definitely go back. Super recommended

Welcoming and easy to reach, especially after skiing in Airolo Pesciüm. Lots of free parking... nice choice of products from the Ticino area.

I'm crazy about the dairy's rösti, the cheese is super, but so is everything else, I also had the cake of the day, delicious!! When I come to this area, you can't help but stop, either to eat or to shop for food.

At first we thought of a fondue because of the cheese dairy. But the ambience didn't exactly make you want to enjoy fondue. Resembled a party place for a birthday party, just a large room and table after table. Then I ordered Schnipo because I thought I was on the safe side. You think the schnitzel was fried, slightly black and dry. The fries, well, not crispy and not enough salt. You couldn't even look at the vegetables. Whether it was carrots or broccoli, everything was brownish. I don't know how it tasted because I preferred to leave it alone. Definitely not recommended, I have no idea how the good reviews came about. It could be that the fondue is top, who knows... but the service is terrible so I don't want to try it at any other time.

Unfortunately, I have never seen the show dairy in action; whenever I was there it was being cleaned. ;-) The restaurant is usually busy and the service is very nice and attentive. But my highlight is the integrated cheese shop! Lots of delicious cheeses! Also open on Sundays, a maximum of 5 minutes from the motorway exit.

A big disappointment that is not worth a visit. A glazed pyramid in the old-fashioned restaurant provides a view of the cauldron, nothing more. We specifically asked about the show dairy because we couldn't believe that was all. We were told rather unkindly that there was only the “window”. The 2 star is for the location. So the loss of time was small, because a trip would be a waste of time. It's better to visit a real cheese dairy. There isn't even anything to taste here (you might as well taste something.

A cheese dairy with an incredible selection, well-priced, own products, but also local Alpine cheese and a few Italian products. The house cheese (Formaggio del caseificio), for example, tastes incredibly good and has a kg price of an unbelievable CHF 12.80... while in Splügen in southern Graubünden, for example, the local cheese dairy prices its own productions at kg prices that are 3 times higher and even more. So it works like that, even if in Splügen you want to squeeze money out of the ignorant tourists driving past, in Airolo you probably rely on return visitors and customer loyalty. Another plus point: very friendly sales staff and right at the entrance to the Gotthard Pass. Exit from the Gotthard Tunnel (entry has not been permitted for some time). We will be back!

Great location just after the Gotthard pass. The staff were really pleasant - we were seated quickly and the service was great. The food was just about average considering the prices. We had a couple of schnitzels and both were really oily and bland.

From milk to cheese and butter... A stop here is a must! Last time I also got some raclette cheese which we enjoyed at home: the best I've ever tried! Don't forget to get advice from the super friendly and competent staff. We returned for the risotto review: delicious blueberries and porcini mushrooms and dessert with fresh blueberries. Absolutely must try!

I ate a lumpy and very alcoholic cheese fondue, having ordered it for an adult and a child they should have warned us that it contained a high quantity of alcohol. Just not good. Lazy staff, they made us sit down and we had to call them to order, at the end of dinner they never came to clear the table and ask for desserts and coffee, in the end we decided to ask for the bill and leave. At the time of payment we were not even greeted. Price a little high compared to the quality. Very large restaurant, adjacent parking spaces.

It is my tradition, when I am in Leventina, to visit the Casieficio del Gottardo in Airolo. Nice with lots of shopping options for: cheese, yogurt, beer, wine etc. Always had a good lunch/dinner, with plentiful dishes. Fair prices. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, to our requests. Very clean dairy and ample parking. Well done, keep going like this.

As soon as we entered we were surrounded by a cheese scent that sent us into ecstasy. Before the local restaurant there is the sales point, where you can find many locally produced dairy products. And we were already mouth watering. Then I finally tasted the rösti, the original one! Very good! We got it both with cheese and bacon and with added egg. Truly excellent! The desserts were delicious! Very welcoming, new, clean environment. Very kind staff.

Unfortunately, the last two times I was there for lunch I wasn't too satisfied with the taste of the assorted cheeses and the fondue which I remembered as better, but it's still a good product, fast and friendly service. The place could use a little more attention in terms of furnishings.
