Nice place but lousy performance. I cannot recommend the comedy program “Rampensau”. It wasn't funny or entertaining, it was shameful. To charge admission for this is even more important. No star...

Show "Rampensau Montag": Every funeral tops the comedian's here. Boring, humorless and yet every corpse has more charm 🤣🤣🤣 Just a shame... and I don't charge for it, it's probably the only joke in the whole thing....buuhhhh Sorry for the 1/5 stars, Grot bad buuhhhh

Amazing food and a superb theater experience

A very nice theater, very familiar. Toilets great! Clean and aesthetically pleasing. A star deduction for the lack of nobility in the theater room. Drinks are great, less PET and more glass (like with beer) would be perfection.

Eating at Fredy's is always a pleasure. The Momo's were simply great and we can only recommend them. The service was very nice and accommodating despite the restaurant being full.

The Fredi restaurant impresses with its authentic concept and matching menu. The extremely friendly service staff are absolutely friendly and accommodating. Bravo, keep it up!

Great building! But the building has nothing to do with a casino. Had a company dinner here, there were 2 table football tables. Janu. Food was generous, the veal was very tender but still almost bloody, the vegetables were still hard but it was still nice. Dessert was very good!

It is impressive what this artist community achieves independently on a private basis. Almost unbelievable compared to public theaters. Not only the program, but also the organization is right. The restaurant deserves special praise, also for the flexibility required given the circumstances.

Attended a stand up comedy show. Great theater. A bit awkward to reach the rear seats.

After the unpleasant experience of eating in the Fredi restaurant, we were able to have a great time at the 'class reunion' with Mike Müller in the casino theater. The seating in the theater is still such that taller people do not receive sufficient seating comfort.

New Year's Eve event with 4-course New Year's Eve menu, and New Year's Eve show with Massimo Rocchi. The food was very nicely prepared and extremely tasty. We were at a table of 8 and were able to talk to the people sitting next to us. The only negative point was that it was very loud in the hall. But that's hard to avoid with so many people. Massimo Rocchi's show was very funny. Is really recommended. After the show, the dining room was converted into a dance hall with a bar. Overall a very nice evening.

Silent noise Outside of the presentations, the music is awful because there's probably someone hard of hearing sitting at the mixing desk! What's wrong if a singer doesn't receive a dismissal after her performance? Wrong style of music and volume. While eating it is impossible to have a conversation due to the loud music at this price. The gaffer is probably still in training too! If the audience is blinded by spotlights, they obviously cannot see the performance! What kind of botched thinking led him to make such a beginner's mistake remains a mystery! It's a shame for the artists who showed absolute top performances. It's just as bad for the serving staff, who do their work for the enjoyment of the guests with a friendliness and charisma that is almost unheard of in Swiss gastronomy, even if the cuisine can only be rated average. There is still a lot of potential for improvement, especially in dessert. In my opinion, these criteria include the price of CHF 199 per person Fr. 80.-- Drinks without communication at the table, as impossible, too high. It's a shame that such mistakes are made!

DESIGNGUT from November 2nd - 5th, 23rd Wonderful small but fine exhibition of Swiss designers. There were many beautiful things to admire, for example. Felted stones, beautifully soft wool sweaters, dresses made from sustainable materials like bamboo. Also beautiful tableware and pottery.

My fiance and I went there for Christopher Fritz, the Austrian comedian. It was great! Totally worth it.

As always, the food was excellent and the service was attentive and courteous! The prices in a very pleasant range! We come here at least once every year! And we thought it was very generous that the woman who gave birth (my friend) received a nice plate with lukewarm chocolate cakes and a sparkler! Exciting program, always a pleasure

A beautiful theater with a lot of flair. Access to the rows is a bit clumsy and is only possible from one side. Staff is very friendly.

Of course it's not just about the program😉. The casino theater is always a highlight and it's nice to get a little distraction from everyday life there.

Freddis is really highly recommended in Winterthur - especially if you're going to an event afterwards. The food is very good - from vegetarian specialties to burgers 😋😋 everything is great - and the staff is also very nice. Always happy. 😉

Many people don't know this, but you can get married here in a civil ceremony. Very well located, you can take great pictures of the bride and groom in the area ❤️🔥

It is a very particular place, in the centre. I recommend it to cinema lovers (and others, because it is an excellent alternative to the usual TV in the room in the evening). ! At the bar they make excellent cocktails, even non-alcoholic ones! The hotel was clean and the breakfast was plentiful with excellent quality/price/Swiss ratio.. the staff at the reseption were super friendly and nice and help or make reservations if needed.. the train and coach station is a 5 minute walk away for all trips.

Great program with Technorama. "In vino scientia". It is very worthwhile to see the varied demonstration and to take part in some of it yourself. The accompanying dinner (3 courses) was of very good quality.

Classic theater with the charm of a bygone era. Very good location, just a few meters from the train station. Very friendly employees throughout the house. Always a great program that makes you think even after the event.

The performance was rather boring. I'm disappointed for the first time.

Centrally located with its own restaurant, nice large reception hall, clean toilets. The chairs in the hall are uncomfortable and everything is quite narrow, you can't walk to your seat from both sides, which can sometimes be annoying for the whole row given the narrow rows.

Small, neat theater. Centrally located. But because it is so small, the entrance area often becomes (over)filled. Unfortunately there is no “leadership” of the masses. And personally, I don't like it when the theater is only accessible from one side and the chairs on the other side are right up against the wall. Still highly recommended.

A beautiful building with great events that leave you wanting more. It breathes emotions that you can literally feel. Super friendly staff who are very interested and strive to give visitors a wonderful moment.

I was there at an event with a late lunch. The location is special but great. The kitchen and service did a great job. There are always good theater performances taking place there. The casino theater is not subsidized! There is also a very good restaurant in the casino theater. The casino theater is centrally located.

If you don't know the casino, you're really missing out on the opportunity to enjoy entertainment at the highest level in this venerable theater. Ideally, you combine your visit to the theater with a dinner at the excellent Fredis in the same building.

Friendly service and fine drinks.

Of course, the casino theater has a simple game, because you are visiting the place for a Kümstletin/an artist. So that's a plus point. But yes, the theater is nicely decorated. Looks a bit like the 40s to 60s. Much of the foier is made of wood, which looks quite charming and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. You do NOT have to print out your tickets. The barcode on the mobile phone is sufficient and is more environmentally friendly. I can highly recommend a visit to the bello Casinotheater Winterthue.

Very nice theater with a restaurant and many events (music, comedy, poetry slam, and many other events. Drinks are relatively expensive. Food I can't say but probably also in the upper price range. You also see certain comedy artists like Viktor Giacobbo and others every now and then Prices for events are relatively moderate. Location is very close to the train station. You just have to walk straight towards the city, about 5-10 minutes in the summer with an outdoor area.

Great service at the advance sales counter when exchanging vouchers. We're already looking forward to Oropax...
