Castel d'Uvrier in Sion

Very beautiful place, the renovation of this castle in the middle of the vineyards is truly superb. The meal was excellent and she was delighted to be able to drink very good wines by the glass. Thank you for this good time.

A magical place, a very pleasant relaxed welcome, a majestic meal

Le Castel is located in a splendid site, surrounded by a mosaic of vines, not very easy to access by car. But I suggest going up there and returning on foot, which will whet your appetite and will only take about ten minutes. And what's more, it's excellent for your health. The cuisine of chef Bruno Topazzini is excellent, he cooks venison in a remarkable way. In terms of wines, the restaurant is supplied by the excellent house Provins which presents its two exceptional wines, Eclat in white and Electus in red, two wines which wonderfully represent the wines of their beautiful region of Valais.

You just need a good compass to find this little castle, lost in the middle of the vineyards. Confidential, few tables, always full... and for good reason. No need to look for them in the "restaurants" sections of directories, or "suggestions" in guides... Like a private club, a place for insiders, they don't need this kind of "vulgar" advertising.

But what a lovely welcome... We enjoyed ourselves in a sumptuous setting... Remember to book... Superb!!!
