Super recommended for meat lovers. Always eaten at the top

Absolutely top restaurant. Grill visible in the restaurant, griller always ready for a quick chat. Super fine lamb rack and dry-aged eaten. We will be back. The only negative point: the waiter didn't offer water for our dog, but we are self-sufficient :-), no deduction for that. Some so-called declared steakhouses have to dress warmly. And that in Agno, not in a big city. Bravo!

We have already been once for dinner, by chance, and we had a good time. Went back today to try the brunch. The strong point of the place is the staff and the service: kind, friendly, fast and attentive. The food was very good and plentiful. We opted for poached eggs with salmon, croque m., mixed aff, pancakes, French toast and minosa. The portions are very generous and the prices are fair. An excellent Brunch! The menu has many more "breakfast" options, I would have liked to have a little more savory "lunch" options, for example a burger or sandwiches, tartare. However I recommend it and we will be back!

I've been for both dinner and brunch. As a vegetarian, I can say that dinner is good, but nothing compared to Sunday brunch... very good and lots of choice, both sweet and savory. I recommend reserving.

We have tried their brunch dishes several times and always had a great time. Well-kept place and pleasant atmosphere, both inside and outside.

Very practical and easy to understand menu with all the meats detailed by quality and maturation time. Dishes always presented in a nice and friendly way. Very delicious and nice dishes. Recommended to everyone.

Brunch not bad. I took the option with poached eggs, salad and added avocado. A rather poor dish, I expected more. The real sore point is that the avocado was frozen and ruined the harmony of the dish a bit. They probably keep it ready in the refrigerator and serve it at that temperature. Not many people have brunch in Lugano so we are satisfied.

How wonderful to find pieces of meat like in France with staff who know so much about the origins of the meat and the taste. They kindly moved us one table away to give us the privacy we wanted. Very good Portuguese wine and relaxing atmosphere with soft loundge music. I truly recommend for lovers of high quality products.

I highly recommend this place. I seriously risked my health with their dry-aged steak. I had unfortunate food poisoning, with simultaneous vomiting and diarrhea, as well as severe cramps and intestinal pain. I'm sorry to say it, but it's the simple truth. I suffered for two whole days, fearing that I had been infected by who knows what pathogen. Luckily I didn't finish it because it was really big, even though it was delicious I have to admit it still made me feel terrible. I called the next day to report the problem to the owners in a civil manner, hoping that they would do the necessary checks. The person on the phone said that their meat was perfect and that perhaps the problem was caused by excessive drinking on my part. The reality is that I only had a glass of wine with dinner at their place and I only ate their meat and potatoes, nothing else! Various hypotheses were proposed to me, whether it was this or that, but what were they implying? Then they asked me what I wanted? Proposing to offer me an aperitif, aperitif?!? But I will never set foot in that place again! Instead of being worried about the quality of their products or what happened to one of their customers, they offer aperitifs as if this were my intention. I have no intention of returning to request anything. I could have reported them to the authorities and the cantonal laboratory, but I preferred to inform them politely. And how did they treat me? No thank you. I almost would have preferred to keep this episode to myself, but I believe it is right and appropriate to share my experience, so that this establishment adopts more rigorous controls and provides better training to their staff on handling situations like this. Be careful in this place and what you eat.

Extremely courteous staff, they really go beyond simple hospitality: my friends and I needed to go to another place after drinking an excellent glass of rosé and the owner, after trying to contact taxis in vain, offered to take us himself with his car! Truly unexpected!!! We will definitely be back!

The food was good but unfortunately we had no choice other than t-bone steak cut or in one piece. Service was very nice and well trained. The price for 100g t-bone was between 13 & 15€. So we had to take at least 750g which consisted of 70% fat and bones. But the meat was of good quality. I found it a bit too expensive for this piece. I know better things cheaper. But if you're into t-bone, you're welcome to give it a try.

Restaurant on the street but too expensive for families. 2 adults and 2 children 286 euros. Too much... even if it was a nice piece of beef

We were there for a brunch, good food on average but the staff and service were really terrible (drinks forgotten, products on the menu now finished, including those already ordered and reported to the waiter even if the time was average, long waits both for the order, both between one course and another, not to mention that we were forgotten together with 4 other tables for about half an hour, finally you offer a classic method sparkling wine every Sunday but if I ask for it they bring me a glass with it inside I don't know what, at least clarity and service I expect for 12fr per dl). I understand the amount of people but if they can't manage it it's easier to say we're full than to have a bad memory for a customer

Highest quality meat, trained staff. Wide choice of meats from all over Europe and various maturations. The only flaw I think is that the prices are high and not affordable for everyone. But you pay for quality

We ate excellently. A T-bone steak made from Wolowinka and risotto. The boss was very accommodating and “explained” his various cuts of meat. The choice was still not easy. We were even able to watch our meat sizzle on the grill. A meat lover who has never been here? Lived in vain!

Just amazing. Friendly service, a selection of meat that you can just dream of and wine paired accordingly. Such a great spot for anything, from dinners with friends to formal meetings and everything in between. Conviviality should be the name of this place, I’d give 7 stars if only I could.

One of the best restaurants I've been to in a long time. Place was fully booked but the waiter squeezed us in, fully explained table was required back in 1 hour but then looked after us (2 young children) fantastically! Pushed our order through to ensure we had enough time to eat. Food itself was great, cooked perfectly to my taste but if undercooked they bring a small grill to the side table to cook to your desired doneness. Overall fantastic restaurant, highly recommend.

We ate a wonderful rib-eye, truly exceptional meat. I'm taking away a star because the price is a little too high: 180 fr for two, meat with two portions of chips and water.

A really good Sunday brunch. We had eggs Benedict and French toast, both delicious, generous portions. Booking necessary, the place was fully booked.

The food is good, the guys are nice, but the only flaw is the waitress who is arrogant and rude, she almost threw the plates at our heads!

The location is beautiful, the food is very good and the quality of the raw materials is of an excellent level. All the staff are friendly and attentive to customer needs. I would say the final bill is in line with the quality.

Sunday brunch is excellent. Delicious Eggs Benedict served on toast instead of the classic English muffin, which I personally find to be a good choice, seasoned with a very well prepared hollandaise sauce. Perfect French toast, generous portions and very kind staff.. I don't know if it's understood, but the place is recommended 😉

After a very long time I managed to organize a dinner at Cavagna with two friends. I had heard great things about it, it was time to judge for myself! Delicious appetizers, wonderful tacks! Excellent service and environment, excellent first experience and certainly not the last.

It was the first time I ate there, we had hamburgers and tartare and ordered a bottle of lugana. the wine was hot, we pointed it out but it was not changed, the fried potatoes were immersed in oil, inedible, pointed out but none reaction, we ordered water, never brought, there were 2 of us, the waiter didn't even remember who ate what, okay, plus full wine was taken away from us, I noticed it and it was brought back, poor service

Absolutely the. Best on the market... Meat quality, service and professionalism... High prices... But very motivated... try it to believe it!!! Not for all wallets, but at the end of dinner, there's even a tip!! Fabulous!! Absolutely must try! Even my 3 year old son can't wait to go back!!

It's a very nice atmosphere. The price-performance ratio is perfect. The service was very friendly and attentive! He put in a lot of effort. The food, especially the meat, was incredibly tasty. Also a lot and large portions. It is highly recommended. We were thrilled and would always love to come back.

The availability of the staff is very good, they are ready and prepared to respond to any request regarding the meats they offer. The meats, the restaurant offers above all large cuts of grilled meats, are excellent and allow you to choose between different origins and quantities.

Personally, I have always felt very comfortable. The burgers are a delight and judging by the satisfied faces of those around us I think the other dishes on the menu too (perhaps a small flaw: we didn't like the chips taken with the burger very much because they were very "oily", but on the different types of side dish to choose from are available on the menu). Modern and very well looked after place. Welcoming, helpful and courteous staff. Quite popular, so I recommend booking.
