Very nice raclette evening over a wood fire. The cheese was excellent, cooking over a wood fire gives it such a special taste, that you won't find anywhere else! Absolutely worth trying if you are in the area!

For a Valentine's Day evening, expensive and disgusting menu. When you don't have a kitchen, and only a stupid microwave and 2 pancake plates, you don't offer a Valentine's Day menu or an all-course menu.

We were there for the raclette evening. Just HORRIBLE. The raclette was heated outside on an open fire and plate by plate was carried into the restaurant in small portions. Firstly, the cheese was cold by the time it was at the table and secondly, everything tasted completely bitter because of the char that remained on the cheese. The package deal should have included a fresh fruit salad for dessert. But there wasn't. A fattening Tyrolean cake was served instead. We knew the location from the previous year. The raclette was being scraped inside and there was a solo entertainer there. It was a very enjoyable evening, so the rather dingy atmosphere and the sparse, unfriendly service didn't bother us. Now even more so. As a replacement for the musician, a video with the same crooner from Greece was shown throughout the evening. Great choice... And what's with the raclette on the outdoor grill? They didn't even use real wood. Seemed so hurriedly improvised. The raclette oven was probably defective. The only praiseworthy thing is the wine. A nice selection of very good Valais wines.

AWAY +++ quickly, lousy catering is disgusting, ham omelette which is saturated with oil (like an oil sponge) I'm still burping about it 4 hours later...
