We had dinner in a restaurant with very friendly staff. And what about the food? Excellent, even more so. Super recommended.

The two of us went there for lunch and we both really enjoyed it. We sat at a table for two with a view of the garden, just great. Luckily we only ordered one portion of mixed salad, which was enough for both of us. Another appetizer was the ravioli. The main course was the brilliant porcini mushroom risotto and veal steaks. Neither of us have ever had a better veal steak. I can say for both of us that everything was prepared and served extremely well. Thank you for this great hospitality.

It's been a long time since we've been to the Centovalli. It all started with a warm welcome and great service. There were even special gluten-free rolls for our guest with a gluten allergy. We also received expert advice about gluten when eating. The food was once again a dream. The lamb fillets were very tender and the risotto was, as always, a poem. And the salad with the homemade vinegar is reduced to the essentials, but simply good. And the panna cotta is a must for me every time. Everything is just right here and is worth every franc. We'll be back soon. Grace!

Dear Centovalli team Today we were with you and now I'm finally writing this review. We visited your hotel and restaurant for the first time in the summer of 2016 and we have been coming every year since then. Now we “just” eat, as we have found our permanent home in the region. You guys have been our favorite place to eat since our first visit. The meat and the risotto are simply fantastic! There is probably no better risotto and the ambience as well as the service is great :) The hotel is also just great, we loved it with you and we also have fond memories of the breakfast. Everyone who comes to this region should be your guest!! Thank you Renato and Astrid for your wonderful hospitality and of course the whole team. We look forward to visiting you for many more years. This restaurant evokes feelings of paradise, the food is so good, and of course you eat the risotto here, the BEST risotto around. The rice is perfectly cooked and the creamy duet of gorgonzola and porcini mushrooms is simply sensational. Beware of the risk of addiction. And the house wine, a blend of Merlot, Cabarnet Sauvignon and Marselan, rounds it all off. I would like to give it 6⭐️!

Albergo with a great location at the entrance to the Valle Maggia, many beautiful swimming areas on the river within walking distance, the area is a dream anyway - hotel with clean, beautifully furnished rooms, art on the wall, restaurant with pergola highly recommended, the best is this one Familiar, warm and perfect service that you can experience as a guest.

The food was consistently excellent: the beef fillet was buttery soft and perfectly cooked and the house risotto with Gorgonzola and porcini mushrooms was one of the best I have ever eaten. Not a bargain in terms of price, but worth the price. By the way, the service is just as perfect as the food: always attentive and super friendly. Conclusion: you have to visit it 👍

I can’t say anything that hasn’t been said already, so just trust the sterling reviews. Comfortable dining rooms, welcoming staff, and absurdly good food. This risotto is the stuff of legend. 70+ years of continuous service helmed by a lovey family that takes great pride in what it does. Very memorable experience and a great way to appreciate value in dining out.

The food was great! The risotto was amazing. My fillet was also sensational, unfortunately my husband had one that was a little more cooked. We were pleasantly surprised! The cantuccini were fantastic. The service was friendly.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at Ristorante Centovalli. Particularly worth mentioning is the very friendly service (e.g. Giorgio), the warm treatment of our baby, the beautiful location itself and of course the very tasty dishes (risotto with beef fillet😋... Risotto al gorgonzola e funghi is always a pleasure! The hospitality and courtesy of the entire team is also worth mentioning! Especially the gesture of the head waiter who readily replaced not only the glass but also the contents free of charge (!), which my wife broke due to a mishap. This restaurant really makes you feel welcome and valued! I give this 110 out of 100 points! We were in the beautiful garden at the beginning of August.

Initially very likeable: great ambience, nice head waiter and what is said to be the best risotto in the region. However, the trip turned into a somewhat strange lunch. The waiter was quite pushy and almost decisively said we had to order again. The food was great, but a bit too expensive at 100 CHF. The crowning finale was Sister Pia Fromm, who said we should hold back a bit with affection - after we had already paid. Thank you very much, we will look for another restaurant next time.

Unfortunately we are not allowed to visit the restaurant. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant and there is no service outside due to the weather (“it is wet, we were informed by telephone request”. It is not raining, and the forecast does not show any rain during lunchtime opening times). It's a shame that there isn't a weather-protected area for dog owners.

Delicious meal. It's worth it. Don't forget to reserve as early as possible otherwise you will come away empty-handed.

Extremely delicious risotto with beef fillet, preceded by gazpacho and then homemade ice cream. All this with super-friendly service under grapes in a beautiful location. Pure enjoyment, definitely recommended!

Great! Beautiful, homely location, super friendly service and a fabulous risotto. The quality of the meat is excellent and I would try the homemade ravioli that is not often mentioned. They are also very good! Will definitely come back.

After more than 20 years I was back. The garden is a dream, the service quick and attentive. The daily special was perfect and still plentiful.

Very friendly reception. Very nice hosts. Extremely friendly staff. You feel very welcome. The dinner in the in-house restaurant was more than excellent and, although the price was certainly not low, it was also very rich. The service is very attentive and competent. The guest feels very comfortable. The breakfast was rich, the regional bread was very fine and fresh, the cheese from the region, the egg a la minute, the coffee was good, fresh muesli was offered, jams were homemade - the only small defect at a high level: a little ham or cold cuts would be the icing on the cake. We'll definitely be back!

Simply unique for me for many years. The risotto is a poem and the veal steak is juicy and tender.

The risotto was the best I‘ve ever had my a landslide! Both the beef filet and the special (lamb) was cooked to perfection. The creamy asparagus soup an an appetizer was also great. Overall some great food, will definitely come back

Everything is always just right here. the service is very attentive and extremely generous. Even our camping dishes were washed - free of charge :-) I only asked if I could wash 2 cups and 2 plates in the toilet. The atmosphere is wonderful both inside and outside. stylishly furnished, but completely comfortable and homely, so not overstyled. And what's particularly nice is that there is also local food here, not a tourist stall like so often in Ticino. As always, the food was excellent value for money and very filling. and wonderfully good. We can hardly wait to go back to Ticino. grazie mille!!!!

I should actually give it 5 stars because the quality of the food and the service and attentiveness of the staff were really outstanding. I deducted a star because we lacked an explanation of the philosophy: We were there for the first time and early in the evening and couldn't look anywhere, so we were amazed when we received an empty plate and then a rechaud with a large plate of risotto to ladle ( a must). This is part of the menu (theoretically for one person) and is easily enough for 2 if not 3 people. If you only had the card you would be a bit lost, because then you would perhaps order 2 menus. Although you could actually order 1 menu for 2 people plus another portion of meat or similar separately. The salad for the starter also comes in a bowl and is also enough for 2-3 people. Caspacio was super tasty and to my delight I received a fourth piece of lamb fillet. Because the meat is distributed separately for all guests at the same time on a large platter on the terrace at the tables and then they just have it as long as it lasts. Each guest is entitled to at least 3 pieces, and if someone only wants 2, the rest will be distributed. An actually very exciting concept with a certain show effect. Oh what the heck, I still give it 5 stars (Bravo!)

A place that wants to be upscale. Unfortunately the risotto which is supposed to be the best in the region is a soup that is too salty and tastes like a sauce. The place is charming. It's very pleasant to eat under the vines. I couldn't recommend this place enough, and I'm surprised by the good comments about the risotto.

We stayed at the Albergo 2 nights. We were welcomed at 10PM in the evening, and were greeted with a simple dish, despite the kitchen being closed already. We didnt realize that the restaurant is famouse for its risotto until the next evening, when we were lucky to get a table. You need to have a reservation for the trstaurant, otherwise chances are very slim that you get a table. Thank you for this amazing experience!

Sehr schön im Grünen gelegenes typisches Tessiner Restaurant, der Gorgonzola-Risotto ist absolut empfehlenswert. Ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Haus sowie eine Eisenbahnstation ist nicht weit entfernt. Wir kommen gerne zum Nachtessen in den idyllischen Gartenbereich und lassen den Tag ausklingen. Hunde sind willkommen:-)

Es war einfach nur köstlich und der Gorgonzola-Geschmack hielt sich zum Glück in Grenzen. Für Kinder eher nicht geeignet da es keine Kinder-Karte hat und von den Speisen her eher eine kleine Auswahl vorhanden ist. Das Ambiente ist elegant-rustikal gehalten und das Personal war extrem aufmerksam.
