I really like the concept of this hotel. The Madré Nostra terrace is great with a great après-ski atmosphere thanks to the music from the bar below! Pleasant and efficient service. The menu is varied and the dishes are good. It's not cheap and the portions are rather small. Lack of choice in desserts 😋

If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would!! Everything was fantastic from the start! The bread and the olive oil was a great start! The food I can’t even begin to explain, in the absolute best way possible! Ask them for a wine recommendation they will knock it out of the park! We got a little of everything we forgot to take a few pictures. If you get Theresa you will be very lucky she was the best!!

Madre Nostra was recommended by a friend, and it didn't disappoint. Alina, our attentive server, was very knowledgeable about the menu and guided us through our choices. The food was incredible, as was the wine. The veal escalope was superb. Unfortunately we sat next to a group of Americans, who always seem to have at least one loud person who takes over, this did spoil the ambience of a beautiful, sophisticated restaurant. Obviously no fault of the restaurant but stopped us giving a 5 for atmosphere.

Alina made a great meal fantastic. We had the charcuterie board to start, the venison rigatoni, and shared the tiramisu. All were amazing. One of our favorite meals in Zermatt.

CATASTROPHIC service. Everything starts badly, we reserve for 8:30 p.m. the table will be ready for 9:00 p.m.! Not a word of apology! In short we find ourselves at a makeshift table, it is not possible to meet face to face with my partner, unhappy with this situation we insist on changing tables, finally they respond to our request. It's time to drink, we order 2 glasses of white wine, with a carafe of sparkling water, and 1 glass of wine arrives with water where you can count the bubbles but quickly, because in 5 minutes they have disappeared. Finally the meal we chose the fish of the day, with risotto and vegetables as an accompaniment. We are served a risotto without the dish supposed to accompany it and for vegetables, the minimum! 2 slices of zucchini + 2 half cherry tomatoes price CHF 10.00 with old and dry bread served to us To finish the wrong bill no. 1 with billing for a risotto as a main course. 2nd false addition we are charged for 3 glasses of white wine instead of two. I regret but for a restaurant that is listed in a hotel 5 🌟 I expected much better. On the other hand, nothing to complain about the flavor and presentation of the dish.

Benedicte the waitress was absolutely amazing. She was attentive and gave the best recommendations. We just got engaged and decided on making this our dinner to celebrate. And couldn’t be happier about it. Personally best dinner I’ve ever had. The spaghetti with anchovi butter was delicious.

Very stylish restaurant with a wonderful view on the Matterhorn. One of the highlights is the sunny rooftop. The food is good, but quite expensive. The parties are also great (new years party and also après-ski). Their DJ, Josh Vincenzo, is the best in town. We love to come back every time we visit Zermatt.

Professional welcome, warm service!!! Unfortunately, communication with the service was not in Swiss German/German (and that in Switzerland), wine was not refilled (we helped ourselves), the food was somewhat bland, but the quality was high! Tea water temperature too low. Negroni is great. The iced tea was served with a pasta straw, (basically a good idea but...) Service was informed about our son's gluten intolerance through the orders. Unfortunately, price-performance doesn't match.

This is the best restaurant in Zermatt! It is a MUST GO! They have the best wines, good food combinations, entourage and the sweetest people. Always a pleasure, we look forward to next year.

Nothing special, wouldn’t recommend it. Pasta was Ok, starters were indifferent. The beef tartar combination was bad and the bone marrow was small and covered with parsley which overshadowed the flavours.

An amazing dinner experience! Would definitely recommend the risotto, ravioli and tiramisu. Truly from beginning to end, we loved every starter to the dessert. Alina (our server) was excellent and attentive!

The food and service were amazing. Very attentive, and everything we tried on the menu was delicious. I wish we were staying longer to come here again. We highly recommend the ravioli. Plus you cannot beat the view on the way up there.

We went back 2 other times. Really nice traditional Italian pasta and meat. They start with a focaccia and two different olive oils to die for.

Our favorites are : crudo, capocollo and black angus. The crudo was well seasoned and the fish was sweet. The Capocollo is super tender. The side of bazar fries were amazing too. The tiramisu and chocolate tart were very good.

EAT HERE!! Staying in Zermatt for a few days and dined here for our first night. Being so close to Italy we were excited to find a place so well reviewed. It did not disappoint!! Amazing atmosphere on the terrace overlooking Zermatt with views of the Matterhorn - simply breathtaking. The food was also AMAZING! You have to start with the Panzanella for your first course - life changing. Also ask for a table with Johanna! So nice and helped us find a great fondue place for the next night 😄 enjoy!

On Sunday we enjoyed a wonderful lunch on the terrace with a unique view of the Matterhorn. First-class pasta dishes and a glass of Franciacorta. The service was very good and professional. We'll definitely be back!

Super nice service and excellent Pasta

The burger and especially the cervo fries (with Truffle) are amazing. The atmosphere is a bit cold, but fortunately the staff is very friendly.

Cool after ski hangout with an upscale, well-kept and attractive design and decor. You meet here if you want to get away from the hit party with very young audiences at other locations. It felt like 30+ based on the age of the guests.

I can only rate the Apresski location here. The view is a dream and the location right on the valley run is great. Appropriate to the location, Apres Ski takes place here in the upper price segment. There is also good live music or DJs. What leads to a star deduction for us is the price/performance ratio of the drinks. Of course we are in Zermatt but 2 average cocktails for almost 40 francs is not appropriate for apres ski. Sorry P.S. The smoke in the cocktail is our own creation and cannot be attributed to the bar 😉

Cute restaurant inside the hotel (bit hard to find). The food was delicious and the servers were very friendly.

Italian restaurant with a good welcome. Delicious Risotto al Funghi. On the other hand, very approximate French (we are in Switzerland in a bilingual canton!!!) in short….. and the carafe of tap water charged CHF 9.- even though we ate and drank wine…. This is your means! The restaurant was recommended to me but I would not recommend it and would not come back!

Came here for both après ski and dinner. The après on the terrace was great, with live music from downstairs. The dinner at the restaurant was great too, with particularly good service. Portions should still be larger for pasta dishes ordered as mains, not ok to still beer hungry after paying 40.- for agnolotti plin. On the other hand, nice portion and super delicious pork capocollo, highly recommended. The tiramisu was great too, if you like it with thick consistency.

Restaurant located in the CERVO hotel. Remember to book in advance for the evening because it quickly sells out several days in advance! If you want to stop for lunch after finishing the trail, no waiting required. Warm places with a pleasant quality of service. I chose the pesto pasta which was delicious! It's not a pretentious restaurant at all and the prices are fair. I highly recommend it !

Our experience tonight was pretty good, until we ordered 3 of special which was a “tomahawk steak”. At first they told us unfortunately they had run out. No problem. Then miraculously they said yes they had 3 available. Ok great ! The starters came out they were all good maybe a 7/10. The wine was great fairly priced we were very happy with that. Keep in mind we were a party of 13. We ordered the tomahawks medium rare. They came out literally still with a heart beat. We asked to have them done slightly more because it was not appetizing the way they had come out. They then over cooked the steaks and they were about a 4/10. We were starving from skiing all day so we ate them with the expectation of most likely having to pay 100-175. We then had tiramisu and espresso which was great 9/10. THE BOMB SHELL IS WHEN THE BILL CAME 375 per tomahawk . Not even at the best steak houses in the US from NY to MIAMI would you pay that for a PREMIUM piece of meat. This meat wasn’t prepared properly and I had to spit half of it out while I picked the tendons out of the chewy meat. It’s a shame that this was our experience because the place is beautiful our server was pleasant and Zermatt is just incredible. They saw nothing wrong with the unappealing dish and then charged us like it was covered in gold.

I pay with my debit card , after say that was a mistake , they changed but they never cancel the other pay . So that i pay two times the same dinner.

We had a fantastic dinner at Madre Nostra. If you want excellent service and excellent food, this is the right place for you. The ravioli al tartufo are highly recommended! We'd love to come back.
