Chalet de La Berra in La Roche

After walking uphill, there's nothing better than a good meal! Great restaurant, very welcoming staff, thank you very much!

Beautiful place, all in wood, very well renovated and the view is superb. Too bad the kitchen doesn't follow suit. Cordon bleu much overcooked and very dry, fries not good and not salty, tartare with too much Worcester sauce, chalet macaroni with cream and onion, you only smell the onion. It’s a shame because the place is very beautiful…

I’m sorry, you really need to change your chief, the food is barely eatable and improve the service, it’s a pity for such a wonderful chalet. We tried quite all the menu, and the only normal dish is the salad. Please improve, we’ll come back.

I ate there during the season and everything is perfect. The service is fast, the waiters polite and dedicated, the food delicious and the quality/price ratio is well worth it. Everything you can ask for from a mountain restaurant: a magnificent view and top service. I would come back this winter to also enjoy the slopes.

The place is superb, but the service is below everything... You have to be patient; after 25 minutes of waiting, no one comes to take the order (it's not for lack of asking...) and this is unfortunately not the first time.

The fondue was not good, the smell of cornflour was stronger than the smell of cheese and the fondue was too thick; an indefinable mush! The waitress apologized and said that they were “trying out” a new cheese mixture. Not necessarily a recommended restaurant; Pity!

Beautiful mountain pub just below the summit of 'La Berra'. After climbing the summit and enjoying the great view, we were able to enjoy a delicious fondue in the Chalet de la Berra. We thought the food was good, but unfortunately the service was a bit overwhelmed. Well, it was the weekend and there were a few day trippers. You don't always have to stress. In connection with the beautiful hike, the pub is definitely recommended.

Very disappointed, after a long wait we asked if it was possible to take our order, a not very friendly yes….we waited again for 20 minutes….and still no one to take our order despite the few customers; We left and we won't come back.

My son ate the cordon bleu... I tasted it and the meat was spoiled. He still finished it... vomited all night. The filthy roesti... old potatoes grated in advance and tasteless... I wouldn't recommend this restaurant even to my worst enemy! Looking back at your comment, I see that you do not take your customers seriously and despite the very good commitment of your waitresses, I deplore the fact that a cook can prepare and serve a spoiled product without scruple. As for the Rösti dried out and grated the day before, that confirms the lack of professionalism of your establishment! No need to respond to this comment! If the cook does not notice that a product is spoiled, change it! It is unacceptable !

Beautiful restaurant, functional, crowded at the exit of the ski lift. The charm of the mountain is no longer there. Is it necessary to find fries, nuggets, flamkueche...?

Overwhelmed staff, friendly waitress like a prison door (made us move to another table; the table reserved in the name of Gaillard was for Gaillard de la Roche, their private table, If we had arrived later no more room) rösti an inedible mush. Put one star because we cannot give a negative. AVOID if you are not from La Roche

We had not reserved for the Benichon...after insistence...there were three people...we were served a plate of ham...cabbage...potatoes for 28 Francs per plate. Couldn't finish...would be better at 25 francs and less waste. Otherwise everything was very good...friendly staff....recommended.

Good Service, great dinner! Truly still one of the rare “real” restaurants in increasingly touristy regions. Simply a Star at La Berra compared to Restaurants/Tourist Regions in Grindelwald, Gstaad, Zermatt.

Melted half and half not good, chewing gum and greasy texture, despite it being mixed properly and lukewarm. The boss was not friendly, apparently it was us who didn't know how to mix. Thanks to the sommelier who offered us the coffees.

Magnificent refreshment bar completely renovated in 2021. Super friendly and welcoming staff. The dishes are prepared with care and with fresh local produce. I highly recommend and we will return with great pleasure. Thank you for the time spent in your establishment.
