Lovely place to have dinner. Lovely food served here and friendly staff.

The restaurant was packed, it was extremely noisy, not pleasant and the waitress wasn't honest with us. The parking situation was, by the way, a bit of a disaster

Very nice atmosphere with tremendous food. You have to make sure reserve well ahead as it is always booked and rather small and cosy place. You would not regret it.

Magnificent terrace! Fine food in a best location! Always worth a visit even without skis.

Horrible experience. The blonde manager with short hair is rude and disrespectful towards the customer. After serving us he waited for us to leave by repeatedly approaching the table and asking us several times if we had paid.

Panoramic view and welcoming service

We were just lucky to stumble upon this restaurant for dinner. We called and asked if they happened to have a table for 2 coming soon and…yes! In 15 minutes we were sitting at a cozy table in a small restaurant. We wanted to try the set from the chef, but the price of 185 francs scared us, so we ordered dishes from the menu. The dishes are extraordinary, tasty, the combination of flavors was very successful. The service corresponds to the prices in the restaurant. The location is excellent, with a beautiful view. I recommend it for connoisseurs of delicious food, refined but simple, cozy atmosphere without too much chic.

Wir waren zum Lunch im Chasellas und wurden haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Lokal, oberhalb von St. Moritz und Teil des Bekannten Suvretta-House empfängt die Gäste mit herzlicher (Berg)atmosphäre. Die Mittagskarte, die sich von der Abendkarte unterscheidet, bietet für jeden Geschmack leckere Gerichte zu fairen Preisen. Wir haben uns für die Klassiker Cordon-Bleu und dem Wienerschnitzel entschieden und wurden nicht enttäusch. Beide Gerichte hervorragend zubereitet und ohne jeden Zweifel erhaben.Auch die Weinkarte ist sehr breit aufgestellt und auch hier, äusserst faire Preise.Ausserdem wurden wir von Frau Sterki sehr kompetent und nett bedient - danke hierfür!Wir kommen wieder.

Ein absolutes Highlight. Es war fantastisch. Begonnen hat es mir der unglaublich netten Antwort per Mail auf unsere Reservationsanfrage, über die Begrüssung, die Vorspeise und der Hauptgang. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und lassen uns von Fr. Sterki und ihrem Team verwöhnen. Danke vielmals.

Zum Lunch beim Skifahren eine gemütliche Alternative weg vom lauten Pistenrummel, aber trotzdem direkt am Sessellift. Wir waren draussen auf der Sonnen Terrasse. Die Linsensuppe, die Pommes und der Hackbraten schmeckten fein. Die Bedienung war auf Zack und sehr nett. Preislich jedoch leicht übertrieben - auch wenn man‘s hat.

Nach mehreren Jahren mal wieder zum Skilunch im Chasellas. Toll das weiterhin ohne Reservation Platz genommen werden kann. Bedienung sehr aufmerksam. Essen OK aber, ohne jammern zu wollen, zu teuer. Wer sparen will muss nicht zum Skilaufen. Aber es sollte doch noch Verhältnismässig sein.

No he estado en este lugar en al menos 20 años (sin ninguna razón en particular). Vine para un buen almuerzo de invierno. Excelente servicio con personal extremadamente amable y servicial a pesar de nuestros pedidos particulares.La comida (especialidades alpinas suizas sin las campanas y silbidos innecesarios) fue simplemente increíble. ¡Vale cada centavo!

My favorite restaurant for lunch while skiing. Be sure to eat one of the daily recommendations. Excellent food. Expensive by German standards but worth the price.

Wir drei verbrachten einen wirklich tollen Abend in diesem Restaurant und genossen sehr leckeres Essen, großartige Weine und Champagner, eine ruhige und sehr entspannte Atmosphäre und einen sehr freundlichen und gutaussehenden Gastgeber.

Man sitzt auf der Terrasse sehr schön, das tröstet über das geschmacklich akzeptable aber ziemlich teure Essen mit kleinen Portionen hinweg. Deswegen eher fürs Kaffeetrinken geeignet als für den großen Hunger.

Refined restaurant, excellent and creative cuisine (some dishes perhaps too creative, such as potato gnocchi with fresh tomatoes and rocket...) fast, attentive, professional service. The appetizer with warm red river prawns on a bed of salad and dried cherry tomatoes is excellent. It is located in the Engadine/Swiss Alps just before arriving in St.Moritz. A small restaurant, very cozy and fine food!

Das relativ kleine Restaurant ist hübsch mit Holz gestaltet, bei schönem Wetter hat es eine tolle Terrasse! Die Bedienung ist sehr nett! Alles wunderbar, nur das Essen . Der (hausgemachte?) Hackbraten war gar nichts ! Praktisch bestehend nur aus Brät, war das Hackbraten? auch das Kartoffelpüree dazu, viel zuviel Butter! Die Heidelbeertorte viel zu süss und kaum Geschmack. Sehr schade! Wir waren sehr enttäuscht.

Very friendly welcome and service, exciting menu. My salad looked like a bouquet of flowers, tasted great and the gnocci with olives were wonderful. A little more veggie selection would be great (without fish/pasta/risotto).

Cenato con amici in questa Stube tradizionale, molto curata.Buone proposte nel menu, con rapporto qualitâ prezzo di fascia medio alta, tipico per questa localitâ turistica, ma il cibo è ben presentato e cucinato. GEntilezza e attenzione nel servizio hanno completato la piacevole serata in compagnia. Da ripetere!

Wir haben ein Getränk und eine Wurst mit Rösti bestellt. Wie man eine Wurst in 5 Minuten brät, erschließt sich uns nicht, außer sie ist schon vorgebraten worden und wird kurz angewärmt. So hat sie auch geschmeckt. Das man dann auf einen nachbestellten Salat deutlich länger warten muss, weil die Bedienkraft schön alle Orders in der Reihenfolge der Bestellung an die Küche abgibt ist auch nicht der Servicelevel, den man in einem Restaurant dieser Preisklasse erwartet. Darauf angesprochen, wird man auch noch schön pampig darauf hingewiesen, dass man ja erst später bestellt hätte.

Super Essen und gemütliches Ambiente zu einem fairen Preis. Die Aussichtsterrasse ist super. Die Bedienung freundlich. Innen ist das Restaurant sehr altmodisch und gemütlich eingerichtet. Auch Skifahrer in Ausrüstung sind willkommen.

We waren hier jaren geleden en toen was het geen onverdeeld genoegen, maar op uitnodiging van vrienden om hen hier te ontmoeten, kwamen we terug. De bediening was zeer vriendelijk, het decor zag er prima uit en de menukaart lekker, met lokale specialiteiten. Ik had de wiener schnitzel en die was prima. Lekker dun, mooie korst. Groente erbij in plaats van rösti en die waren zeer verzorgd en divers. Duidelijk aandacht aan besteed en dat was prettig om te merken. Prijzen gemiddeld voor het gebied.

Die Lage ist gut und der Ausblick wunderbar. Wenn Geld absolut keine Rolle spielt der ideal Ort. Wenn man doch ein wenig aufs Budget schauen muss bekommt man fürs Geld fast nicht. Die vegetarischen Gnocchis sind ihr Geld absolut nicht Wert und auch ein Salat für 22.- CHF ist einfach zu viel. Das T-Bond Steak war gut, nur 89 .- ist doch überissen! Beim Weiss Wein einfach den günstigsten Österreich auswählen, gibt es auch als Magnum da macht man nichts falsch.

Zur Vorspeise wurde uns schon der Hauptgang (Schnitzel und Backhändl) gebracht, mit der Frage wo das noch hingestellt werden könne!!!. Die Bedienung schenkte die zweite Flasche Rotwein auf den Restwein der ersten Flasche in die gleichen Gläser. Völlig ungenügend!!! Auf der Rechnung waren dann noch zwei Hauptgerichte zuviel. Vielen Dank "Nie wieder"!

nettes authentisches restaurant mit schöner Terrasse für mittags oberhalb des Suvretta Hotels. Das Essen ist sehr ansprechend und für St. Moritz ist sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Mit die freundlichsten im Service!

The Chasellas offers very good food. I am not eating meat but my friends tell me frequently to try the Wiener schnitzel because it is so good. My own experience with non-meat dishes was so far very good. I especially like to sit on the terrace which offers great view down the valley. The interesting part is that you even can sit outside in the winter if the sun is shining. I remember a lunch here, sitting in the sun at 10 degrees Celsius below freezing point without freezing. I mean, the meal was cold pretty fast, but it was wonderful to sit there.Anyway - of course it it much nicer if the weather is warm. But you can also sit inside (not very much room, so a reservation might make sense).The prices are very reasonable for St. Moritz. Parking is free and just in front of the building.

Although the service was good, and the views were lovely, the food was a let down. Sadly the rosti was under-cooked and a bit cold. The other people with us seemed to get a better meal but we have had much better elsewhere. I have heard that the chef had changed and perhaps the new one was settling in, but rosti is not challenging really for half decent chef so I was not impressed. As a result, after the rosti and the drinks, we left. Didn't feel inspired to have a dessert....

Una perla tra le montagne dell’engadina, il ristorante Chesellas, sempre una buona idea dove andare per una cena romantica, ma anche una serata in famiglia. Ottimi piatti serviti in un’atmosfera che ha il sapore di casa! La giovane coppia che gestisce il locale, lei in sala e lui in cucina, garantisce un ottimo servizio, sia per bravura che per gentilezza offrendo piatti ricercati mantenendo le tradizioni del luogo. Il personale che li affianca è competente e cordiale.Ristorante molto interessante e sicuramente da provare se ci si reca nella zona.Prezzi in linea con con lo standard della vallata ma con qualità, gentilezza e bellezza del locale nettamente superiori alla media!

Wir waren in den letzen Monaten mehrmals hier, weil fussläufig erreichbar von unserer Ferienwohnung. Und wir haben immer sehr gut gegessen. Es sind weitgehend Klassiker, die serviert werden, aber immer in sehr guter Qualität. Freundlicher Service, der Koch begrüßt immer die Gäste, alles sehr nett und entspannt. Außerdem herrscht ein unkomplizierter Umgang mit unserem Berner Sennenhund, was wir sehr schätzen. Daher immer wieder gerne!

The inside of the restaurant looks like how you would imagine a Swiss Chalet. Very quaint and lovely. The menu is limited but the food was very good with a nice selection of wines. The dress code was casual which from what we could see meant nice shirt and pants, no sport clothes and no sport coats. Do be prepared the prices here are higher than we found in upscale restaurants in Zurich.

Wir waren einige Jahre schon Gast in diesem schönen Restaurant.Das 1.Mal kamen wir als Gast und gingen als Freund.Scheinbar hat die Leitung des Restaurant gewechselt und einiges war kompliziert und nicht mehr gastfreundlich,wie man das gewohnt war. Unser Gruppenbesuch war leider ein reinfall und sehr überteuert.Wir kommen nicht mehr.

Traumhafte Sonnenterrasse, drinnen etwas eng, aber sehr gemütlich, supernetter Service und Chef, tolles Essen zu einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Wahnsinnig leckere Kuchen! Unser neues Lieblings-Restaurant beim Skilaufen auf der Corviglia!!!

The prices are rather steep, but everything was delicious and presented with attention to detail. I was glad to find a few vegetarian options. Located close to slope, it is a great location for after ski lunch or dinner. The atmosphere was not snobbish or exclusive as noticed in other restaurants around here. We ended there wearing sports clothing, which is a no-no in other similar level restaurants. The staff and chef are friendly and down to earth. Definitely recommend.

Wir haben im Chasellas wunderbar und gemütlich gespiesen. Das Lokal, welches zum Suvretta gehört bietet eine ungezwungene Art und sehr aufmerksame Bedienung. Besonders zu empfehlen sind Capuns und auch die exquisite Entenleber.

Schön gelegen am Lift, große Sonnenterrasse, freundlicher Service, gutes regionales Essen zu normalen Preisen, sehr schöne Alternative zu den großen und teuren Restaurants, Parkplätze schwierig, es gibt einen kostenpflichtigen ca. 300m vorher.

Ottimo servizio, posizione incantevole, tipico ambiente montano. Il cambiamento del personale in cucina purtroppo si nota eccome. Zürcher geschnetzeltes (sminuzzato alla zurighese) , che era la specialità del locale, fra i peggiori mai provati; carne dura, tagliata grossa, cotta male, insapore, rösti ben rosolati fuori e crudi dentro. Da evitare.

Have been coming here for years . The food and service were always excellent and worth being very expensive . The chef and crew has now changed ! Momentarily the only thing that has remained is the sky high prices and the good service . The food is quite middle of the road with no specials as they used to have . Chasellas will have to reinvent itself fast if they want to survive the forthcoming season . Nobody is waiting for yet another ordinary average restaurant .

Der Koch hat gewechselt, verbindet neue Kreativität mit der gewohnten Qualität und das Team ist sehr positiv um die Gäste bemüht. Ein Mittag oder Nachmittag auf der Terrasse ist immer ein Höhepunkt eines Besuches im Engadin.

Wie schon viele Male in den letzten Jahren waren wir gestern mit Freunden zum Abendessen im Restaurant Chasellas. Der herzliche Empfang durch die Restaurantleiterin Frau Sonja Jörg, der liebevoll gedeckte Tisch und das köstliche Tatar als Gruss aus der Küche waren nur der Anfang eines kulinarischen Erlebnisses wie es seinesgleichen sucht. Ob der knusprig gebratene Zander mit Zitronenhollandaise, das Trüffelrisotto oder die gebratene Gänseleber - jedes einzelne Gericht für sich ein Hochgenuss! Und erst die Desserts - unbeschreiblich lecker und wunderschön präsentiert. Danke an das gesamte Team. Wir kommen wieder!

Tolles Essen, tolles Personal, tolle Lage. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Ich war schon viele Male in dem Hotel und es hat mir sehr gefallen jeden singen. Auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Wir würden herzlich im Chasellas empfangen. Das Restaurant ist klein also unbedingt vorher reservieren. Das Restaurant wurde uns empfohlen & wir wurden nicht enttäuscht (ich war mir etwas unsicher aufgrund der teils negativen Bewertungen). Die Karte ist ziemlich umfangreich & wir entscheiden uns für je eine Hauptspeise (Wienerschnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln ) & (Zürcher Geschnetzeltes mit Rösti). Die Qualität vom Fleisch war 1a. Zum Abschluss zwei Desserts & wir waren mehr als zufrieden.

Das Restaurant gehört zum Hotel Suvretta House und liegt direkt neben dem Sessellift Base Station. Mein Skilehrer stellte mir die Koch während wir in die Berge zu bekommen und ich konnten einen Tisch für den Abend mit meiner Frau. Es bietet traditionelle österreichische Gerichte sowie einige mit einem asiatischen Touch. Die Wüste war einfach herrlich! Die Weinkarte bietet auch eine breite Vielfalt an hochwertigen Weine.

Wir besuchten das Restaurant nach einem gemütlichen Winterspaziergang und wollten nur eine kleine Stärkung zu uns nehmen. Wir haben glücklicherweise noch einen Tisch im vollen Restaurant bekommen. Leider war die Servicemitarbeiterin so gar nicht kinderfreundlich, was aber in St. Moritz keine Seltenheit ist!Die Gerstensuppe war katastrophal - geschmacklos, kaum Trockenfleisch und man schmeckte nur die Fertigbrühe!Sehr schade, wäre es doch ein schönes Lokal weit weg von Rummel.
