Service was fantastic, our waitress helped explain the whole process to us since it was our first time. Atmosphere was very cool, this warmly lit restaurant that is in the basement of some of the shops in Zermatt.

Our family dined at Cheese Factory in Zermatt and was utterly disappointed. The portions were ridiculously small, making me wonder if they served us a one person fondue for the price of four people. In comparison to other restaurants in Zermatt, the serving sizes here were laughably inadequate. Save your money and appetite for a more satisfying dining experience elsewhere.

Like so many others on this site, I have nothing but RAVE REVIEWS for this place. Husband and I both went here and asked for a one serving fondue portion which we were so happy they allowed with a small supplement....so many other places force you to pay for a minimum of two-person fondue....and as much as we love it, its not possible to eat that much cheese! We chose the Black Truffle fondue with a side of vegetables, and it was to die for! The only problem is this place will RUIN you for any other fondue. You will compare all others with this place. There was a group of very rude business men there that night and I felt sorry for the very nice, helpful staff. I especially love the wall mural of happy cows swimming in cheese! #Vegetarian #CheeseLovers

Loved the atmosphere of this place, and the food was great too. They allow one serving of cheese fondue to be shared amongst two people, and the flavour was not too overpowering for us. The cheesecake dessert paired with mandarin orange sorbet was a highlight and perfect way to end off our meal.

Absolutely amazing fondue and raclette. We had the apricot liquor fondue and the herb in a split pot for 68 CHF total for 2 ppl. Totally worth it tho. The staff is iper friendly and speaks perfect English.

Obwohl wir kein Raclette bestellt hatten, hörten wir interessiert zu.

Das ausgezeichnete Raclette Trio mit Käsen aus 3 verschiedenen Walliser Gegenden sowie der vorzügliche Heida Wein aus Visperterminen können kaum getoppt werden. Die persönliche Betreuung durch die engagierte und äusserst kompetente Chefin und ihrer Crew war eine Freude! Gottseidank war die Qualität des Käses um Welten besser als der Name "Käsefarbik" suggeriert! Vielleicht überlegt sich der Inhaber den Namen nochmals, denn Käsekenner und Käseliebhaber stehen dem Namen "Fabrik" sehr skeptisch gegenüber.
