The hotel is great. Beautiful house in a central location in Madulain with beautiful rooms with wooden walls. It also has a small but everything-offering wellness area. I can therefore highly recommend the hotel. The food was also fantastic, we ate twice in the Bistrot, which served sensational food. All the staff are very attentive and friendly. We'd love to come back!

A very nice little hotel in which we have stayed on several occasions. The rooms are comfortable and well decorated, as are the common areas. Top breakfast. The service is excellent. The cocktails at the bar are delicious. The Michelin-starred restaurant is also a good experience, with a quite surprising menu. The location is ideal for exploring the cross-country ski trails of the Engadine.

We had the 6-course menu with wine accompaniment at Stüva. The ambience is very nice. The food and wine selection was excellent. Service courteous and well coordinated. The boss explains each course at the table. Even the subtle birthday greeting was perfect. A big movie theater. Many thanks to the whole team for the lovely evening.

Unfortunately, visiting this cafe was a disappointing experience. The coffee and cappuccino were watery and tasteless, indicating a lack of concentration and inadequate brewing temperature. The cake we ordered turned out to be a pure lump of sugar, far too sweet for our taste. Even if we try to take into account the positive aspects, such as the friendly service, they cannot compensate for the overall low quality of the products on offer. At a price of around 20CHF, guests certainly expect better quality and taste experience. It is unfortunate that we have had this experience and we hope that improvements will be made in the future to meet customer expectations.

When we arrived we were greeted warmly our servis force was first courteous and helpful the food was delicious and until we paid everything was good. When we wanted to pay with a voucher which we have already communicated the day before by phone the chef came to us and said the voucher is no longer valid although it had no apparent expiration date on the voucher and according to swiss law a voucher has at least 5 years validity he wanted at first that we pay a part although our bill even with tip was below the voucher amount. When we drew his attention to it made him aware that it would not be acceptable to pay more without expiration date on the voucher, he jammed us together said that we would behave wrongly that you can not do something like that but he would offer us out of the goodness of his heart now the food. But since it was paid with the voucher was nothing offered auserd a bad laue and a bad feeling when leaving the locality a place to which I certainly no longer come back and it also not recommend anyone else.

When we arrived at this beautiful hotel, it took 10 minutes and 3 confused staff members to find someone to go through the check-in with us. This person didn't seem to be too pleased to do this and also not sure, how the procedure works. The "Coloni Petit" rooms are really petite, but this we knew from the description. We decided to unwind in the spa which was described as amazing in reviews and looked fantastic on the hotels website. The spa was also petite and neglected. There was a lamp with missing glass, 2 doors in the sauna were hard to open and close, the whirlpool water was dirty and the about 1.5m deep cold pool didn't have stairs to step in or out. In the end we had a fantastic meal in the restaurant (which is not part of the hotel), slept well in the comfortable bed and left the hotel pleased after an equally nice breakfast.

Fantastic discovery some 15 minutes drive away from St Moritz, Stuva Colani seats in a restored historical building. Moderne but minimalist, rooms are very alpine chic with stones marrying pine wood panels. Complementary spa. Bistro and a real good cocktail bar. But then this is not all of it... The restaurant is absolutely great, spacious and calm, fashionably decorated but again not over the top. And what comes on the table is wonderful and really deserves the 1* Michelin / 16 Gault & Millaut... modern Italian cuisine, I went for the 8 course degustation plus wine pairing... all is very well done and has some real creativity: savoury sorbet in a couple of occasion, fermented vegetables... pairing with Bloody Mary, or with Swiss Sake, every dish is a surprise... quantities are generous and prices extremely decent

Nice rooms, engaged chef, friendly staff and good cooked food. Attention: bring shoes that are wearable in the restaurant, you are not allowed to take them off or wear slippers!
