Chez Gustave in Genève

This café restaurant is located in one of the HUG buildings and is self-service with restaurant prices. If like me, you want a coffee and croissant then take cash because debit and credit cards are only accepted from Chf 10. The croissant was greasy, really not good. Decaffeinated coffee was okay. The atmosphere is not very friendly. There is the medical world and you. Two worlds that ignore each other... I didn't try the lunch meals but just for the atmosphere I wouldn't recommend it.

Very good quality cuisine. The desserts are worthy of a 5 star! with a price of a brewery.🙂 I recommend the Pavlova with exotic fruits

Good bistronomic restaurant, quick lunch service. Dish of the day different every day. Pleasant, welcoming and attentive staff.

A pleasure for the eyes 👀 as well as for the fine palate! The service is a little slow but worth the wait!

Small tartare at lunchtime, real fries, perfect meat and seasoning, fast and friendly service, very reasonable price.

Everything was perfectly! Be careful, many people confuse the self-service restaurant with the Brasserie Restaurant…not the same!

We are told that it is full but there are obviously 75% of tables free. It's not possible to drink without eating... but it's a brasserie... incomprehensible.

They don't accept credit cards below 10CHF... so if you are a patient for several days, you need to make sure you have enough cash before going to the hospital. And in terms of hygiene... forcing people to use cash is not ideal either... We are in a hospital... In short, I can't talk about the food since I wasn't able to buy anything (7.5CHF wasn't enough...)

Ne pas confondre avec le snac. Le restaurant est un peu caché, très bon accueil, excellent repas, prix attractifs, café gourmand très gourmand. Tartare au couteau excellent tres bonne présentation mais ma photo est trop grande. j'y reviendrai.

C'est bien simple, il suffit d'aller À la cafétéria LE SNACK, située dans le hall principal, ancien bâtiment, pour comprendre l'insuffisance manifeste des prestations de GUSTAVE à Juillard! Est-ce pour favoriser le restaurant à côté qu'on décourage les patients et les visiteurs? À commencer par l'aménagement des tables en rangs d'oignons inaccessibles aux patients en fauteuil! Sans compter la galère pour ces mêmes patients d'accéder à la terrasse...! A virer au plus vite ce GUGUSSE au profit de LE SNACK! Les patients de JULLIARD, et leurs visiteurs attendent et exigent plus de considération dans une cafétéria digne de cadre !!!

J'ai eu la chance de goûter plusieurs de leurs plats (qui changent régulièrement) et sincèrement je n'ai jamais été déçu. C'est tout simplement délicieux.La présentation est superbe, les saveurs sont bien présentes et variées. Le prix est très raisonnable compte tenu de la qualité des produits.Le personnel est sympathique.Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

Qui pourrait croire qu’à l’intérieur du nouvel hôpital « Julliard «  on puisse manger si bien??!!! Le décor est sobre, mais chaleureux. Les serveurs sont tous très sympatiques, rapides, efficaces et très professionnels. Les plats du jour sont excellents, genre nouvelle cuisine. Belle présentation et très raffinée. Les prix sont plus que raisonnables pour Genève. Vraiment une belle découverte. N’hésitez pas à tester ce bon restaurant même si vous n’avez rien à faire à l’hôpital.

This is a cafe-bistro and snack bar inside the Geneva Cantonal Hospital, Julliard building.

Low variety and oppressive environment at the entrance to the hospital, no separation between the entrance, reception and the tea room. However, the welcome is pleasant

Good products....friendly and professional staff...my granddaughter loves patta notta hhhhhpana cotta I don't want to advertise too much to keep this nice little place in its current state😉but it's worth a visit.. ..

I was pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant in the new Julliard wing of the HUG hospital. It was much better than the self-service in the main HUG. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the food was good-brasserie style. The only drawback is parking, the area is very congested.

Great brasserie for hospital staff or visitors alike

Discovered by chance while going to see my hospitalized friend. I only had one espresso but the place makes me want to go back.

Fast service and good quality price

4 stars to put it in regards of many others hospital eateries... Some fresh "homemade" stuffs and you can get a decent coffee too. Large terrace shielded from the Bise.

Small cafe/brasserie serving lunch and snacks and delicious French pastries. Quiche were delicious and cafe au lait and cappuccino were well made.

Cheapest (and just as good) renversé in the city. A lively hospital cafe open to the public.
