Baby friendly restaurant! It's not always easy with a baby to find a restaurant to eat where he would have as good a time as us, and where he would eat something other than bread. Well, “chez Lin” goes to the top of the list! We called to see if they had high chairs so we could eat their lunch buffet with our 11 month old little guy. When we arrived, what a pleasant surprise to discover that in addition to having put a high chair at our table, they had also prepared his corner: plate, cutlery and plastic glass. A particularly kind and attentive waiter, he brought us a carafe of water for our son, who was able to enjoy different dishes from the buffet, set up like a chef with suitable equipment. Nothing was counted for him, despite his superb place at the table. I can say it, baby will have as good a meal as his parents in this restaurant! Huge favorite. A big thank you to them, we will come back, and go there with your eyes closed with your little gourmands.

Meal was great! Very good. But disappointed with the service...the waitress couldn't even open a bottle. My friend must have opened it. We asked for ice cubes and a jug of water. She forgot... She told us that she was tired of working and it was a disaster to say that to the client. Really disappointed with the service!!

Very good address. Excellent value for money. On the other hand, lack of aspirational guests in the restaurant: you can smell the fries and grill very strongly when you leave.

Test of the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet and what a nice surprise. A choice of starter (sushi, shrimp fritters, gyozas, spring rolls), main courses (Cantonese rice, lemongrass shrimp, crispy beef, etc.) and fruit and apple fritter for dessert. Fresh and delicious products for a more than fair price! I recommend.

Buffet a little small, but otherwise very correct

It's my birthday, I really wanted sushi and I didn't choose a good restaurant. We arrived at 1pm, too early for the buffet to be out of stock, but the owner says it's too late. There were only two varieties, avocado with rice and avocado with rice and seeds (?). We asked the employee if there would be more and she said she was doing it, after waiting 45m we asked the owner about the delay and she said that as it is 2pm there will be no more after that, we say that we have been waiting for a long time and in an arrogant way we didn't want to to know. The employee apologized because she thought they would add more. The owner was very arrogant, she must not need customers to pay the bills, there were 4 of us, the owner tried to talk to us. The employee made a mistake in the end and brought a plate of sushi to our table, we thought it would be an apology but the owner went there without saying anything and took it away, later the owner brought us a small plate. I do not recommend.

First of all, the food was super good, on the other hand the service was certainly very funny, worthy of an amateur... which in the end made us laugh. I think that this person was not from the profession or was totally in stress for fear of not doing well... so we left a nice tip for the good laugh. 🤣🤣🤣

We arrived with friends the waitress was horrible already ordering just the drinks she took 15 minutes just to write and she didn't even understand when we said something to her (she spoke French) so I don't understand I really think she was sedated then when she finally arrived she cheated on half of the drinks after that we decided to leave because the waitress was really mediocre and had the bill just for the drinks she made us count 5.- one very small pot of 2 ml of syrup I have never seen her and she stayed next to us to wait for our order to eat from start to finish we told her you can come back in 5 minutes she said ok and she continued to stay there and we stare omg I've never seen a waitress like that really it's wrong to fire her there otherwise the other waitress was nice and we offered the syrup but this waitress was a nightmare

Very good restaurant, at lunchtime there is an all-you-can-eat buffet which is great (reservation recommended). Otherwise there is the Korean BBQ which is really good.

Very friendly place perfect for any type of restaurant meeting. Very good experience at the buffet. Other opinions around me had some unpleasant surprises but I still recommend this restaurant for its buffet offering which offers a good quantity/price ratio (sufficiently qualitative) Sushi, fried foods, noodles, Cantonese rice and lots of sauce dishes, wide choice for starters, main courses and desserts.

We gave the restaurant another chance. But we won't go there anymore. The service was friendly. The barbecue was ok but not really wow. There is hardly any vegetarian choice. The vegetarian noodles with vegetables were more noodles and almost no vegetables at all. Far too expensive for 19 francs. That evening the restaurant was very busy and most people ordered barbecue. There was no real ventilation and you couldn't open a window anywhere. As the evening progressed, more and more people started coughing because it was so smoky in the restaurant. We were also busy coughing. You almost have to report something like that because it's not healthy.

Price 25th for lunch the all-you-can-eat buffet everything is very good and fresh just a little lack of choice and space for the buffet because around 12:30 p.m. the queue sets up to access the buffet

The food was average, but the sushi was very good! The only star is for hygiene and only concerns Itamae (name for the cook who makes the sushi.) He has blown his nose several times and often looks at his phone to write messages in between making food and doesn't wash his hands after all that. Absolutely unacceptable!!!! As a cook he is supposed to know the basic rules of food hygiene and in this case it is even a question of common sense!!!!! Namely it is at the front of the stage (in front of the customers), in this case we can ask ourselves what happens in the kitchen far from the eyes of the customers?

All you can eat buffet large choice with sushi spring roll with soup with first course 2nd place in any case three courses to choose from plus desserts finally we were happy.

3 because the food was very good and the quantities generous. What lowered the bill was the attitude of the waitress who took care of us. She had a condescending attitude that shocked us. When we told her that we didn't yet know what we wanted to drink, she took on an expression of disgusted astonishment, 0 professionalism. That said, the other members of the staff were very nice, as were the decor and the atmosphere of the restaurant.

We had the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet. And we appreciated the quality/price ratio, the friendly service and the varied choice of the buffet. We'll come back.

Tasting Chicken Turiyaki for the first time, it was very good. Service. 3 large starters for two, 2 hot dishes, 4 beers. Not expensive, it costs only 80 chf. Great

I've been going to this place since it changed from "The Thirteen Stars". Always good to have a new choice of food in town, especially with the Korean dishes on the menu. Mostly I come alone for a quick meal and drink, or sometimes I invite friends for the midday buffet. Why the low rating? For the less than standard "welcome". Coming back by train from Milan, and looking forward to a meal before going home, I walked into the completely empty restaurant at 18.00. The only table I was offered was one in the worst place in the restaurant. When I asked for one of the other tables, in this completely empty restaurant, I was told "no, that one is reserved, no that one is only for barbeque". In a completely empty restaurant!! I left and went to a nearby Thai place, was given a choice of tables, ate, drank, paid, and just out of curiosity, went back at 18.40 to the still completely empty Chez Lin. We went for the first time to eat sushi, despite great difficulty in understanding with the waitress and that we had received more than sixty sushis instead of twenty (the waitress does not speak French well, total incomprehension) .... the sushi was delicious... just for that we went back a second time... and as a precaution I ordered a platter of 18 sushi... and there, another disappointment, it seems that it was not homemade (hard and dry like in supermarkets)... too bad for the quality.... So we won't go back there again...😆

It's Asian food, not just Korean. The staff very friendly and attentive. They attended to me in English since I don't speak French. The food was delicious, I would have liked to have had the opportunity to try some other dish on the menu. The prices are reasonable considering that everything in Switzerland is expensive. And it is very easy to get to, just a few steps from the bus station. I definitely recommend it highly if you want authentic Asian flavor.

Serious bad review! Don't go! We ate the kids’ leftovers and they would empty the trash can anyway 🗑️ It felt like a waste. We ordered scattered meals instead of paying nothing and just ate the kids’ leftovers at the buffet. The boss was arrogant and we don’t like to argue without saying anything. Why bother with the 23 francs after paying the bill? We are not from France. We are all from a well-educated Swiss family. My husband is a native of Switzerland. He also said that he has never seen such unreasonable Chinese restaurants in Switzerland. He has never seen such unreasonable Chinese restaurants even in France! My husband also gave one star and a review. He said that it was unlucky to ruin the mood of the weekend. Anyway, we didn’t explain much the last time we visited. The reason for commenting online is for other customers to hope they don’t suffer the same loss. The public is very discerning. If you have someone who loves you, I hope you won't encounter such a bad thing.

Good food and friendly atmosphere

We ate a la carte this evening, we were well received, well served from start to finish and even if the frozen mochi are not homemade it in no way takes away from the perfect texture and excellent taste. I ate the squid with the hot sauce was delicious, it’s the first time I went there and I can’t wait to go back for the BBQ 👌🏻

I recommend this address! I ate the barbecue there for 38.- just a word great! The meat was excellent, the sauces and the accompaniments. There were two of us but the portions were more than enough, I guess 3 is fine too. Starter and dessert were delicious. Well done and thank you

We went to eat with a group of friends. The servers are unfriendly, it is impossible to ask questions about the dishes because the language barrier is too present. We had fried chicken Chicken that arrived pink. We informed the waiter who gave us the excuse that the pink color came from the bone... Nice try. They offered to recook it but the aftertaste of raw chicken and the garlic-based over-seasoning (which was not specified) put us off a little. When paying for 2 of us who had chicken, the waiter only offered us one out of two. Saying that the loss would be too great and that we just had to share the amount. Given the sympathy of the staff besides children under 16 years old in the service after 9:00 p.m. meh... This all leaves something to be desired!!! To flee

Absolutely awful. Some restaurants have forgotten in the last two years that the government is not the customer. Instead of trusting the honor and loyalty of customers, these establishments resort to fear and incredibly complete hypocrisy. How can anyone dare to enforce rules that they themselves refuse to follow? I look forward to returning once sane, rational people take control of the place.

Superb experience, only small downside, the service is very very slow, but the reward is at the end of the tunnel and the inconvenience is quickly forgotten, let yourself be tempted by the barbecue menu!

It is marked as a Korean restaurant but the lunch buffet is majority (95% +5% sushi) Chinese. The price is rather high - other similar buffets in Canton VD are much better in terms of quality, variety and price.

They have been taking increasingly long with deliveries (on average well over an hour) and finally last night I waited for over two hours, trying to reach them by phone several times, not managing to have an answer in any of them. The food never came but still appears as "will be delivered shortly"
